Another summer lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake?

I'll be in shorts and a top. Cookie, wear what's comfiest!
-
Bren, skirts and dresses are part of my summer uniform, so you may not be the only one in a dress!
So excited to see everyone!
-
Happy NOTL everybody,
I'll be wearing green ( envy) and looking forward to see pictures. Have a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time together. KK will be smiling and laughing with you. So sweet of you to have Special Chocolate Cake.
Enjoy. Sunflowers

You girls are so organized. I will not decide what to wear until I look in my closet that morning. However, I am sure that it will NOT be a dress! I have only worn one in the last two years!
-
Jeans and a t-shirt. LOL.
-
oh - mine is not a function of organization PiP - it's all there is!
-
Just a thought for the NOTL lunch...
If someone at the lunch has a laptop and WiFi connection, you could log on to the Staying Connected chat room here on BCO, and those who can't attend in person could chat in real time.
Get to chat from http://www.breastcancer.org/community/chat_rooms/ - you can log in using your name and password from the discussion boards.

Judith and the Mods:
Thanks for the idea - I am sure someone will have a laptop with them.
Bren:
I am NOT wearing a skirt because that would require buying one - I stopped wearing them some time ago - I'll be wearing capris and whatever happens to be ironed (or not too wrinkled) on top.
Yan:
Glad you're NOT wearing a skirt LOL!

Linda, do you have wifi and a laptop at your place?
-
hrf -- No, I don't have WiFi. I have a Mac which is a type of laptop, with a separate keyboard and mouse.
sandy -- the gals who are doing the N'Falls bit are coming from various cities in the U.S. and are meeting at the place they're staying, and then going to see the Falls sometime on Saturday. They're all coming in at different times, and don't know when they'll be going to the Falls.
-
Sandy, are you staying at the Conference Center in NOTL? I'll PM you...
-
BinVA...I think I will make the falls visit just a hubby and me thing. I kind of want to just informally renew our vows after all we have been through. But if you see us making out stop by and say hi:)
-
Cookiegal .. If I see you and hubby making out ... I'm not going to bother you! Have a wonderful second honeymoon!
See you this weekend,
Bren
-
I can just see the Falls on Saturday, a bunch of capri-wearing woman eye-balling every women they see....you guys should get a secret nod going or something!

Bren
-
Canadians don't go to the Falls, it's all 'mericans....
-
Would it be helpful if we sent you a banner that has BCO on it??? We would need it returned, but could be helpful?! Let us know as soon as possible, so we could get it out right away.
-
That is a lovely idea. Thank you, Moderators! I'll send you a PM with the mailing address.
-
what a great idea about the banner and the wifi! Thanks mods!!
Can anyone get wifi? It would be so great for me to be "there" even if I am in Montreal and can't make it to NOTL? ....begging here....lol
-
I haven't been checking in on this thread (until just now), but I'm so excited!! I was originally thinking I'd bring cookies or something desserty, but it sounds like the cake will be more than enough. Would additional fruit be in order?

Linda doesn't have wireless in her house but Linda, would it be possible for you to have your computer hooked in somewhere that we can all have a look - or at least a few at a time - that would work sort of.
-
This is going to be epic!
-
I KNOW IT!
-
All right, cookies it is ... little butter cookies to go with fruit, maybe? I plan to pick up some peaches for sure.
-
Just got off the phone with Barbara .. yikes! We are so excited!!
Linda .. butter cookies sound good to me!
hugs,
Bren
-
Brownies anyone? Maybe with cream cheese icing and raspberries on top? And I will try to bring a healthy munchy too.
-
