Thinking Out Loud.....

Essa, I want spring too!! 50's today in Boston, unheard of!! I have wild pansies that are flowering and crocus in full bloom!
-
My Daffodils are about an inch or 2 out of the ground, same with some tulips, nothing blossoming yet.
-
Sam's is like Costco and BJ's or Sam Adam's BEER.
-
Sandy....Port is so easy.....and it was used a lot because of once a week Herceptin and all the other chemos i got.
Now they have different ones that goes under the arm or something.
and they dont put you under......good Luck hugs♥
Esa...my rose bush didn't die completely this year. It was a weird winter.
Sam is like almost Costco was there once...I don't think their prices are low.
-
OCF......yes i treated myself with OCF tonight and had them delivered
Ordered all deep fry food. I feel good and sam is keeping me company........
-
YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Love COSTCO Miss COSTCO, we moved too far to go often. They have organic and European foods, love COSTCO. Sam's I was never into, and prices were high for us, might as well shop for sales. Understand Aldi's is a new place, have to go there sometime.
Last fall I leaf blowed all the leaves in yard over the flowers and under the bushes, so now I have a job to do, but last fall I was not capable of more.
Edited to say::: ummm when I say leaves, I mean an acre of leaves with 30 oaks, that's just the groomed yard, we let most go back to nature of the 8 acres, most of woods or weeds now, too much otherwise. There were 12 flower gardens and I need ther to be one, ouch. But we are moving asap, so maybe I won't have to do the leaves at all.

Blondie....................Sam's is a Pizza place on 26th Street in North Wildwood.........People come from all over to get their pizza.............They have been there since 1958 I believe...........good pizza........but we have a place in Springfield, called Sciarrino's which I think is as good or better then Sam's..............of course my SIL , Sean, won't admit it...............he says.....................very close, very close.........I still say better..................if you ever get to North Wildwood, you have to try it, and tell me what you think..................It is on the boardwalk, right near Morey's Pier............
-
Linda...i hate to do this to you after OCF...but....Will the kids start their winter vacation this week?
♥
-
Good Night
-
Sleep well tonight, Sheila.
-
Oh Sam's in North Wildwood PA. Ducky, when Hubby and I are heading into or from PA sometime, we will have to try it. Sounds good.
-
Essa............It is good, but my son -in- law, thinks its great.......maybe I'm the goofy one..............although I have seen my own son drive to the shore which is 1 1/2hours away just to get Sam's. It is also in New Jersey, not Pa......I live in Pa. but I also have a vacation home in South Jersey...............
I have a home in South Jersey, in Cape May Beach.......we're there throughout the summer, so Sam's is always a meal for one night.......they go to the boardwalk, and stop by Sam's first for their pizza.
My husband (when he was alive) would say "Pizza is a snack its not a meal..........I agree with him, but kids today call it "dinner"..............hahahaha
-
Yes they are on vacation. Already had 3 sleep overs. I will need OCF soon. Now I want pizza....
-
So thankful sleepovers are over. DH is going to Sac for a conference this week so I am on my own for my first vacation day off in quite awhile. Back to work tomorrow though.
-
I am jealous Meece. I have several teenage boys I can send over to help out in the yard.
Enjoy your quiet time!
-
I would welcome that, really! I have some real exciting plans, clean the pantry, dust and vacuum, and the list goes on.
-
WOW!!! Sounds like a blast! Enjoy your day!

