Ok ladies I saw your post and also saw a recipe. I wanted to share what I invented before having cancer and what I have done about it since. I also wanted to share that I have loads of easy recipes to go with so anytime you need to know what is for dinner pop over and look soemthing up. When I had my surgery I could not or was afraid to move my arms for fear of ripping a stich and using bags to do everything was a huge help and as a chef I had always used them but invented The Bag Holder to have a container to help me to everything that a bowl or plastic containers did. I hope you love it, share it and show some support. I was a TCH girl and currently in the neratinib trial with 4 weeks left. Since I thought I would be dead by now I moved quick and wanted to make things hapen, do any of you feel that way. Praying for a cure each day> http://www.thebagholder.net/ see me on face book too:)

mrochon, Facebook pics are the easiest to post! Just right click the pic on FB, chose 'copy', come back here to the comment box and right click and pick 'paste'. You may have to answer 'yes, allow access' to this function to enable your pic to post. Good luck!
-
oh just stealing a moment!
You clever girl Barbe, nice to see you and your lovely avatar. Hope you feel as cherpy as your pic today. Off to pack and label everything for my dearest 7 yr dd for a brownies camp tomorrow..2 nights away!I hope she has a bril time. ahhh. So that will leave me with my dear DS and loads of 1:1 fun for him, like potery painting, swimming and collages, and probably a wee bit of work to keep him progressing. Weather here is just peachy, so planning to pack and bake for brownies make an easy dinner then into the inflatable hot tub with the kiddy winks.
Faith! Wow, eat your wheaties lovey, in prep for next week. No doubt it will be exausting but lovely as well. Make sure to go to sleep nice and early and reward yourself each night. Thanks for your kind thaughts re my lemon status, never exciting just always changing.
All my best peachy vibes to you all and all the new bunnies as well.
take care.

Well ladies guess what I have been doing this morning? My house guests for thr wedding start arriving this weekend.Whole house is spotless except for my bedroom no one is going to see that except me.
Now what I need is some hunky looking poolboy to vacumn the leaves out of my backyard pool. Then I am ready for this wedding. I have one more dress fitting with the bride to go.Got a new pair of proper breast forms for my gown. Just have some cooking to do to help out with the rehersal dinner.I am off to the nail salon today. Hair colour on Monday. What do you think ladies I have a moss green gown if I wear green jade jewelry is that too much green? I could just wear yellow gold instead.
-
Gold goes with everything... MHO !!! How exciting that housework takes a major back seat to fun and celebration. Congrats !!!
-
This is my baby Raja. :-)
-
This is Raja in my daughter's (his favorite) college dorm room.
-
I got an email from that cleaning organization, I've been accepted adn they are looking for someone in my area! Yeah! They will contact me as soon as they find one. Even if it's 2 months from now, I will welcome it! Thank you all for that resource link!
-
Michele. Wait till our Coonie pops back through here! You have made a friend-for-life, when she sees your photos! Thanks for sharing.
Mum. I think the jade would be stunning. Anyone could pull of gold. Jade would be awesome. I'm so happy that the happiness is at hand.
Sending happy thoughts to the whole bunny hutch, especially those so far -- Shiny & Vivvy-girl of tomorrow.
xx00xx00xx00xx
GramE!! So nice to see you popping through...... how big is that baby these days? Not much baby left, I suppose, but that's a good thing.
Speaking of babies, Barbe did you ever share a photo of your 3? Would love to see one, whenever you get a chance.
-
I have one on regular email and can't copy it for the life of me!!! Frustrates the heck out of me....sigh.
-
My Raja also fathered three of his own. We had the mommy, Coco, but had to rehome her two years ago. She had the most terrible time with separation anxiety. The pregnancy didn't calm her down any like I was hoping. But she went to an excellent home and last I heard was retrained and douing wonderfully! All of their babies went to homes. I still regret not keeping one but I look back now and it was probably for the best with everything going on with me and Raja's rehabilitation.
-
Faith, thanks for asking about the baby. Also good to see you popping in. Baby is a toddler now - walking, trying to form words but mostly babble. She loves to "sing along" when DIL practices her music. The joy of my life as I get to visit with her almost every week and watch her. I can't call it babysitting, as I rarely get to sit down... And how is your family doing? Your travels are too exciting - congrats on such a successful adventure.
Hugs for all. Enjoy the weekend. Nancy
-
Nancy, I cannot believe the baby is almost talking!! I remember the wait for her to be born and then you changed your screen name, and what the heck did I do in that length of time....???
