Another summer lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake?

I got a sneak peek before they took it down. What a good-looking bunch of women! The only one I would have recognized without the caption was Sugar, who looks absolutely wonderful with her big head of dark hair. I wondered where Cookiegal was as she was mentioned elsewhere but didn't appear in the group photo. Maybe she was the one behind the camera?
-
What a beautiful group of women!!! I'm sure you all had a great time!
-
Cookiegal was taking pictures with everyone's camera! And the one above is Yan's. He is a pro, can't you tell?
-
And thanks to everyone for their delicious contributions to the potluck lunch !!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hey, I look just like my avatar!!! I was recognized without a name tag too.
I got to eat all the baklava with my DH yesterday. OMG it was SO good!!!! You guys missed out as I had to bring it back home. Next year, fruit.
-
I don't think screen names would be breaking any rule would it? I wouldn't want my real life name up there, but my bco name is okay. Did the mods have bco names or real names?
-
They were our BCO names. But most of us have identified ourselves by description on this thread.
-
And some of us have been stalked in the past ...
-
Yikes!!! I've been stalked on this board, but not in real life.....
-
I even pointed myself out, and I'm on a hitlist! LOL!
-
BCO ladies give the BEST hugs!!!!
-
Blue you are a magnet for trouble anyways!!
-
Maybe people will back off when they realize we're human...just like them!
-
PIP, I know....going to get the tatoos this weekend. Full arms. What do ya think? Might go well with the scooter!
-
Barbe, I'm not human....I'm Andorian and I have the antennae to prove it!
-
I wasn't hoping you wouldn't notice that comment. And I DID see your control panel - you proved it!!!
-
I'm sorry I missed the baklava, Barbe! But I was just too stuffed (after two helpings of PiP's four-grain salad! among other things). As for Rosemary's brownies, I could only sample (swipe) a raspberry from the top of one! (Earning Yan's comment that that was something one of his boys would do! I guess I'm more than just a "child at heart"!)
-
Rosemary's brownies were AMAZING!!! Cream cheese icing and chewy, chocolate upon chocolate....YUM!!!!! And the button cookies were a TREAT too!!! I gave honours to everything that was brought. Certainly didn't have dinner when I got home!
-
Ann, it was a SEVEN grain salad. No wonder you were full!
-
DH loved Rosemary's brownies and the button cookies, and wants me to get the recipe for both! Oh dear, see what you guys have started?
-
Oh, no wonder -- 2 helpings of 7-grain salad = no room for more than 1 dessert!!!
-
Whoever made the spinach salad I think I ate most of it.
-
Mumayan, whatever you didn't eat of the spinach salad I think I ate!
Barbe, we are all AWESOME HUGGERS!
I had a spoonful of the 7-grain salad, which is probably why I could only fit in a taste of Rosemary's brownies!
I think I'm still full ...

HL, yes unfortunately some have been stalked....just stinky!
-
Looks like this is becoming another food thread.
-
Yep, it's all about the food! I loved that 7 grain salad btw! Everything was very tasty.
-
I loved those little butter cookies Linda made. Yummy!
And as full as we "mericans" were, we still went out to dinner that night!! Along with Lassie, who is a hoot I might add. I was her copilot and she bought me some famous Hortons coffee. It was wonderful!
I really miss everyone .. it's so quiet here with Tim gone and nobody to chitchat with!
I won't get my pics back for about a week, but when I do, I'll post them here. I think I took about 50 pics altogether.
hugs to all,
Bren

I think KK would have been LOVING the chocolate decadence cake. It was three layer chocolate cake with fudge icing. And I know Olga would have enjoyed it as well. Linda sent some home with Yan for the boys. Yum. Hoo boy, though, Rosemary those brownies were to die for. I am making those bad boys. Thanks for the recipe. DH says 'do NOT make those.' I say 'I AM making them, so there.' Problem is, I will eat one and he eats the rest. Hee hee.

PiP -
I NEED the recipe for that 7-grain salad. I had two helpings of it!
-
And there was a little bit left over -- guess what I had for lunch?!!!! Along with the tabbouleh made with quinoa and the potato salad. These are the delicious little perks of entertaining... LEFTOVERS!!