Had my daughter for dinner on Saturday .........Big pot of "gravy", ziti, and rigatoni........nice salad, and brownies for dessert.
Since my son (the one who just ditched the "bitch".........won't come over, and I know he needs all the help he can get, but is to proud to say so got everything that didn't get eaten................Lots of meatballs, sausage, ziti and rigatoni (always cook too much), nice loaf of italian bread, brownies, cutie clementines for the kids, and chessy bread too............He text me last night to say thanks, and that it was soooo good..............I just feel so bad for him trying to take care of a "massive" home, 3 kids, and run a business at the same time........and in Pa. that bitch will walk away with 60% of what he has..........so sad .
Today I am going to make "scone".......made it on Saturday, and it was great.....' I asked my daughter if she wanted to take 1 home..she said.......just give me 1/2............she text me yesterday, and said "having my scone with coffee".........."fighting Makayla for it, should have taken the whole thing"............................of course I am a mother who says "told y;ou so"........................my grandaughter loves it, and said "Nan can you put chocolate chips in one of them........gonna give it a shot...........I won't eat it, but she can have it all.........
Then a pot of soup for my son .........another meal for this week for him...........can't do much more then send him food........he asks for nothing....but takes what you send..........oh well back into the kitchen, the oven just beeped..........onto my scones................hugs ladies...gorgerous here in Pa.
-
-
Wow, I have been one "kitchen bitch" today...............just took my chocolate chip scone out of the oven.........Makayla (grandaughter) is gonna love this I'm sure..............Made my chicken salad for #3 son ...
Think I'll run to the store to buy some more raisins, and buttermilk to make more scone..........it is so good in the morning............toasted, a little bit of butter, coffee, and your in heaven..............I also have some apple butter, and pear butter......hmmmm, maybe that tomorrow on the top of the butter............yummy
Think maybe lentil soup for dinner tonight ........I bought Panera Bread's lentil soup at BJ's when I was there...........hopefully it is as good as mine............should probably have made my own...........but everyone doesn't eat it, so it would mean a lot of lentil soup and no one to share it with.................still have to make the chicken soup for #3 son and the kids......
Opened the spot under the sink today, and saw what I though was a coffee ground, then thought................ok, dummy, you use a Keurig, you shouldn't have coffee grinds.........well low and behold...............I have a visitor....................Yea f/n Mickey found a way into the house, and with no food around decided to eat the spare paper towel roll that was under the sink............I hope the little bastard gets so blocked up with paper towel shit, he explodes....................as long as he blows up outside the house......................have no idea where this little shit got in, but he won't be here for long................GUARANTEED..........hahahahahahahahaha, I got plans for his ass..............................Hopefully he didn't bring MInnie with him...................
-
Oh my gosh, Ducky - you are such a good mom! Hope you get rid of Mickey fast and that he didn't bring anyone with him.
You can buy Panera soup in a store? I love their cheddar broccoli - have you seen that at BJ's?
Linda - you've had THREE sleepovers - already?!!! UGH. DD is having friends over as we speak for her birthday. No plans for anyone to sleep over....yet. Turned 18 yesterday. One down, one to go! (lol) Of course, she's not really going anywhere...
Sandy - sorry you have to get a port - hope they can place it so it doesn't bother you at all.
Hope you had a nice day off and didn't do too much housework, Meece. I've been cleaning this mess of a house for DD's friends to come over... cut my finger on a sharp corner of the radiator wiping up the bathroom floor, pinched my hand with scissor type things trimming the stems of flowers DH bought DD and then proceeded to cut my finger on my other hand wiping the flower stuff off the blades...I seem to be an accident waiting to happen today. I do have some ironing to do, but I'm afraid I will burn myself... spaz.
Speaking of "gravy," anyone have a recipe they'd like to share? The easier, the better (not culinarily inclined.) I am so sick of jarred sauce. I don't like any of them, but I don't have a good recipe to make some.
(((((((Sheila)))))))) ((((((((Sandy)))))))) (((((((TOL))))))))

What happened to my gravy recipe post???????????? LOST!!
-
OMG ducky for the mickey....some of you you do remember my mouse that visited me couple years back,,,,,,,,,I'm terrified of them.
all the food you made.......you like to cook and feed the family.......your son will find himself...it's very painful at the beginning.
You mean their mother left the children too????????
chris♥
Linda♥

Sheila, I remember your Mickey!! lol!
-
Yea post that one.
Well the story is now.....I have superficial thrombosis....and an infection in my arm, it is swollon, warm to touch and hurts so got an ultrasound today after I went to the oncology unit and the dr. isn't there, have to get a port but am supposed to get chemo on wednesday but need to get bloodwork and now both arms are out of commission, so who knows what they will do, cancer sucks btw.....
It was beautiful today as ducky says and Ducky, when I stay in Wildwood, it is North on 18th street I think at the Sahara....can't wait to go....

-
Had leftovers from last night.

Later chocolate for dessert........
-
potato chips sound yummy!
-
chrisct.................yes you can get cheddar broccoli, but remember I said BJ's......which would be the same as Cosco, or Sam's Club............I actually had it in my hand but decided to go with "healthy"....................
Sheila....normally I make all my own soups, but didn't feel like eating a "pot full" of Lentil soup, and I don't know how to make "small".
Blondie.........Sam's is only 8 blocks away from where you stay...............it is on the boardwalk, like I said at 26th St.
Well going to bed, and hope Mickey decides to go next door tonight......little bastard..............
