Up and having coffee before I head to work. DH is enjoying yet another day off. Grrrrrrr
I didn't accomplish much yesterday. After church I came home, fixed lunch, soaked in the tub (My hip is killing me, yep I'm falling apart, too) took a nap, cooked dinner watched TV, went to bed. Thrilling life I lead.
DH and I are sarting to diet together. DS gets married in 40-some weeks and I want to look good in whatever I choose. Sheila, for your port scar, you can always use a flowing scarf in a tropical print with a solid colored dress. You can also use garment tape to keep things in place.

Sheila.....actually thought about that song first, but never listen to her....not crazy about her, or JB....................more of a "country girl" myself.............although I like all genre's of music........I'm just not crazy about the "kiddie singers".............glad you got it.......that kind of stuff drives me 'nuts.....................
-
Although I really like Scotty, and Lauren...............but then their country...........
-
Ducky...i love country....I nd i voted for Lauren every single week.
Blake Shelton....i melt when i see him singing and Carrie Underwood is my favor all time.
I love all type of music (almost)
good morning
It's still cold, my throat is itchy......other than that life is good

I am stuck in this boot for another week. I am so pissed I can't see straight. Apparently there was a message on our answering machine saying they needed to reschedule my appt. I never got the message. This is why a qualify everything I say. Nothing ever happens when it's supposed to happen or they way it is supposed to happen. So I'm at church yesterday telling people I'm losing the boot Monday. This is so stupid.
-
Chris....i'm sending you a warm hug from NY.♥♥
-
Bummer Chris, you should call them all week bugging them for a cancellation appt. I've done this and it works sometimes.
It will eventually get cold here, I hear it's coming, but for right now we are a balmy 65 outside. I am enjoying it while it lasts because I do not like cold. Took off today to spend with DD who has a school holiday. We are going to the movies even though I still hurt all over (from my Neulasta shot or chemo or something). Have I ever mentioned how much I hate chemo? My heart goes out to all those who have had to do it multiple times. There are some strong, brave women out there.
Hope everyone has a great day. Stay warm!!
-
Thanks for the hug.
Judy - did you take anything for the Neulasta pain? Some people take Claritin. I just took ibuprofen and it helped me. One time I didn't take it right away and I felt like I had bad flu-like body aches, but once I took the ibuprofen, I felt much better. Hope you have fun at the movies! 65 out - sounds heavenly. It was a nasty 20 degrees here this morning. Should warm up into the balmly 30's this afternoon - lol.
-
I agree! What a bummer Chris. Keep calling everyday and ask if they've had a cancellation. Hope they do!
Enjoy the time with your daughter Judy. And please send some of the warm weather my way!
Going to the gym later, hoping to see Ducky there.
-
Judy...i wasn't even told about the SE of Neulasta. The first night pain was so bad i was up all night.
2 days later when I saw my Oncologist he tells me oh that's from Neulasta some Advil would help you. And how am i suppose to know that...hugs
Chris....Sorry but please stay home no more accidental fallings please.....

Horrible memories of neulasta. Even the itching at the injection site! I remember the last few chemos I was in tears trying to convice them no more Neulasta. My bursitis is acting up and reminds me of the pain, except it is localized.
Sheila, it is my baby getting married. Last night we had a birthday dinner for his fiance. Threw the diet out the window for that one meal. We had Roast pork tenderloin with apples, sauted cabbage, red potatoes, brocolli with hollandaise and the best Champagne cake ever.
DS2 is dating a nice young woman, but I hope it is awhile before they make any decisions for the future. DS3 and his fiance have been engaged fro 2 years but dating since 2005. They have been getting their ducks in a row before they set a date.
-
Good evening. Raining here. What a winter!
Sounds like a nice night and dinner Meece!

I was here at 8:56

I'm here.
I try to visit my Dad 2 to 3 times a week, Sunday is his Birthday, he will be 84. Tonight I watched him and in my opinion I think his dementia is worsening. I was pleased though, I asked him, "Who am I?" He said, Deborah. When he forgets the names of his children or does not recognize us, I pray to God to take him before he ends up in a nursing home. Maybe that is selfish to say but that is the way I feel. He has been in 3 different types of nursing/rehabs and they all SUCK!!!! The last rehab he was in I wrote a letter of complaint on the care he was getting.
SO there, I have vented!

Deb...i didn't put smiley for your post. We were posting the same time.
it's difficult to watch...dementia is a terrible thing......Hugs♥
