Yes Britchick~
I have learned a lot from you...please stick around.
-
Britchick, don't let anyone control you. Take a break if you must, but come back. You are always welcome here.
-
Britchik,
What they ^ said. Often we find we must take a break, especially when meanspiritedness seems to be taking over. I don't want to tell you not to go, because if you must go for your own health or peace of mind, you must. But know that you have friends and admirers here, and you are always welcome. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight with us, and I hope we will see you again.
(((((Britchick)))))
Edited for typos from my damn iPad keyboard!

Just adding my sentiments to all those expressed above. You are loved and admired! Hope you stick around with us
. -
I get the need to walk away at times and regroup. (((((Britchick))))) Even so, I always come back and I hope you do the same thing. If anything come here where everyone is nice. I don't spend much time on other threads - I am mainly here at this one.
-
britchick
forgot to tell you how much I APPRECIATE what you post - you will ALWAYS have a warm, warm welcome here, and we're eager to learn more & more from you.
PLEASE rest, don't take ANY of the "hostility" to heart, tho' I know that's easier to say than to do, and know you are WELCOME and RESPECTED by many, many women who read these boards.
-
britchick, I respect your need to walk away for awhile. I hope you come and post. Most of us appreciate your intelligence, advice and your desire to help.
-
Hi Britchick, yeah...what they said! You'll be missed, but we absolutely understand your decision! Come back whenever you can, and enjoy the respite! HUGS! (pm sent)
-
To the Moderators - If you read the posts above this one you will see another wonderful intelligent woman is being driven away from these boards by a few nasty individuals. For all of our sakes, why can't you permanently rid of us those who constantly attack others for no reason. I also see you have removed the thread about being careful of what you read on the web from the Alternative/Complementary and Holistic forum for no reason. That thread was giving really good information until it was attacked by the minority who I mention above. Maybe it's time for a mass walkout of the women here who are genuine in wanting to help newcomers.

(((britchick))) I totally get it. Hugs gal pal. See you! And I will!
Athena, not 100% yet. -
Susieq's note reads like a petition - which I agree with. Maybe we should all sign it. Here is my paw print:
-
Athena - LOL!!!!
-
I am real tired of it, too. Heading off to free range chicken sauted with EVOO, then white wine with garlic, Vidalia onions and tons of garlic. Add fresh spinach and mushrooms and a baked red ptotato. Yes!

Was thenewme's thread on the Alternative Forum deleted? This is getting out of hand.

BTW Girls - I also sent what I said above in a PM to the moderators.
Cheryl - yes it is out of hand - I can't believe they continue to allow it.
-
They are coming out of the woodwork, duplicate ID's and all. And I'm talking about oldies. What a hoot!
-
mmmmm...BarbaraA~
Can I come over for dinner? Too bad I live in Virginia...
It's spaghetti and meatballs here.
-
Some people are wearing on my very last nerve. I'm off to the bar for a couple strong ones.
-
Tacos here. Not much energy tonight. Might have something to do with the fact I woke up evry hour last night. I don't know why.
-
Well, we're off to dinner at one of our favourite restaurants to celebrate 41 years of putting up with each other! (Okay, most of the time we've been in a state of wedded bliss). By the way, would you believe I was only 12 when I got married? No, I didn't think so.....
-
I'm not even going to tell you guys what I ate for dinner. Just that Tim is back on the road ... enough said.
I got run off that other thread because I was asking a question about estrogen levels. Instead of getting a reasonable response, my reason for even being there was questioned because I'm not taking an AI right now. Who needs that crap. I can look up the info myself. Talk about bullies.
Bren
PS .. Ang .. I'm in VA too!
-
Linda .. congrats on 41 years. How wonderful for you! Enjoy your dinner out tonight!
Bren
PS .. Chaplain, please have one for me.
-
Congratulations, Lindasa and Mr. Sa !!!!!!!
CherrylH, I'll have a double!
-
Bren, I find the insistence over there on people posting their DX tagline quite disturbing. What business is it of theirs if you choose not to share that info publicly? You are not required to post that information to join, nor are you required to reveal it if you would rather keep it private. It makes me wonder waht they might want to use it for? It is none of their business!
L -
Lindasa, congratulations! Enjoy your special dinner and special evening!
L -
Linda
Congratulations!
-
Linda Happy Anniversary. I'll toast you with my ginger ale!
-
Blue - what did your post on the other thread that got deleted say?
-
I think it said simply: "This thread is getting very interesting.
