3jays: Check out USA Network's Web site. You can watch episodes of In Plain Sight there. I think I've seen them all, but had to catch most of them via the Web site. I really liked Mary in spite of her being unlikeable at times. I thought they tied up the series pretty well. But oh, I'll miss it. (I can only imagine how Marchall being her boss would push Mary's buttons!) Maybe the producers thought there would be too much bloodshed. Surprised

I am a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy. Does anyone remember St. Elsewhere, another hospital drama? There was a character on that show called Dr. Mark Craig played by William Daniels. He was a brilliant cardiac surgeon with a less than pleasant, domineering personality. It was a great touch that he was Christina Yang's examiner during her oral exams.

Supposedly, a beloved character will die during the season finale of Grey's. Any guesses as to who it might be? I think it will be Derek or Richard.

Someone had said that Derek might be leaving the show so could be him, but how would he die?..an accident.  I thuoght the way they killed George off was terrible and very unrealistic....surely someone would have recognized something on the guy's body and known who he was.

I watched Grey's the other night and told my friend I was sure that was who that examiner was, but I did not know his name, only I recognized his voice and knew he was from St.Elsewhere.   That was a great show.  I also liked Chicago Hope.    Going way way back, remember Dr.Kildaire and Ben Casey?  I liked Ben Casey over Dr.Kildaire....latter was a little too clean cut for me.  I even had a Ben Casey shirt.  Seems like medical shows go in spurts and then it will be law shows for awhile and of course not it's all those reality shows.  I used to love Boston Legal...oh and Allie McBeal....great characters on there.

Maybe Richard's wife since she has Alzheimer's?

I just read about the show now, since I haven't watched Grey's since  Meredith messed with Derek's drug trial. No way would she have had a job after that. Same with Private Practice, just got too childish for me,everybody sleeping around, etc.

I enjoyed Grey's the other night. And I did recognize the Dr form St.Elsewhere..what a good show that was.  Marybe, I so remember Dr Casey and Kildare!!

I hope it is not Derek being killed off....I hate when they kill people off of shows. Cheryl1946 that is a good pont about Richard's wife.

I relly enjoy Scandal....very good show.

Last night I watched "It's Complicated" with Meryl Streep,Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. good movie!

    hugs

Cheryl,   17 lbs of babies!!! They were quite large for twins, weren't they? ....they need to have that on a medical show!!  A woman I work with had twins and the larger one was only 5 lbs.

St. Elsewhere was great. Remember the show where the doctor's wife died. She was an organ donor and her heart was transplanted. At the end of the show, the doctor went in to the transplant patient's room to listen to his wife's heart. It was so moving. I became an organ donor because of that show.

Marybe, I watched Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare when I was a child. I begged my mother to buy me a Ben Casey shirt and it was one of my prized possessions. I can still remember the beginning of each episode with Dr. Zorba writing symbols on a chalkboard and saying, "Man, woman, birth, death, infinity."

I can hear Dr. Zorba saying those words right now... that accent....that was a good show.

When they killed off George on Grey's, that's when I stopped watching. Too much unrealistic stuff going on..

Anybody watching The Killing on AMC? That is such a good show. So many people got all bummed out after the first season when they didn't disclose the murderer of Rosie; the viewership has dropped this year, they say, because of it. I didn't mind, heck, books are long.... why does everything have to be "wrapped" up at the end of the season?? I mean, investigations last a long time & things aren't solved in a few weeks. It will be resolved at the end of this season 2, they have said. I just hope it is renewed for a season 3.

    Waiting ......... waiting ............ waiting........

    for Breaking Bad !!!

Very happy The Good Wife & Revenge have been renewed.

Oh Valjean.....is it taking forever or what??? I've officially decided there's no other tv worth watching. Just last night I said to my son, why are we watching this crap? Let's watch Breaking Bad re-runs instead.

    Marybe,

They were the largest twins ever born at that hospital;don't know if they still hold the record.

Back then there were no ultrasounds, just x rays. Doc went around and told staff, there will be large twins born by c-section this evening stay and watch if you want.

My first great grandson weighed only 2 lbs 1oz;my granddaughter was due in July and he was born in April. He is 13. Her second son weighed 10 lbs 6 oz! But he has pan hypopituitaryism and will need human growth hormone injections daily the rest of his life, along with many other meds.

    You just never know.

    Valjean,

I love mysteries and was hooked on The Killing from the start.

Does anyone watch  Sherlock Holmes on PBS Sundays at 9? New season starts tonight. It's an updated series and occurs in the current time.

candie...I started to but just can't get into it...there is another show at the same time so I try to switch back and forth and that doesn't work.

Cheryl...Adele has alzheimers and is in a home...she's in love with another patient and doesn't remember Richard so don't think it can be her. I wonder if it's Dr. Sloan...Derek signed for another year so it can't be him. No mention of Eric Dane signing a new contract like the others so............

I am thinking it might be Arizona who dies on Grey's Anatomy. At the last minute, she refused to let Korev represent Seattle Grace during the surgery in Boise so she was on the plane when it crashed. Also, her death would make Korev feel guilty enough to stay in Seattle instead of going to Hopkins.

hmmmmmmmm good point I know the actor that plays Karev signed a new contract so can't be him.

I've got a Kindle and like it a lot. Some books are free or very low price. I take it everywhere. It's like having a mobile library. And yes, the download is fast, fast, fast.
