Missouri girls out there?

I am in Harrisonville, Mo. About 40 miles south of KC. Lived in the KC area since 1983.
-
I'm about 90 miles south of St. Louis going to Siteman Cancer center.
-
I am about 35 miles East of KC, right on the MO river. I work in Raytown (which is Kansas City) and am being treated at St. Lukes. I had to choose my first post somewhere, so I guess it's in the MO thread.
-
Welcome Fierro6, sorry you have to join us. But I was starting to wonder if I was the only MO girl here.
-
i was diagnosed on at the end of march, lumpectomy beginning of april and was suposed to have simulation for radiation and then start radiation next week. it is all on hold because i have some strange infection (not at the incision site) that is not going away with antibiotics. i am treated at siteman too. i have low grade stage 0 DCIS.
-
Hi mckenna, sorry about the infection. I'm sure they will get it cleared up soon. I like siteman myself one stop does it all. Everyone I've meet so far seems really caring and nice.
-
Another way to check for Missouri girls on the forums who might not find this thread is to go to the Search link (near the top right of any page) and type in Missouri as your search word. It won't find everyone, but will highlight anyone who has mentioned the word in a post.

Thank you Mods. I finally figured out how to save it so I could find my own way back.

I just saw this thread, and I see that no one has posted in awhile. But just in case someone is still out there checking out the Missouri Girls thread I thought I'd add my name to the list:) I am 4 years out from dx and am a patient at Siteman in STL. I live almost 3 hours south of the city. Hugs to all you!
-
Hi RunnerMom- seems we don't get to this thread often. I have finished my treatment at Siteman and now just go for my checkups every 3 months. 3 hours is a long way to go, I thought 2 was bad.
Hope everything is going well for the Missouri girls!

Just found this thread! Finished treatment a year ago at Siteman in St. Peters. I would love to connect with other Missouri gals!
