So sorry Sandy. I hope today goes well for you and you come home and SLEEP!!
Flooring guys should be here soon......very noisy!!
-
Do you get any sleep during chemo, Sandy? They used to give me so much Benedryl, I couldn't stay awake. Good luck today
-
Blondie......not sure what happened, but Friday night at 5pm I was fine.....at 5:30, I walked into my daughter's and my son-in-law said "what the hell is all that crap in your eye................well the whole eye was full of blood.
Anyway I went the next day to the eye doctor, and he said it was a broken blood vessel.
We had all gone that night to a birthday party for one of my grandsons, so we were all together. (large family).....................
Now my grandson saw my eye, but never acted like it bothered him.............I text my daughter the next day to say "I'm going to the eye Dr."...............my grandson heard her tell his Dad, "that was my mother who just text me".........................my grandson said "Mom,.............is your Mother coming over here (to his house)..................she said "No Sean she is going to the eye doctor...............he said "oh thank God, I can't look at that eye anymore".
So when I had to go there last night to babysit........I had to take the "eye" with me, which is still full of blood for about another 2 weeks.....................that was when he said "its ok Nan, I'll sit on the other side of the eye"................
It is ugly............that night none of my kids would look at me when they were talking to me, and if they did, they had the "holy shit" look on their face, and of course I was the brunt of all the humor (which I usually am)..................but they were funny.....................Hope all goes well with you, and you can get some sleep...................take care
-
Sandy, hope you don't have any SE's from chemo today and that you sleep well tonight!
Hope your eye clears up fast so your family can look at you again, Ducky. Funny and sucks at the same time.
Lucky Linda with all that nice, new stuff in the house. Hope they finish the floor fast!

Well went to BJ's and Target with my daughter today......Love our Thursdays out together.....Did our thing, and then came home to her house, had some of my homemade Bean Soup that I brought with me, and bought a nice whole wheat baguette in Target, and what a lovely lunch.
Home now, and just tried to fit all my crap in the freezer................that is like trying to stick 10lbs of "shit", in a 2lb bag".........................but I got it in there, God help me when I have to next open it.
While I was in Target I was checking out......Nikki (daughter) was right behind me, the woman was ringing me up, and kept staring at me.................well you know how you get..............you think "ok, does my hair look that bad".............does she have the hots for me"................must be a boogie waving from my nose, and she can't take her eyes off it.........................finally I whispered to my daughter.................WTF is this woman staring at.......................my daughter looked me square in the face and said.......IT'S YOUR EYE QUAZIMOTO"...................now do you see what I deal with, with my kids............................their all comedians................
She said to me while she was eating the soup..........Oh Mom, Sean and the kids are really going to appreciate what I'm eating for lunch...............she is the only one who eats bean soup, so she is the only one who gets the "gas"..................she said the other night she was in the kitchen doing the dishes....................after having Bean Soup for lunch at work (took mine), she said she had the worst gas of her life....................................not being able to hold the "farts" in any longer..........she finally let one go..............my grandson (13) was sitting in the family-room right off the kitchen, and yelled to her "WHAT, ..........I DIDN'T HEAR YOU'............................She said she laughed so hard she peed her pants............................they are all goofy.............just another one of my family stories...................hugs ladies.

Was up until 430 am and now winding down. Tomorrow is mom mom and andrew day, thinking about the movies after our lunch date. How is everyone today....
It is lighter longer here......how about there....
Sandy
-
LOL Ducky. I make chili for my husband and after he eats it I say why the heck did I make that! And if he washes it down with some Sam Adams...........not pretty!
Hope you got some rest Sandy and you enjoy your lunch date and movie. Yes, it's lighter here! The weather man said we gain 2.5 minutes of daylight every day in the month of Feb! YAY!! March 11 we change the clocks so it will be really light!
-
I feel like I can actually get things done outside after work. We are still too cold to bring the plants out of the greenhouse. Hard freeze yesterday morning.
-
It's so strange to live in the Northeast and NOTHING IS FROZEN!! No pond skating at all this year, but the kids can fish! The grass is still pretty green. I'd say the average low is about 35 and it warms up to mid 40's or higher during the day. That's my kind of winter!
-
I like not having to worry about dangerous roads. hope I didn't jinx us.
-
Girls came in to get the turtles. When they saw how small they are, one of them started screaming. They are very cute. And smaller than we thought they were going to be. And they were still alive - which was what worried me. I hope they don't spend too much time back at the school showing the teacher(s) and get them into the tank. Don't want them to get sick from dehydration after all this. I miss my little buddies already and I only had them for 5 hrs. Guess I'm lonely.
-
((((Chris)))) I love turtles!!!
-
-
AWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! I should have had turtles instead of boys!
-
-
me!! me!!! I want to go!!
-
How about this one?
-
me!! ME!!! I want to go there too!
-
How did you find out where I lived.....................You guys are good....................
-
We are all moving in with you Ducky, especially if you have that water cooler! I'm in!
