AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11

Seaside, might I assume PP and Colton are bunking at your house? Colton has not been one of my favorites but he did a fantastic job tonight!! See you all tomorrow, when Heejun goes home.
-
I might not be here tomorrow night.
Maybe I cheat when i get home.
Good Night All.
-
Sheila I'll miss you tonight if you don't make it
see the rest of you ladies here in a few hours. Really hope Heejun finally leaves.
-
mimi, me too, he's a little bizarre and no voice either. Karen
-
Well, poop! For the first half hour, our local Fox station completely lost the signal and all we got \ were blips and bleeps of sound and flashes of pictures and colors.
BILLY JOEL WEEK!
DEANDRE/Only The Good Die Young.....gosh - looked and sounded like his same performance of two weeks ago! I think he should get a contract with Disney.
ERIKA/New York State Of Mind....WOW! Was that a wig? Or did she cut and dye her hair? Wish I could have heard her sing....
JOSHUA/She's Got A Way..... He just looked - and sounded - uncomfortable. I could not believe that Steven Tyler said he's never heard that song before!
ELISE/Vienna.....Hmmmm....said she liked 70's flowing gowns...Tommy Hilfiger says "Oh, yes, Janis Joplin!" Duh....I liked her song, especially at the end. Some great vocal runs.
SKYLAR/Shameless.....Thank goodness she's young, because that was one of the weirdest dresses I've ever seen with those big 'ol hips. And what happened to her cowboy boots? Her voice just can't go to those low registers, and she sounded weak and awful. But when she got to the big parts, she was back on top.
PHILLIP/Movin' Out.....Tommy Hilfiger: "Don't Wear Gray!" Diddy: "Lose the guitar!" He didn't listen to either of these guys and did a fine job. He knows who he is.
HOLLIE/Honesty.....So she tells Tommy she likes sparkly, girly dresses, and ends up on stage looking like Elton John in "76 Trombones". But SO glad Jimmy/Diddy set her straight on her take on the meaning of the song. I think that was the first time she actually connected with the lyrics of anything she's sung.
HEEJUN/My Life.....Well! I guess he told us!!!! Seriously, I'm with Diddy - can't quite figure this guy out.
JESSICA/Everybody Has A Dream......FINALLY! Someone told her to stop screaming every song!!!! And it paid off - VERY believable!
COLTON/Piano Man.....Perfect song, perfect rendition with the very subdued piano background and mostly Colton's voice.
-
Blessings. sorry you missed the beginning but you were right on point with all your reviews, who do you think is going home?
-
Coming up on showtime east coasters!!!
Karen,
I'm going with Heejun although there were a couple others that didn't do well, I think they msy have a following that will keep them around a bit longer! -
I'm here, all OK so far, each deserved to stay, I was a little worried for Hollie, who did not do as fantastically as other weeks. Hi Seaside, we'll have to wait and see if he gets the boot, should.
-
Who was that?, I must be totally out of touch with today's music icons, I kept expecting the judges to give her negative comments!
-
where is everybody?
-
Lol Karen,
My thoughts EXACTLY... Who the heck was that? -
I think Sheila had something else shebhad to attend to tonight.... I'm here tho!
-
OK.... A bit surprised on that one but I don't think he's going tonight.... Miss Haley Reinhart is in the house!!! LOVED her!
-
Yes, she said she might get in too late, Deandre = the tweenies did not pull him through, I doubt he will leave though.
-
Hi I'm here but late... so glad to see Elise safe. Shocked to see Josh safe! WOW!!!
-
I agree Karen I really don't think Deandre will leave tonight either
-
I agree with the exception of Erika, I think the judges would save her if she was to be chosen
-
Haley was good tonight I liked her song and she looks amazing as always!
-
OMG===HeeJun needs to go home!!!!!!!
anne
-
Ohhhh.... You have to be freaking kidding me!! I mean really... What in the heck are these voters thinking?!!!!
-
How can Hejun be safe? He's such a joke.
-
What???? How can the judges not use a save? So annoying.
-
Mimi,
I agree on Haley... She looked and sounded just fabulous! -
Unbelieveable, what a mistake not to save her. And Heejun is safe - that's just wrong.
-
I am running behind and I can't believe what I just saw happen that Heejun is safe... WTH are the voters thinking about keeping someone like him? really!!!! Erika at least can sing. America needs to get it right... Darn I'm really ticked off
-
Mimi, I am ticked off too, I hope we are not going to have a Sanjihra year! This may be another Chris Daughtry year.
-
-
OK... Officially annoyed now!
This was the post from votefortheworst.com tonight.... It explains a lot....
"Heejun was in the bottom 2 with Erika Van Pelt but he was not the lowest vote getter. Looks like if he wasn't the VFTW pick, he'd have gone home without our votes. We saved him! Great work, Worsters. You did a phenomenal job making sure he had just enough votes to make it through this week and now it's fairly obvious this was all our doing. Andwe got Erika, someone who can actually sing pretty well, booted. She wasn't saved, and hopefully now everyone understands when we say you actually need to vote your fingers off. Never take for granted that Heejun will stick around because he's hanging on by a thread. And Heejun, keep delivering and being as crazy as you "
Grrrrrrrrr! -
UNBELIEVABLE
-
Seaside, cannot believe that this club actually exists, what are they trying to prove, that they can keep Heejun like the year they kept saving Sanjirha. Also do not believe the judges did not use their save, unless they too feel something like this is going on and may need the save vote at a later time. Really ticks me off!