-
Awwwwhhhhhhhhh Michelle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a cutie patootie!!!! It seems like all dachshunds have that intense look!! Mine always thought they were much bigger than they really are. They looked exactly like yours when they were younger. Now gray replaces the pretty brown:( It's so sad to see them age. I REALLY miss my Lucky that passed away a few months ago. I still can hear him bark sometimes:(
Hope all you bunnies are having a wondermous weekend!!!! It's blazing hot here. It's gonna be a VERY long miserable summer. We've already broke some records for high temperatures.
Big hugs to each and everyone of you!!
xxooxxooxxoo
-
LOL, barbe -- you became a grandma - in - waiting and the time flew by... only 77 degrees now and a very welcome change from last weekend's heat. Bingo this evening,
Hugs for all, Nancy
-
HAHA you're right!! I became the NaNa of 3 grandsons!! Two born in September and one in March. I WAS very busy. ehehehhehehehe
-
Here's #1 Zach, born on September something.....
-
Get rid of that stupid 'ad'
-
Cute pic. -- See how big he is? That is where the time went, LOL............
-
Last weekend, my girlfriend came over and helped me get my backyard in order and my garden. She will be coming over once a week to make sure the weeds stay at bay in my garden and to pick my veggies when they are ready.
My house is just about in order except my oldest comes home from school on Monday so that means everything will be upside down again. Ugh...it never ends!
On a bright note...my Raja has been doing his hardest to walk on his own in the backyard. He gets tired but he's trying!
-
Barbe?!?!?!?!?!
Your stud-muffin look fully grown, for Pete's sake! I was still expecting some 'baby' look.
Time really does fly.
Wow, that's gotta be the best friend, EVER! mrochon!!!!!! Amazing how some people step up!
I think today is the big wedding for Mum's daughter.
Can't wait to see the pictures, Mum.
-
It's too bad it's raining today, but apparently 'they' say if it rains on your wedding day you will be wealthy....still waiting!!
They do grow fast, don't they Faith! He's 9 months old now and I could tell by the way he was holding his mouth that he was working on a tooth. I was right!
-
I haven't read back very far, but I just had to tell you Barbe------------your little STUD is adorable!!!!!!
Hope all you bunnies are doing great!!! I've been busy-----working, cleaning our pool, trimming bushes and trees...........phewwww........and burning SLAP up!!! It's unbelievably HOT here!!!! Wish I could move to Canada with my Canadian sistahs:)
Sending each of you big bunny hugs!!!
-
Coonie, be careful what you wish for! With humidity it's been over 40 degress which translates to 110. AND HUMID!!!
My little stud MUFFIN is my sweetie!! He now says Momma. I tell my DD that he is saying NaNa and it drives her nuts! ehhehehehehe
-
OMG Barbe....I guess I shouldn't be complaining, huh? Next week we're going to have several days in a row right at 100 degrees or higher. I guess maybe I could move in with SoCalLisa.......LOL. I think the weather is near perfect there this time of year.
I wish I had a little stud muffin. I guess I'll have to be adopting grandchildren. With only one daughter (very independent and set in her ways) it doesn't look like I'll be having a little stud muffin in the near future. So I'll just keep enjoying everyone else's pics and stories:)
-
Haven't been here for awhile....
do you guys remember me? lol
Hi all you wonderful dustbunnies!!!! (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) mrochon...you're with some great company here, and I agree with Faith...your blessed with an awesome friend!!!
Barbeeeeeeee....what a HANDSOME grandson!!! I'm so glad I came on today and got to see that pic!
I helped take care of my dd for 9 weeks, 6 days a week, after her back surgery. Been to worn out to get on the puter...lol I'm happy to report that she is doing alot better and hopefully has a good prognosis with her new back....
My Trent is playing baseball now and it's so darn cute to see those wee ones out there. It's organized chaos but so much fun.... Have a game to go to tonight :-)
Well, better get going but wanted to come in and give everyone (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))
Mum, I hope your daughter's wedding was wonderful!!!! Have to check back for pics....
Coonie, you better slow down missy, miss u sweetie....
Sharon... hope all's well in your corner of the world :-)
Love to all u dustbunnies!!!
-
Good to hear that your DD is doing better this round. I thought she went to a rehab place...no?
Coonie, I thought y'all slowed down like molasses in the summer time!!??
Can't wait to see wedding pics!!!!! SO excited!!
-
Barbe - You live in Canada? I have a girlfriend who lives near Niagara Falls and another who lives in Thunder Bay!
