Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

goldie0827,
That's great news about Ralph. He didn't get much screen time but I really liked him. He seems like a straight up guy. He has my best wishes for a great life and I would love to see him back on Survivor.
I don't know how Rob could have played any different once they were down to the six players of the alliance. At that point he had to lie or the rest of them would have voted him out.
-
That is sweet of you Notself. We have not met Ralph, he and my husband had the same great grandfather....or something like that. But we should get to meet him this fall, as that is where my husbands first cousin (Mac) lives, Mac is friends with Ralph (Lebanon VA) but the two them (Ralph and Mac) are not related..........how funny is that! Ralph is related on his dads side, and the Mac is related on his moms side. So both men are my husbands cousins, but the two cousins are just friends.
LOL..............do I have ya totally confused now????
Ralph is just good ole country boy!
Rob did what he had to do to win, can't blame the guy for that, right. I would just have liked to see someone else walk away with the money, as they already won a million when Amber won....then on top of it he got 100,000 too. That should have went to runner up Matt, since Rob got the million.
-
Don't worry about Matt. He will make a ton of money in speaking fees. What Christian group wouldn't just love to have him talk to their youth?
-
My goodness, as sweet as he is.............he would do it for free!
-
Im so so so happy Rob won! I was rooting for him all the way. He played a masterful game. I'm so glad he finally got what he deserved after ten years.
-
Goldie0827,
I can match that story! Two sisters married men with the same first and last names. That's amazing in and of itself, because it's a small town and the men were not related to each other. One of them was my uncle. His son was my cousin, of course, but he was also the cousin of the other man's daughter, who was my age. People just could not figure out how we could be cousins to the same boy without being related ourselves. We would just say that I was his cousin on his dad's side, while she was his cousin on her mother's side.
As the saying goes, you just can't make this stuff up!
-
So I just read that they will have the same format next time, bringing two people back, and it will be coach and Ozzy. Anyone else heard that?
-
NO!!!!!!
I hated that format. *sigh* Coach and Ozzy? Could have been worse, I suppose.
-
LOL @ Riley and your story. Sorry, I missed it when you posted.
But hey, there is suppose to be a new showing starting soon, from the same producers from Survivor, same kind of thing and I think it start this month. Does anyone know what I am referring to?
-
goldie - I haven't heard of it.
-
Expedition Impossible? I've seen a few ads for it. Can't decide whether to watch it.
-
I think if you like Survivor it's a "must watch". If I remember correctly Mark Burnett start his career producing "Race Gallois" which was a round the globe endurance race and it was fabulous and to me this looks very similar, only difference was that on Race Gallois they were top class athletes and they did crazy crazy stuff and I think it's where he came up with the idea for Survivor.
-
Yes Riley, that's it. It starts tonight. We have it on to record, so I won't be watching tonight, but will catch it some other evening. I love DVR!
-
I'm not impressed. I was glad to see the first team eliminated go, because I was sick of their bickering. And that's not a spoiler since it describes several teams. Man, it felt longer than an hour with all the squabbling!
-
Thought it was ok.....nothing special. We will continue to watch. Too funny tho, those Latin gals! Quite impressed with the blind guy! Will have to look and see when the next Survivor is.
-
According to zap2it.com, Season 23, or "Survivor: South Pacific" will most likely premiere at the end of September 2011.
-
Well, thank you ma'am, until then......
-
They've released the names of this year's cast, and - Russell Hantz's nephew? Are you kidding me??
-
Thanks riley - here's the link
Survivor: South Pacific
Premieres Wednesday, Sep. 14 at 8/7c -
Cool! I'm in - can't wait!
-
It is Ozzy and Coach.
-
Are they running out of ideas or has there been a drop in applications from crazy people that they have to bring back crazies from previous seasons?
-
OMG. I have to go check this out!
-
Starts this week! More beautiful beaches, sunsets and challenges.
-
I heard Coach is back? He drives me crazy........
-
Can't stand coach.... I just want to smack his arrogant face! Lol, my family gets together every week to watch survivor.
-
Oh, I love Coach. He is so sincere in his efforts to be superior to everyone else. Very entertaining.
Do you think Russell's nephew will be as much of an a$$ as he was?
-
Coach 3.0???? Lol, I read his bio on the CBS Survivor website. This should be an interesting season.
I guessed who was Russells nephew without seeing the name, they look alike. Hope he's not going to be an ahole. -
Yikes, not impressed with Brandon. Very creepy for staring (and staring) at the lady actually helping to build the shelter (Mikayla?) and then making the creepy remark about her "flaunting herself". Oh God, another jackass who thinks any woman not in a burka is a tease. Also not impressed by Dawn (breakdown girl). Or the chick so hostile to Coach and openly looking for the HII (Christine?).
I really thought John (Cochran) had talked himself out of the game in TC by being so defensive, but can't blame the rest for voting out the chick (Semhar) who flubbed in the IC and then immediately picked a fight back at camp with the guy 'making faces' behind her back.
-
Coach did a good job with his team on a social basis. Perhaps he has learned a few things from his previous experiences.
Ozzy really got put in his place when he wanted to protect Semhar and his entire team voted out someone else. If Ozzy thought he was the leader, he was mistaken.
