Miccrimmom, You go girl... that is a great start.

150
Admittedly probably most of the 3 # down can be accounted for by the clothes I was wearing when weighed at the onc's office compared to wearing nothing in my bathroom this morning. But I'll take it, and next week's weigh in will show if I am really trying. Yikes!!
-
congrats gillyone! I would take it! keep it going...
my weight is going no where...I'm blaming it on the exercise and increase in muscle
-
Good for you gillyone!!
-
Congrats Gilly
-
It's tough work. We really admire all of you for your commitment in helping each other to reach your goals! GO GIRLS, GO!
-
There are some great things going on here - look at Titan, Tracie, Monika and Fighter!!! (Just for example)
-
Thanks gillyone, and your doing a great job to.... I went to my first Zumba class night.... I feel like I was hit by a bus... It was a blast.
-
Tracie - glad you liked it. I tried a zumba class last semester and hated it. The instructor was terrible - couldn't count, changed moves at unnatural times. Not fun. All I am doing right now is walking a couple of miles three times a week as I walk onto campus for choir.
-
My SIL in Philly is a Zumba instructor and teaches several classes a week, she is now involved in teaching BOWKA?? I have no idea how she does it. Needless to say she has a perfect figure.
-
My new scale says 144. So I gained about 5 over the holiday. Guess I need to hang out here more!
-
Lynn-I gained about 6 or 7 over the holidays, so don't feel too bad...just need to get right back where we left off, right?

Susan: I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one:). I have been trying to eat better and go to the gym every day. I can't believe how easily and quickly I gained those pounds, lol.
-
Hi Girls.... I gained a few pounds. 150.3. ooops! That is what I get for going back home (BRAZIL) for my vacation.... I ate everything under the sun.... Life is good!!!! Need to get back on track..... Treadmill here I come!
-
Down 3lbs!! I'm now 217lbs....broke through the 220...yippee!
-
after gaining a couple pounds that I had lost since the holidays, the scale is back down to my original weight (179) hope to see a loss by next week! I figure it is all the exercise i've been doing incresing my muscle mass (I hope)
Congrats, Maritime Mom! Way to go! I want to be you next week

131 at today's weight watchers meeting. I have been watching but the scale is not moving. Started taking some pain medicine for arthritis and one of the side effects is weight gain. I just can't win...
-
131 sounds good, but what are you aiming for?
-
130 is my weight watchers goal, used to be 125 but was not able to maintain that. I look and feel my best at 128. If I could just give up the carbs I would be ok. When I am 128 I don't have the muffin top that hangs over my slacks. I have a niece getting married in June so my goal is to be 128 by June. I was 127 in mid December but the holidays really did a number on me. I know 3 pounds doesn't sound like much, but I struggle just to maintain 131 on a daily basis. The new medicine makes me hungry all the time, so it is really a discipline thing.
-
Yep, I know the feeling GuyGirl. I'm hanging @ 130-132 but if I shed those 3-5 pounds I feel so much better in bikinis! Otherwise, I'll sometimes default to a classy one-piece. But bikinis keep me young at heart!

Whose having panckes for Dinner tonight?
-
My hubby makes wonderful crepes! Sounds like a plan!
-
Hi Ladies , I have been off for a while due to a bad eye infection... did you know you can get ulcers on your cornea? Better known as herpes of the eye ..... from stress imagine that , It was the most painful thing I have ever been through. I had to wear those big dark glasses for 3 weeks and I still could not be in the light.... I am still at 153.
GuyGirl I love pancakes for breakfast... I love the fiber one pancake mix with mashed banana's in it.You don't even need a lot of syrup mmmm sounds like a good supper tonight.
-
tracie-- As a lifelong contact lens wearer, yes, I did. It's one of the reasons my ophthalmologist no longer prescribes extended wear contacts, only daily wear.
-

-
Had my know your numbers thing today for insurance...138 w clothes ON!
but dang...they were trying to take the blood from my arm...they said..oh nice plump veins...I told them to take the blood from my hand because my arm veins "roll"..of course they didn't listen and they rolled so they had to take it from my hand anyway..why wouldn't they listen...so I was poked twice...
Ya know..I was poked 8 plus times for chemo plus all the blood stuff..and I handled that well without squealing...well...I was squealing today.
Oh..and afterwards I had 2 cups of coffee, tea, a bagel w cream cheese, yogurt, banana, apple, a little bag of chips...yeah..I was hungry...