My coworkers have lined up a schedule of food days to bring me while I'm out. My girlfriend who is doing my lawn came over yesterday to check on my garden and made a list of things to do in my front yard. Like pull out this ugly old bush I can't stand and have been meaning to do something about for the past 5 years. I wanted to put in a hydrangea...well, she's gonna do that! She said, to not mind her, she'll be over a couple times a week to make sure everything is kept up.
Still waiting for the housecleaning email saying it's my turn and someone is on there way from a cleaning company. In the meantime, I cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom. I have to move things around in the livingroom and clean the corners and dust everything. Then to organize my kitchen cabinets.
One week to go...
Michelle

Hi Mrochon, looks like your well surounded. That's lovely to hear. You only need one super friend to make all the difference. take care.
Coonie you might like the British Weather at this time of the year quite temperate. Am in sandals but with a wee little cardy today (and obviously a dress as well!!). Very comfortable. I love heat but when it extreme it zaps all of my energy, which is lacking in any case, so as much as I 'd love to meet you down your way one day.. don't know if I could cope with the heat. (who am I kidding, I would love it sipping lemonade, talking to your dd and listening to your lovely accent saying "lets go to Walmart darling to cool off"
Arnie, so glad you are finally having a breather from full time care giver. Gosh, how can I possibly talk about being exausted around here. I think I do a fair bit then I come on here and see you all working yourselves to the ground one way or another. Hard that "balance" thing.
Barbe, I am not getting broody as such but I sure am missing doses of cutie coming round to mine for playtimes. My nephew was here for 3 days and it was lovely. Your little guy is gorgeous.
Well, I just didn't want you all to think I had expired or something. Just silly busy and trying my best. Still ajusting to my current eye difficulties (and arm pain) so the computer doesn't get much of a look in unless it's a SEN matter for ds.
Think and pray for you daily, and sending you strong peachy vibes.
GOsh, woudn't it be great to get the whole bunny gang together one day..
Bless you all.
xx

Hi all you beautiful bunnies!
ARNIE!!!!! It's SOOOOOOOOO good to see you. I've been praying for your DD, you and the rest of your gang. I know you've been through so much lately. Just know I love ya Arniebelle and praying for you everyday!
Shinygirl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me the temperature there. I may just have to get me a passport afterall. Sharon's been after me to get one, but I'm not sure if I'd be scared to death to travel alone or not. I hope you're enjoying your summer with hubbs and kiddos. Give them a big hug from Aunt Coonie:)
Kathleen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We gonna have to come out a looking for you again girl!!! Just where have you been hiding. I hope you're well. I just hope you're unpacking boxes and decorating your new place.
Faithie!!!! I'm sure the mission you're on this week could possibly be the most trying, tiresome and difficult you've had in your whole career:) Please tell me you do have SOMEBODY you can call on if necessary. A friend of DD's, sweet neighbor, SOMEBODY!!! You're in my thoughts and prayers!!
Mum----the wedding is over and I bet you're totally exhausted. And it was probably such a joyous occasion. Can't wait to see the pictures. I'm sure the bride was beautiful, but the Mother of the Bride is who I want to see. You're beautiful just wearing your "coconuts"........LOL
Barbe--I keep going back to that little stud's big smile:) Can you post pics of your other 2 here? You may have somewhere, but I don't remember seeing them.
Vivvy!!----- how are you doing in your world?? What is YOUR weather like? Maybe I can come visit your place for awhile:)
Jayne!!! Hey Jayne!!! What's it like in your area?? Can you tell I'm really just so sick and tired of this exhausting hot scalding burning up HEAT!!! Can't breathe outside kinda heat!!! Air conditioners not cutting off kinda heat. I hope you're having a nice summer Jayne. Each year brings us a little further away from the big "C".
Michelle----I'm so glad to see you came back and visited our thread. These ladies are some of the most genuine and compassionate ladies you'll find anywhere!!!
I miss some of our long lost bunnies..........KAK, MAK, OhioDeb, Dream, 2new1's, Dejaboo, EWB, BKC, Cathi,
I saved my Lovey (Sharon) for last. She won't like this one bit, but I don't really care. Sharon has been such a supportive friend to Elizabeth. I'm sure she's feeling a void in her heart about now. We all knew KK was running out of options, but Sharon has been there to laugh with her, gawk at guys at chemo, plan their pole dances during chemo, enjoy some wine together a few times, cooking some DELICIOUS meals for her. I just think she needs some extra (((((((((((((sistah))))))))))))))) hugs today and in the few days to come.
Just wanted you all to know I love and appreciate each and everyone of you more than you'll ever know!!
