Checking in with the Flock:
Missed the last 2 weeks for vacation, back to work stresses, more medical appointments.
Did great with activity during vacation, but can't remember how much I did, ate a lot but still no weight gain, drank lots of water, enjoyed family. Missed a couple of Friday check-ins.
Today spent from 8 am to 1 pm for "routine follow-up" that turned into mega-session, another ultrasound, and more appointments for biopsy, PET scan, and etc. Just had a mammogram last month that looked clear, the MRI this week is not.
Missed my tap dance class today because of this.
Tomorrow is another day.... will try to get back into some activity and better frame of mind.
Zogo and Ainm, you are awesome!!! Good work!!!

Hi everyone... been in a "coop" for a while. Now seeing the light of day. I have been tracking the exercise, water and weight while I've been gone on the sabbatical. The weight is up - 1 1/2 lbs since the last check in but I've done really well with the water and exercise. Went to the gym today and took one of the classes. She really kicked butt.... couldn't keep up with everything but tried my darnedest. Will have to take Advil to get through the night
I'm thinking.
Will check in officially next friday since I've got my "down" time behind me. Glad to see everyone is doing so well with the program.
-
Good to see you back Samsue!!
-
An exremely tardy Robin checking in (family was in town)....so not a good week....weight up....exercize zip......I didn't even make Friday check-in!
I get 7 points for water though!
-
It's only Tuesday, I'm soooo hoping I can get down to the 170's by Friday. I haven't seen those numbers since I was in the hospital for Diep flap in December. I was so nauseous from the pain meds, I could barely eat. Before that, it was late 2009. I'm only 0.6 lbs away.....This will be a big deal!!!
-
You can do it zogo - each time one of us has a success it helps the others so your success will be our motivation!!! Hope it goes well for you.
-
Go, Zogo!!!! You can do it!!!!
-
Thanks for the encouragement my dear ladies! It really does help to have a place to actually write down the numbers from the scale and be accountable. I'm down a tad this morning, but not quite there yet. I'm still crossing my fingers and drinking my water!
Samsue, welcome back to the flock!
Linda, I've been thinking of you, how were the results of your tests/scans?
-
Zogo, thanks for asking. There are just a lot of unknowns right now. Abnormal MRI, abnormal US, biopsy and PET scheduled next week and the week after. Have requested referral to a new PCP as the current one requires a dose of xanax just to go in to see her.
So won't know a lot for a couple of weeks, so am just taking one day at a time, breathing, managing to do some water aerobics, yoga, and walking in the sunshine, putting materials ready to start classes next week. Have had many "moments of grace" this week, spirits are good. My garden is producing fresh cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, how much healthier can I get???
May not make top numbers this week, but so far am coming in not too much of a slouch, either!! Keep on being active, eating right, and focusing on the important things. Lovingkindness to all of you.
Linda
