Absolutely, an invasion, The Americans are coming, the Americans are coming - lock up the valuables, seal the wine cellar, and for goodness sakes, HIDE THE CHOCOLATE

-
I thinking that perhaps lindasa should see about getting one of our handsome mounties to be on guard!
-
Ha Ha SunflowerinMa so very funny. In joy the invasion.
-
Oooohhh...forgot about the Mounties - those gorgeous mounties- and KK's McDreamyDoc will be there in spirit to. Yeah, Chocolate

Kknow there will be lots of tears and SMILES - fun to think of all of them. Can't wait to see pictures.
-
Make sure there are lots of pictures.
-
It's okay PiP -- I like to think most of the ones coming are wannabe Canadians! And we outnumber them, so I say "Let's convert them"!
Today was beautiful here, nice breeze, sunny and not a drop of rain, so I'm sure they're having a wonderful time in Niagara Falls (although they're probably getting wet at the Falls!!!).
-
Thinking of you all - sunflowers lol! Let's show our American might here.
Wondering how everyone is settling in at the hotel. Lindasa, I gather that is is at your house? At what time is everyone supposed to be there?
-
Athena, next time, we can have KEY LIME PIE. Some of our FLA friends can bring FRESH KEY LIMES, ah, Key LIme Pie and real, real Chocolate...yum, yum, yum. Hope everyone is having a wonderful time, and taking PICTURES. Hugs all around.
PS. Athena, also hope ou're feeling better, and sl-e-e-e-e-ping well too.
-
Thank you, sunflowers, I am doing much better.
Floridians would laugh if they knew what passes for key lime pie up in these parts...
-
We are eating lunch at NOTL. It is not raining (yet). And
Much chatting. -
It wasn't 23 hours in one leg we had 2 hours in Dubai but that was after 14hrs non stop!!!
I'm drinking a glass of pinot griggio in Elizabeth's honour.
Grandbaby really cute - he's actually smiled at us
Very tired - did the hop on hop off bus tour today - loved it. Also went and saw Jersey boys in the West End last night OMG!!!!! Absolutely fantastic. As each song started I cried - I just loved it!!!!!!!
I quite like London, but couldn't live here - our hotel is awesome!!!!
Miss you girls

Hi there...I've never posted on this thread before. I wanted to stop by to say hi to all the new ladies I met a today's get together in Niagara-On-The-Lake. It was wonderful to see familiar faces again and meet many of you for the first time.
-
Welcome Sugar - it was great to meet you today - glad you found our "spot".
Lindasa - Many, many thanks to you and your husband for welcoming us all into your beautiful home and taking such good care of us - it was a wonderful day.
Hugs, Sandy
-
Oh, Sugar, we're all jealous - at least those of us who didn't get to be there. Hope you had a wonderful time. Will Canada let Americans still visit
Is there any chocolate left in the country???? -
I'm so glad you all had a great time. Looking forward to the pics.
-
Yes, Americans are still welcome - No, there is no chocolate left.
Sandy
-
Ahh, I'm sitting down to a bowl of Niagara peaches for dessert tonight! Doesn't get much better than this....
-
Welcome Sugar. It was an honour to meet you today! Pip, I love your sense of humour! You are one funny lady. I would like to keep my American friends. Take them all home with me. Sandy, you're a doll. And Lassie, what can I say! You all got to meet the Evil Blue today and her side-kick Virgil. Can't wait for barb to post some pics. My camera is dead.
Lindasa, thank you again!
Just got home and am exhausted, so will ttyl.
-
Wow! I hope there are photos. A new day in Canadian-US cross-border relations. I take it from the mostly silence that everyone had a great day. I've been wondering for weeks what NOTL was
. I thought it was another secret code. -
I am so glad that you ladies had a great time at NOTL! It is so wonderful when you finally meet the ladies that you have been corresponding with for years.
I am going to the 3rd Annual TaTa Sisterhood Reunion in Las Vegas. There are 64 of us getting together. We started the first year with 25, the second year I believe there was 52 and now the third year the group is even larger. It is so much fun to get all those limos lined up and we go as a group to the planned events.
-
My older son is eating a slice of that fabulous chocolate cake. Elizabeth must be happy.
-
Got back about half an hour ago from a wonderful -- just far too short -- weekend in NOTL. Now that I've discovered it's only 4 hours of driving time (with the wait at the border a wild card - it was an hour this evening, yikes), I will for sure be going back. It was wonderful to see everyone -- you're all just as much fun in real life as you are online, and for all that technology does for us, real hugs are still WAY better than cyberhugs.
Sugar, so nice of you to drop by this thread! I really enjoyed meeting you.
(Jancie, I hope you have as much fun in Vegas as we did in NOTL. When is the big reunion there?)

Yan, I'm glad the leftovers are being put to good use!

-
Sugar - welcome. So glad to have you all "back" ....waiting for details, photos, etc... Very dull but relaxing weekend for me.
-
Blue - I loved meeting you and your beloved fur babies - they are the CUTEST.
Yan - glad your son is tucking into that cake - wasn't it the best?
Sorry I don't have any pictures to share - I am NOT a photographer - don't even own a camera anymore - it's freeing somehow.
I just ate a peach - wonderful - I'm still full from lunch so guess I'll just curl up and go to sleep it was a wonderful day.
-
Oh, I wish I could have been there, but it's just too far from Seattle.

I also raised a glass to KK today.

There is a thread in the Get Togethers Forum called the 3rd TaTa Sisterhood Reunion. Details on that first post but it is the first week of October. We start on Friday and fly out on Monday except I (along with a number of others) am arriving on Thursday to get in an extra day for the party.
Sorry I didn't have anything to drink in KK's honor but if ice tea works - that is what I had tonight but I did have two beers last night and was thinking about her.
I want to see pictures!!!
-
Yan's picture is wonderful - now all we need is a pm with the "secret code"
Start saving the chocolate for next year. Rest, and then share. Hugs to all. Smiles, and tears, my favorite pic of KK next to the cake.
-
Hi gals we are in the buffalo airport waiting. The reason for silence is the dreaded data\cell roaming. Do I have pix?!! Already some up on FB but I will post after I get home this afternoon. Such fun! Linda thanks to you and your husband for being so gracious.
-
With me are Annnyc, bren, soon happylibby and Enjoyful.
