What wonderful news, kcl
!

-
Oh kcl!!! I am SO happy for you!! You did it, woo hoot!!!!!
-
KC165: Congratulations on your job. Whoop! Whoop!
I'm still waiting, waiting, waiting. It's the hardest part for me. I keep reminding myself that I should not be anxious. I don't know what else to say or do. I just wait. Jean
-
Jean, turn that anxiety into something good, like fall cleaning!! I can sometimes do that, and at the end, at least I have something positive out of the stress.
-
Barbe: Thanks....I'll have to think about that....cleaning???????? LOL! That's good advice though. Keep busy doing other things.
I already got the PET scan results via phone call. I'm just waiting to hear what will change as far as treatment goes. My onc was going to consult with two colleagues and get back to me. I've been waiting for him to get back to me since Oct 8th. That's a lot of darn cleaning.

-
Hmm, I think I'd give him another call! He might have misplaced his notes....!!!
-
asking for prayer, that I won't get sick while I am nuetrapenic. It will be a mighty covering of God, since both my kids are sick in the house
-
KC congrats on the job; and, jean.. cleaning does work on my anxiety, when i csn muster up the strength.. of course, zumba girl.. prayers are being said in So. Fla...
i had mohs surgery on a stubborn spot on my leg.. they now are checking to get better margins and "gulp" checking to make certain its not skin mets.. the Lord is good.. i believe it to be squemous skin cancer, as many of the bouts i've had years passed.. but NOW. everything "may be..." not TOO worried, though.. not too stable, limping around on 2 feet was bad enuff...hahaha
im gonna try to keep up more here, been in bed, of course.. Meece, what kind of plant was the last picture of ?....3jays
-
It is a Chiranthodendron pentadactylon, commonly called a monkey hand tree because of the shape of the the stamens extending from the flower. The flowers were overhead, so I stood on my tip toes and reached up and started clicking pictures. This one turned out perfect as it resembles the fall, even though it was taken mid summer.
-
Barbe, Meece, Jean, and 3Jays... Thank you so much!
Jean, I'm with Barbe give him a call... 11 days is more than enough time to consult with colleagues!
Zumbagirl ~ Praying God's covering and protection over you in Jesus' name!!
3Jays ~ Praying for you too!
(((((Hugs to all)))))
-
Hugs and prayers out to Zumbagirl and 3Jays.
-
thanks for the prayers, gals.. no results for awhile, but im walking much better. Mur got hit from behind in thr car yesterday, he's ok, but my poor car what a mess.. that's what ins. is for tho, right???...........3jays
-
You have a good outlook, jays. Glad you are getting about better.
Matt's friend, the older one, has been hospitalized and is in isolation. They are not sure but are considering TB. Matt went in for a test yesterday and we wait... If it is TB, this will be the second exposure for him in the past year! Today is the day he actually leaves active duty. This will be a blessing as he will now qualify for medical care from the VA. He has not been getting any medical care to speakof since returning home in July.
Hope everyone is doing well!
-
Hey as long as only the car got hurt( thank god) ((hugs))
-
Amen.
-
thanks, ladies.. he's ok. gonna go for pt for awhile. it jammed up the arthritis in his back; otherwise, my car is covered, and we have an old beater we can use till then.... 3jays
-
That's more good news. That he is not seriously hurt and that you won't be stranded without a car.
-
Thanks for your prayers. Just wanted to say that I got the mri report yesterdday and it seems that the large lump that I've had since the biopsy is just a blood clot. I am happy as it hurt and I feared with idc that it might be a tumor growing. I am also happy to say that what is left is small so it's not spreading. I know that God is keeping the cancer from spreading. I have done a lot of research and I'm now at peace with the mx with reconstruction. The thought of losing a breast has been hard. I don't think I'm doing more. I do not of yet have a surgery date. I'm seeing the Plastic Surgeon on Monday. At this point I don't care if it's right after Thanksgiving.
-
thanks for the prayers, ladies.. God is good. its' me that needs the faith, thatd' for sure.. my prayer ALWAYS is i Believe, help thou my unbelief..
Glad it all worked out ok, eve barry, will wait to hear the date of surgery.
Meece, now, i hope Matt will get proper medical attention. my prayers, as always, are with you, and yours........3jays
-
It's nice to read good news! Thank you Lord. Wanted to say hello to everyone. I did end up calling my onc office on Tuesday, and still no call. Patience. God bless. Jean
-
I am so glad to hear all the good news evebarry and meece. Will be praying for Matt. Happy you are doing well 3jays and that there was no serious injury. Will be praying for you Jean!
My first week is going well. A lot to learn, but I am thoroughly enjoying it!
Hugs to all

Well, God is not finished with this journey yet. My Oncotype numbers came back and I won the 12 week course of TC along with the Tamoxifen for 5 years. I had to remind the oncologist that the Neulasta that he uses customarily after the chemo may not be the best bet for me, as I have the secondary blood cancer (if we stimulate the white cells in the marrow, in my case we also stimulate the cancer cells that are there). He reminded me that we are in uncharted territory and there will need to be some trial and error. I am hoping the trials are small and the errors eraseable. Praying for each of you as we all face the bumps along this journey through life.
-
Laural-sorry that the onco dice didn't give you snake eyes! What did you get?
I had the Neulasta shots 4 Xs, day after each chemo treatment so I can't say how I would have been without it. I do know God has your back!!
Praying...

I really missed you Meece. How are you/
