I say yes, you say no, OR People are Strange

I have now found bits and pieces of the Muslim thread interspersed with the spirituality thread. I am ticked. I doubt any Muslim woman would be likely to find it there. I can't help thinking that was the reason for the whole hullabaloo.
Who vanishes next? Young women? Lesbians?
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

HL - your "discussion" re: the treadmills, has GOT to be made into a comedy skit for SNL. Just must. Peeing with laughter! ( oops, probably can't say that either!!)
-
I took a look at the review site this morning - came away feeling sick to my stomach. How could anyone be so f-ing screwed up? Pardon the swearing but it's warranted.
Sunflowers - glad you are still with us.

Welcome back CS.I am VERY glad you are here.I hope thenewme can come back.
This has been a truly strange day. I have PMed the mods 3 times and put up a thread Catholics are Christians. I don't usually get into things so much but this transition has been very unusual.
-
I found the Muslim threads, but still cannot find the atheist thread.
-
Well , the atheist thread has kinda been moved around...was in Just Diagnosed - not sure where it is now.
-
Well I have to leave for now.
-
((((HL)))) How absolutely aggravating! You wanted to have all of that neatly squared away. Grrrr.
Off to my club. I will have a triple of whatever upon my return.

-
Happy .. what a frustrating day you've had!
hugs buddy,
Bren

(((LIBBY))) Did you tell them about THE PLAN? And how they screwed up THE PLAN? So now you have to make a NEW PLAN? Sometimes it seems that people go out of their way to screw us up. G&T for Libby, and make it snappy!
Advice for the rest of you: Sometimes, when you post on this thread, it ends up on the Atheist thread. Just sayin'. ;-)
-
Why?
-
E
huh?????????
-
Atheist thread was in "Moving Beyond" last I checked -- about a half hour ago!
(((((((Libby))))))), so sorry about the screw-ups with your appointments! I think the barkeep better make yours a double!
Cindy -- glad your appointment yesterday went okay!
Has anyone heard from Jancie? Hope her procedure went okay... (((((Jancie))))))
-
E .. you cracked me up this morning!! I needed an espresso too!
Chaplain .. I found the atheists .. they're in the Moving Beyond forum next to the Put on a Happy Face thread. That poor thread really got moved around a lot today, and it's still not back to it's original home.
hugs,
Bren

thank you, rosemary-b QUACK
I shouldn't have done it, but went to the review site - MY WORD, it's getting worse, really bad, thenewme was justifiably ( I think) angry about being banned - and someone has POSTED the "financials" of BCO. They are really, really messing up big time with this one. Whew, glad it's not my organization. -
OK, I am back with TWO under my belt and shepherd's pie (non organic I'm sure) on the way. I need sustenance for the grueling day tomorrow, or at least that's how I justify it to myself. Too beat to roam the borad much.
-
Enjoyful - I've never seen anything copied from here to Atheist thread????? What's happening?
I know some women who post here, psot there, as do I sometimes, but nothing seems wrong, or copied, I hope.

E, they were TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS to the fact that they were MESSING UP THE PLAN!!!! I didn't kill anyone. I didn't even bellow. I did, however, tell them WHY I was having surgery and that in order to accommodate this appointment, my sole remaining professional employee changed his vacation (true). There wasn't any other way to make them feel bad, so I left. I had to sit in my car for a while to calm down.
And now the boards are messed up, too. What were they thinking? Have they never heard of a beta version and collecting opinions? Maybe that's what the treadmills were doing last Wednesday?
Another double, please!

I found the Muslim threads stuck in the Spirituality forum but they used to have their own forum, same as young women with BC, older women with BC and lesbians with BC.
And I think they ought to be put back where they were.
I can't tell if moderators have read my question re MIA part two or not. I am glad that Caerus-Sunflowers' creative thread is back. I am sad that no one else is asking where's the thread for Muslim women, at least not on the questioning thread which has some hope of drawing the attention of the moderators.
-
Thanks, all. Out of all the people in the world, you understand completely! Most people would just shrug ... You Get It! (((((everyone)))))
-
Sunflowers .. Enjoyful posted on the atheist thread this a.m. thinking she was here .. or was it the other way around. There was some confusion for her .. we suggested a double espresso for her from the Bar and Grill.

Hahaha...thanks, Bren, for explaining!
I coulda sworn I posted on this thread, though....

Ah, OK. Got it now!
Thanks for everyone's good wishes. My kitten, Lucy, has been in overdrive today, as if she's trying to cheer me up. I envy her energy. Had a breaded, but broiled boneless, skinless chicken breast for dinner tonight. (I love that Perdue has those packages that have about half a dozen fresh, boneless, skinless breasts, separately packaged, so you can pull out a few and put the rest back in the fridge. As I'm single, though, I usually end up freezing the rest.)
-
Strange Days, indeed!
I made chicken vegetable soup last night with all of the veggies from our CSA share (also known as the "communist collective") and chicken breast. I think I'll have a bowl right now. And a glass of wine.
-
I can't believe it's 7 p.m. and I still haven't figured out what to have for dinner. Maybe I'll just skip it.
Riley .. I'm sorry you lost Imp, I know it's hard and takes quite awhile to feel better. I'm glad you have Lucy to keep you company. I wish I had some of her energy too!
E .. the chicken soup sounds good!
hugs,
Bren

I just ordered room service shepherd's pie, non organic I am sure. With .... tada a Corona. Then it is bed for me.
-
Wow, hello everybody!

I'VE HAD MY POSTING PRIVELEGES REINSTATED AND BANNING REVERSED!!!! THANK YOU MODS!
WOOOHOOO - I'm so pleased to see that there is some justice. Thanks SO much for your kind words. I honestly believe the mods are working hard to get a lot of shtuff (!) straightened out, but I think we all know what a challenge *that* must be!
In BCO's defense for banning me, and to be fair, I did overreact yesterday in response to some unbelievably untrue and unkind accusations. I had asked to have my username deleted and all my old posts removed. Apparently if someone is banned versus "deleted," the person is no longer able to post but their previous posts remain, so in that respect I thank the mods for valuing my posts and "banning" instead of "deleting" me. It was a knee-jerk reaction from me, and I've since reconsidered my decision to leave.
For the moment, at least, I intend to just hang out and wait to see how the changes they're making to the boards work themselves out. For the record, I too am in favor of FEWER forums and not MORE, in order to simplify things. Thanks again!
-
(((((((thenewme))))))) So happy, happy, happy to have you back with us! Everyone is entitled to raise the roof now and then in utter frustration, but I'm delighted to know that the powers-that-be valued your common sense posts, as do we all.
