((Jancie and Cindy)))
Morning gals. Two insomniac nights. At lease Sunday night I got 4 hours. Last night I got 2. Ugh. One more day of training then I am LA bound. Then meetings/demo then home Friday. Ugh. Bye for now.
-
Good luck in LA, Barbara - bad sleeping nights are awful, aren't they?
-
Morning girls!!!
Athena - glad you slept. I find that melatonin does the trick. We can only get the homoepathic one here, so I got the 'real' one from outside the country - I love it.
Sue
-
Revkat, I LOVE the dark chocolate Klondike bars..... When I was little Grandpa alway took me to Isaly's for ice cream. Who wouldn't love Klondikes???
-
Night girls - stay safe today.
Sue

Night night, Susieq!
Saw the BEST QUOTE EVER from a congressperson, referring to the debt deal as a "sugar-coated Satan sandwich." Bwahahahahahaha!
-
Guess that's better than the 'tar baby' quote.
Morning All!
Going to be another hot one today. Off to Roanoake to meet my sis for lunch. She's loaning me her carryon suitcase for the NOTL trip! Yay! 1 1/2 weeks to go!
hugs,
Bren
-
MUCH better than the 'tar baby' quote. That's the second time a Republican used that saying - the first was by Mitt Romney. Honestly, don't people think before they open their traps?
So excited about NOTL!! *group hug*
-
So my daughter and I took an impromptu trip to the ocean yesterday. We did something that terrified us both - rented scooters and negotiated crazy traffic while riding them. We loved it! We've decided to buy two ($500 each for used ones, and they get 100 miles/gallon!) and start a bad-ass scooter gang. Who wants to join us?
-
Enjoyful .. what fun. Those scooters are a blast, we used to rent them in Lake Tahoe and drive around the lake. I think they maxed out at 35 mph. I want to be in the bad-ass scooter gang! We'll need some leathers and a patch for our jackets!
Bren
-
The scooters we rented go up to 45 mph! Woohoo! My helmet had a skull on the front. Hahahahaha!
Wouldn't that be hilarious? Leathers and jacket patches.....on scooters. :-D
-
I've got some helmets and leather jackets and vests .. just need to work on a new patch for them! ha! Tim will have a heart attack!
hugs,
Bren

Wow no computer for 2 days and
...Sunflowers, I understand
I got really bad migraines before I hit menopause. Now I get an aura(gray spot and some areas are clearer than others) and a headache that 2 ibuprofin takes care of
I DO NOT like being in time out for something somebody else did (oops more duct tape).
My side effects from Femara hit after three months( the worst were dizziness and constant muscle joint and bone pain) and since I had tried the other AIs and it had been 4 years I quit. I don't think everybody should do that but since bc is not the only train coming down the railroad track I'm tied to I opted for quality of life.
My DH goes in for a stress test today and since he is so big he has to do it again tomorow. I am not really worried, he could just have lung problem (de Nile?) but they want to rule out his heart first, He has no energy so we'll see.
Well I have to go to work.See you all later
ETA Scooter gang? I'm in.
-
We can be the "Bad Boob Riders."
-
Athena, so good to hear you had good sleep. Vital to our health.
here's an inspiring article about Giffords:
still don't know how to hyperlink here...sorry -
-
BAD. ASS. Roll up on people's houses. Paint daisies on their mailboxes. Weed their gardens. Yeah. Don't mess with us!
-
What time was Jancie's appt today? Hope she carries a big purse.
Rosemary .. hope all goes well with DH's stress test today.
hugs,
Bren
-
I love it Enjoyful! I can paint and we can get little baskets for our bad ass bikes to carry all our supplies. I love to garden too. We'll be famous .. a bunch of grannies riding around on our bad ass scooters spreading liberal love and sunshine wherever we go!
Bren
-
I want a helmet with a skull. Holding a daisy between its teeth, of course.
-
"Bad Boob Motorcyle Tard gand" I so want to join up -
-
I hereby name you a member of the BBMT, Ellie!
Edited to add: Actually, it should be BBST (Bad Boob Scooter Tard gang).
-
Bwaaahahahahaha - that's the funniest thing I've read in a LONG time, and I sooooo needed a laugh this morning!!! I'm not a granny and don't have a scooter, but I can paint a mean mailbox!
"BAD. ASS. Roll up on people's houses. Paint daisies on their mailboxes. Weed their gardens. Yeah. Don't mess with us!"
-
I'm in too. Maybe we can make our entrance at NOTL. Can't wait for the 13th.. I went out and got some shorts and stuff on Sunday. Getting my hair done this weekend and Lilah groomed on Saturday as well. You guys are gonna think that's how we look every day!
-
I'd like to have a name tag with Mr. Moronson, oops keep reading that somewhere, Mr. Morrison's pic on it. Funny how some people have no respect for the dead! Karma is a boomerang.
-
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Count me in, too! My skull on the front of my helmet will be laughing maniacally. Not sure how to paint that, but I'm sure some of the creative types will come up with something!
Blue, I need a haircut too, but I've been putting it off to give a stylist something to work with. I am recovering from the world's worst haircut in which my FORMER stylist lost her mind and cut off 4 inches when I said an inch. And made it uneven. I actually had several people ask me if I paid for it afterwards -- that's how bad it was. It took place on April 2, and I haven't cut it since .. and it is just now getting to within waving distance of my collar. Unevenly. I will be a little better styled for NOTL, though!
L
-
Yea Blue .. we'll roll up on NOTL and paint Linda's mailbox!
I got a new pair of shorts for the trip too. I need to be groomed though just like Lilah!! Not going to happen though.
Well .. I need to get ready for my lunch with sis up in Roanoke ..
hugs to all,
Bren
-
My hair hasn't been touched since I had it all shaved off for the surgery. I might even get a manicure and pedicure too. I don't need to shave though, never have had hair on my legs.
-
Have a nice lunch Bren!
-
Hahahahaha! Okay, I just have to tell you that one of the bike rental places in NOTL has added a whole fleet of battery-operated scooters to its fleet and people are renting them like crazy! I almost bought one, and then thought -- no Linda, you really need to put the pedal to the metal, not just turn the key.
-
WOW, the Gardening Grannies. Sounds almost as good as Rolling Thunder. They really make themselves known in DC . LOVE THEM. Sorry I cant make it in August, but when you paint the mailbox, please put a little sunflower on it. Weeding gardens, don't forget to save the nasturtium flowers for our salads, and the pursulane is delicious too.
Who's working on the logo?????
