OK, I have this thread in my favorites (since it does not appear in active topics) and lo and behold....GONE. This really pi$$es me off. What the heck is going on? Has BCO kowtowed to the a-holes who denigrate BCO on the review website? I am really not getting this..

Blue, I'm late, but congratulations on getting a new son-in-law. Take a picture of the ring and show us. Yes,I'm nosey!! Had a great weekend with high school friend. I was exhausted when she left on Sunday. Was not ready to go back to work  yesterday after a week off.

I do not go to "that" sight. I don't believe most of what is written, so will not waste my blood pressure meds by reading the crap.

    Blue, have a good holiday.

This thread still comes up on my favorites, so it must be a glitch, Barbara.

    Blue, enjoy your time away.

Jancie, I'm sorry your dentist visit was so awful, and I'm glad you're done. I have always said I would rather give birth without drugs( and I have, twice) than go to the dentist.

Weeellll, looks like I'm a minority of one who's laughing her petals off at the Review site, and the fiction being spewed - and remember, folks, no body but the reviewers, and their posse read it.  Zilch, nada, nobody.

Understand why Blue is angry, really I do - and I used to be, but honest, it just shows how SICK, really, it is a sickness, the few women who are posting "reviews" are - OCD on steroids.  And definitely don't realize how funny they are.  It could be one person, signing in with different emails. The site is a shambles.

BLUE - have a wonderful, wonderful time, rest, recoup, REJOICE, and we will welcome you back with good jokes on your return.

Hope everyone sleeps well, good dreams, Valerian Root, or dry sherry is always nice.  See you all tomorrow ( except for Blue who will be out having FUN!) Smile

OK, just went to the site, and now I really AM laughing!  Big Pharma.  You gotta be kidding????  Now where on these boards have we heard that expression before. Truly, most of my posts on treatment threads are about the value of ACUPUNCTURE, about how being gluten free has eliminated my joint pain - don't even need ibeprofen anymore!    Ya just gotta know where that "review" was coming from, neigh I say more?????

Sleep well everyone, have it on good authority the sun will probably rise in the East tomorrowTongue out

(((((Blue)))))) -- have a great trip!  And congratulations on the engagement!  You're probably gone already and won't see this until you get back!  I won't be here much either (and obviously haven't been for a few days) -- massive work project.  Can barely glance at any non-work stuff...

    ((((((Jancie)))))))  hope you're feeling better.

Ann - hope you get enough time to glance at Project Runway tomorrow.

Second successful non medicated night of good quality sleep in a row! I am celebrating it because I know it won't last.

CraizyDaisy - we are still having weather in the 80s here. I would trade climates with you in a heartbeat!

Jancie, I hope you are feeling ok today.

E - agreed - big pharma should pay ME! Wink Hope you made it home all right.

I think at this point, once personal computers, iPhones and the like have been used to post silly reviews on that site, and the devices in question have been identified remotely and forbidden from returning to the site, half of the computers in the San Francisco public library system will probably be prevented from visiting that site once the person is done going from station to station opening accounts, posting comments and presumably being denied re-entry.

Which, if true, makes me happy, if it means that site ceases to be accessible to more people. So maybe everyone is being done a favor in the end. Wink It's funny and sick and tragic.

ATHENA....Darn god thing I didn't have a mouthful of tea in my mouth when I read your post.  Would have spewed all over the keys.  Feel sorry for that person. Seems when baby was busted, it hit the fan. But the  vicious anger, and why here, there are so many other "friendship" threads on BCO, the person could have participated in any of the ones she didn't hate so much.

Well, I hope I have helped many women taking Arimidex, with all I've learned on how to manage the worst of the side effects. It's a daily 'art" managing how to live as fully as possible, with some limitations, and continued appreciation, grateful to the depths of my toes to have the option of taking an AI, to have a resource of women who so understand what it's like to live with at least one of the "diseases" I've encountered in life.  THANK YOU ALL for you support, kindness, HUMOR, HUMOR, HUMOR, and intelligence, wit, good ideas, inspiration ( any news yet, Barbara?) - and persistence - (good luck on current projects Ann) - the long , (long flight back to Aussie Land  SusieQ) - and (Jancie, how's your not there any more tooth?)

It's really lovely, being retired, and living in such wonderful little community, fortunate I'm within a mile of the "Verizon" connection so I can have DSL - means being able to pop in from the garden anytime and check email, read the news, and always have a connection to the world, even in this wooded, farm filled, hilltown eden.

