Oh 3jays, I am saying my prayers for you. 

H&S, cars are a PIA.....it seems the nicer the car the more they charge you to take car of it...especially foreign cars....I think they penalize us for not buying American....just kidding.  They charged for changing the oil and service in my new MINI which is supposed to get everything free for the lst two years because Tim took it in in 600 miles too early for the oil change!!  Now I would not think that would be a big deal and that since it is under the two year time frame they would just pay for it as long as I am not expecting them to do this every month, but Noooo. 

I got my 2nd treatment and all is well.  The PA said the hair will go gradually, will just thin out and I will know when it is going. won't go in clumps.  She said I may not ever feel bad on this treatment some don't,  but so far all their patients have had neuropathy.  I went to the helthfood store and got the vitamins and supplements BarbA and Lago recommended for neuropathy.....this will be something new for me as I NEVER took vitmins....oh except for Vit C, I load up on that if I think I am getting a cold   My white count was down to half of what it was last week so tomorrow I go in for a neulasta shot and they said that will probably cause bone pain....I said Great, I am working Friday AM and she said I will probably be fine Friday.  So all is well with the world AND I am getting votes....thanks to all of you who are voting for me.

Ugh, about my car....I bit the bullet and said, "go ahead and fix it". I had really planned on keeping it just another year or two, but after this investment I'm going to have to keep it for a while. It's okay, it's fun - a black convertible. Barb, my first one was a red Saab, too. It was my favorite until one day they gave me a black convertible loaner, and then I fell in love with it. I've had this one for about 7 years - no trouble at all, I guess because in the late 90's Saab hired some guys from Volvo to fix their performance. But, it's been trouble now and it just better not let me down again! 

thanks for the candles, and prayers, ladies.. had the neuro appt today, and am a happy camper. it seems he saw me years ago, when i had one of the big strokes i had.. can you say CRS??? haha anyway, he is complete agreement with the way i've been handling my ms. the drugs are too dirty for someone as sensitive to drugs, as i am.. inteferon, and the lot. He was preety impressed with the exam, and that i get cultured every month for bacterial infections, and am in PT as soon as a new problem shows up.

       he also agreed that the tests the other Dr. was running were BS.. he said he didn't need ANY of them, but to route them to my GP. so i 'll do that. he gave me a new antiviral to keep me healthy, and one of the SE's is it deals with MS fatigue. if it doesn't keep me from sleeping im in like Flynn. will try it tommorrow. then, on to PT and thast was good too. had to ice for a few hrs after working out in the pool, but rome wasn't built in a day.. all seems to be going the way its' suppossed to, so i'll just go with the flow, and see...

      He agreed the other dr. was trying to re invent the wheel. at 61; he feels what i got is what im gonna get, and im still walking, if a little strangely, off balance.so, im really happy with the results. thanks so much... i just keep saying God loves  me, im still here, so i gotta keep on going...,       im gonna look up that site. thanks GramE..

Well, knowing this group of ladies, they are probably out scuba-diving, or deep-sea fishing, or maybe it's time for archery practice!

Well I have just got back from the gym. Mad old lady I say. I am exhausted to say the least.

When I was a kid, my father used to take us out for archery. He was always into something, and took us along for his sport of the week. My brother has our old target - I'm going to ask him to set it up sometime so I can try it again. Ouch - same side as my lumpectomy, though. Still, I want my son to try it, too.

EDIT: He says he's done it on his Nintendo Wii....riiiight. Kids today, sheesh! 

Lisa - that is what I DREAM a chocolate shop looks like! Belgian chocolate, I can't believe it. I would be so stingy doling that out - it would last a long time here!

Hello everybody and happy almost Friday!  I've revived a little after GS's overnight stay!  BTW, he appeared in our bedroom around 5:00 AM after another successful crib escape.  Fortunately for me, DH got up with him then and I got a couple more hours sleep! 

Barb, I went to a girls' college in Raleigh for my first two years and we were required to take PE every semester, so one semester I took archery and really liked it. Sure beat field hockey.

3jays, that's good news about your new/old doctor!  It sounds like you're already doing a lot of what he recommends and I hope the new antiviral helps too.

HnS, when you get your car you drive out with the top down and scream as loud as you can!!  If my Honda Civic ever gets replaced  I swear I'm going to get a sporty, sexy car that'll surprise everybody I know.  Sometimes I get so tired of being so sedate, reliable, dependable, etc., when I want to be wild!  H*ll, I was born to be wild and the wildest I've ever been is doing a little grass in college.  

Lisa, that chocolate shop is a place I'd like to go wild in!

Told DH tonight that I need another trip to Harrah's in Cherokee.  He doesn't like to gamble so we'll go to Gatlinburg too and that'll make us both happy.
