    I'll post a pic of myself so you can see what I look like ... hopefully Barbara will be able to find me at the airport! 

    Nametags are a good idea with both names on them.

    Wow! This is turning into a really big event. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with some and meeting lots of new folks. Linda, if it's a nice day we can also sit outside if that makes things easier for you. So this will be our second annual NOTL reunion.

    Yes, we had nametags last year.  I'll try to find ones that stick better!!!  hrf -- so glad you're planning to join us!

    I'm so hoping it will be a pleasant day, so that we can spread out onto the deck.  We have a fan out there, but it's not the same as a nice cool breeze off the river.

    Now look Blue, you may be just as beautiful as Scarlett, but you DO NOT look exactly like her!  And that dress, dahlin' is just OVER THE TOP, bless your heart!Wink  I'm expecting no one to be better dressed than I, and I will be wearing shorts and a t-shirt.  So there!!!

    OMG...I just thought of something....does our hostess have a cat? I am terribly allergic. I can always sit outside or by an open window. Sorry to be a PITA!

    Yes, she has two cats.  If it's any help, they hid almost the entire time last year! 

    And it's not PITA-ish to bring up allergies, silly woman.  :-)

    Hiya Bren!

    I reserved the room but didn't book the flight yet.  I was waiting to see what HL's plans were, but it sounds like she and her DH are coming together, one way or another, so I'll go ahead and book the flight and get a car rental.  What time Friday?  Um....probably late afternoon/evening.  When do you and Barb get in, Bren?

    E, dunno yet.  All depends on surgery schedule.  DH talked about driving (wanted to know if you were coming with us -- it would be in Piggy & back seat is small in cab-and-a-half), but then asked me to check into flights.  I've been thinking about flights and not being able to raise my arms above my head and am thinking that I can't do that by myself. 

    I really, REALLY hope I hear today about the surgery.   Then all will become clear.  Don't lose out on a cheap flight because of me!

    No worries, HL!!  Take your time making your decisions and I'll make mine by the end of next week if I don't hear from you.  The important thing is that you make the best decisions for YOU.  My flight plans are pitifully trivial by comparison.  :-)

    Love you too!  And you WILL hear from me well before then ... I'll be posting (and calling!) as soon as I get a surgery date.  I'm thinking if they push it to the first week in August, I'll pitifully beg them to make it the third week and let me go.  Surgery days are usually Tuesday and Friday, so Tuesday 8/16 would be perfect!  (I made conference center reservations too, and I'm still keeping the car reservation just in case.)  I would think the universe would want to make it up to me and let me go to NOTL in exchange for having a recurrence.  Sounds logical to me!

    E .. Barbara and I arrive on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.   She's renting an SUV so there will be plenty of room.

    Our plan is to hopefully hook up with the others when we arrive and visit the falls!

    Blue - yes!  We'll all be together and wreaking havoc in the hallways.  I say we build a blanket fort and charge admission.  :-)