Hope eveyone has a wonderul day!  Keep the popcorn ready, looks like we're getting new installments.  THANKS again, Athena - hope it stays cool in your patch too.

Woo hoo. I actually have a day off and can just sit at home. I was gong to say and do nothing but there is a sink full of dishes, a flower girl dress to make, a grandbaby due yesterday and a bag to pack to go see them when it comes, a carpet full of cat hair and chicken soup to make for dinner.

I need to go do something now but I will be back off and on during the day if anyone else is around.

I am so happy at the state of affairs at breastcancer.org when I see what goes on at other websites. Some places have real catfights (okay not real ones but the tone at some places is mean and ugly). I have done a lot of websurfing this morning. That's the only kind of surfing you will see me do anymore!

Sunflowers, as I said yesterday, maybe there should be a thread in which we say thank you every day to any organ in our body that is NOT giving us trouble. Maybe you have good eyesight? Good sense of smell? Or maybe nothing as comprehensive as a whole organ works, so we can say "thank you" to our left index finger for not hurting. Seriously (and not so seriously) all of the health nonsense could be turned around to some humorous effect.

So I will say thank you to my feet today - so far, no problems! Wink

Wow, I've missed a lot!  It seems I left one kind of dizziness (true vertigo) and have returned to be "dizzied" here.  I'm trying to catch up but there's no way I'll remember everything so please forgive me for mentioning only a few things that did stick in my head.

Thanks to all for the good wishes.

Lewing, I'm glad to hear your daughter is a happy nerd and enjoying college. Also think I remember Enjoyful's daughter being another happy nerd which also makes me happy. (We nerds have to stick together)

Athena, I'm really glad to hear you're getting some decent sleep...now if it could just become routine.

Jancie, wow you've been through a lot lately.  I hope your tooth (or really the spot where the tooth was) heals quickly.

Susie, it's been nice reading about your trip.  What wonderful memories you'll have!

    Blue, have a wonderful trip!

Ann, sorry you're so busy at work.

Barbara, sending out hopeful wishes for your job prospect.

And to everyone - hello!  I've missed you all.

Athena, that really made me laugh.  I will now sit and contemplate and try to come up with thanks for the appropriate organs/systems/parts that are currently serving me well.

Athena .. I'm going to say thank you to my hands today.  They're pretty scarred up from skin cancer, but they afford me a living and my fingers type really fast!  My nails are beautiful and long.  So today, I celebrate my hands.

    hugs,

    Bren

Well so far today my heart is beating at an appropriate rate, my kidneys are good, digestive system appears to be functioning smoothly, the neuropathy in my feet and legs seems to be at low ebb and my butt doesn't hurt.  Give me another 20 minutes sitting here and those last items will probably be knocked off the list.

    Athena,

you really make me giggle!  honestly, just a delight to think of the things you invite us to think about. Ok. I am SO, SO, SO grateful for all the work that thousands of people have done to bring treatment of bc to where it is today, and we are able to access that knowledge and new treatments.  That's tops, cuz otherwise I wouldn't be here.

Grateful for Zeiss Individual Progressive eyeglass lenses.  The leaves on the trees in the distance are crisp & clear, and I can read too.  Thanks to the Oticon folks for making the latest hearing aids with teeeny, weeeny little receivers in the ear,  a computer chip behind the ear progams to amplify only the sounds I can't hear ( the high tones, fade with age) couldn't  hear the birds chirping - so NOW I can hear birds chirping, and the lovely night sounds of cicadas, ( when it isn't the 17 year routine!) spring peepers, and rustling trees.

Already said about being grateful for Aromatase Inhibitors, and also tho I don't take it, to Herceptin for keeping so many of the woman I know alive! Blessings and thanks to my Acupuncturist who keeps me joint pain free, and to my massage therapist who showed me my neck CAN move in both directionsTongue out

Oh, so much to be grateful for.  Losing 15 pounds since my last doctor's appt., so the next 6th month check up should be one of Praise :)  Still about 15 to go, if not more.

Grateful for seeing the sun rise in the east this morning, and hopefully will be here to watch it set in the west ( HUGE glowing RED ORANGE ball last night) tonight.

    HAPPY GRANDBABY, ROSEMARY!!!!
