Another summer lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake?
Hi friends! It was so great to finally meet and greet so many bc sisters last August, that it seems we should do it again! And new sisters are most welcome, of course!
I'm suggesting a Sunday in August, and if you're game, let me know which Sunday is NOT possible for you.
Hope to hear from you soon!

I just found this thread - and would love to see people again. My schedule is pretty flexible.
-
Enjoyful had a good suggestion -- let's make it an opportunity for us to celebrate the memory of our dear bc sister KonaKat (Elizabeth).
Last year we toasted her in chocolate. This year we can raise our Lindt squares lovingly in her memory.
Just to add: New sisters are welcome too!
-
I am free any time, any place - I want to meet you all.
Sandy

My passport is valid!!!
-
Just set a date.
-
Just have to check when the Peach Festival is in August. Would that weekend suit everyone, or should we choose the week prior/after?
-
I would love to come during the peach festival.
-
So far I'm good for ANY Sunday and a doctors' appointment can NOT conflict with a Sunday. Count me in!!!!
Linda, link this link on the Canadian thread most of us are on...
-
Looks like the peach festival is August 13-14. http://www.johnsgate.com/niagara_on_the_lake_bb_events.htm

Trust a NYC gal to find out what's going on in my home town! So.......August 14 it is!
Barbe sweetie, if I knew how to link it, I would! Tell me how!
-
Let's see if I can.....it'd be my first time, if it works!
-
I'm in!
-
Hi ladies if I am in town I will be there.but August is a long way off yet for me to say.
-
I'm good for August 14. I'll bring a bag so I can buy lots of peaches. Looking forward to it. Linda, thank you for hosting us again. Would you like a potluck and we can each bring something?
-
Hi ladies - I'm good for the 14th and would love to see everyone again!
-
I'm technically a "newbie" but would love to meet up with others in the area. Sherri--we could perhaps car pool from Mississauga!
-
Rachel - that sounds like a good plan!
-
I didn't go last year...but would love to join in - I can carpool with sugar and rachel!
-
Wow -- Great to hear from you all!
I'm thinking that this year we'll do a potluck -- cold dishes, appetizers, whatever you do best! I'll do the drinks and the protein end (cold meats, smoked salmon). The U.S. gals who are flying into Buffalo and driving up to NOTL can pay for the cake (chocolate, of course, cuz we're honouring dear KonaKat (Elizabeth's memory) which I'll order from our local wonderful bakery, Willow Cakes & Pastry.
How does that sound to you all? Oh, I'm so excited to meet the new gals!
-
I've PM'd a bunch of them and linked this thread. Hope we get a whole bunch!!!
-
Looks like we're also having 4 American sisters join us too!
-
Linda .. I'm going to do my best. I love you guys. Going to see about getting a passport tomorrow. And hopefully joining the gals flying into Buffalo. Even if I can't make it .. I'm going to chip in for the cake in memory of dear Elizabeth.
hugs,
Bren

Maybe
-
Pam - yes, we'll carpool. Glad to hear you're going this year!
-
Anyone want a passenger from Burlington? I'll pay for gas....
Sandy
-
In case I come, I'll be able to pick-up at least 3 people on my way from Thornhill.
-
I've been away and just heard about Elizabeth on this thread - OMG, I am shocked and sad beyond belief. She was such a life force and a wonderful contributor to these boards.
I'd be happy to meet up in Niagara and raise a glass in her honour. August 14 should work, though I have to firm up a family vacation date. Coming from central TO and can pick up along the route west.
Linda, thanks for hosting again.
-
-
PJ, we'll meet at your house if you can't make it over to Linda's...okay?? hehehehehehee
-
Yes. Definitely I would like to come. If a date is picked soon I can ask to be booked off at work.
