Thanks Barb, but I think it is lost cause. I guess I don't have as many friends as I thought I did because there are only something like 10 votes cast as of this morning. Oh well, I am going on a trip anyway even if don't have miles to pay for it with. Finally got all my stuff submitted today and think I better go soon....called to find out the CA27/29 which they forgot to run Wed., but the nurse said they could still do.....2,709!!!!! Ouch!!
-
dollars?????????????????
-
Maybe, I voted too.
Lisa, Very nice, I want to live there!
BarbaraA - who are all the people in the new picture? -
The top one is us climbing Everst, the middle one is us skydiving near Ocean City and the last one is us riding motorcycles.
-
Yes, that's us! I can't wait to see what our next adventure is!
-
Marybe, sorry, i'm another not on facebook or I would vote too!
-
Sorry - Me either - don't do facebook. Tried it and did not feel comfortable there.
-
Barbara, I'm glad you found your copy of our Mt. Everest picture. Mine seems to have gotten lost when that band of gypsies invaded my home a while back. Remember that? Oh well, bygones

Lisa, doesn't matter what pictures were already posted here, please continue to share your personal favorites, they are truly worth seeing more than once.
-
Yes Lisa any and all pix are great!
-
Oh Marybe, for the first time ever, I wish I had joined facebook; I'd vote for you too.
Lisa, we're happy with re-runs of your pix!!!
I forgot about Mt Everest trip... Sorry to hear about the band of gypsies Marlegal -- maybe Isabella's friends can get your copy back for you.
-
Barb - got a new iPad today! Yes, I am crazy and obsessed with having the latest newest gadget.

Eph3.....no, 2,709 are what my tumor markers are, the CA27.29......it would almost be better if it were $$$$$s we were talking about...but I am hoping this new chemo takes them back down.
I totally understand about not being on FB.....I am only on there with some of the BC gals and know I make some other people mad, but not accepting their invites to be friends. but I hear from people who never even talked to me in HS so what do I want to be friends with them now for? But thank you all for saying you would have voted.
Lisa, you can post and repost pics any old time. I am serious about Bruges and again ran into someone today who said they had been there when I was talking about it. On my bucket list for sure.
-
I just now saw this thread. I hope I can join in, I am a young 58!
Have a good one, ladies

{{{TEK}}} Welcome! Glad you found us!!
AmyJo, I knew you couldn't resist! Isn't it cool? So light and thin! So who are you selling the old iPad to?
-
LostCreek, thanks, I'll wait and see if Isabella sends me the contact info. I mean, it wasn't just the pictures, it was also my youth and looks that they stole!!!
-
Mary, ROFLMAO!!
-
marlegal-those damn gypsies! They invaded my home & stole the same exact things!
-
I think it was the same group of gypsies we had living near us in Madrid
-
Hey, just because I have stepped , very briefly, into the world of gypsies, I don't know where those old pics got to !! Tho' I'll have a word with my friend the gypsy aka Elvis (hehehe....his REAL name) and see if he could help.
It is a full week since I went to the gypsy wedding, and I am still not caught up. All I want to do is sleep, sleep, sleep. I never touched a drop of alcohol either....must have downed about a million Coca Colas though, seemed to be on a permanent trip to the toilet. Probably, in the end, it is down to age !!!
On my way to bed early, AGAIN, and its only 11.30pm here. I fell asleep onto my screen last night !!
Isabella.
-
Bella, those away weddings take it out of me too, truly. Of course, I do enjoy a few drinks when I'm being social (no comments ladies...Bella doesn't know me well!!) and I know that makes the recuperation even worse, but old dogs/new tricks and all that.
Joni and Lisa, I think if we ever catch those marauders we'll find lots of beauty and youth among them!!!!
-
Teklya - glad you found us! We welcome you to the party! No RSVP required.
Marybe - Praying that the new treatment brings those numbers down, down, down.
Barb - I am selling it to DM for her DS birthday.
Those marauders may have taken my youth but I seem to have found a lot of weight they left behind. (I still have my beauty..hehehehhehe

im so glad to see so many of you here today.. even Isabella, before she went to bed. Marybe, i can't figure out HOW to vote, but i'll try again, i promise.. does the tumpr marker #'s mean the halvens; not working, (God forbid) or its; too soon...
so, i took a page from Barbara A's Book, and kissed the new neuro off. called for an appt to one who was recommended to me from the Dr. who takes care of my infections, yesterday, and Tommorrow i have an appt, and with no waiting, so i can make my Le therapist appt!! talk about good turn around time!!!! turns out, he wants to review all my records, esp the chemp ones... he has 3 ladies who have had bc, masectomies, le, and chhemo. one is in the hosp. right now being tested for prolonged fatigue, and chemo blot... sound familiar??? i hope this is an angel sent from God to solve the mysteries for me.. please, if you do pray, pray it is.. if not, its' ok. i like candles lit, too. i believe they work!!! 3jays
-
3jays - Prayers being said and candles being lit. Hope this new Dr. can find all the answers to help you have the best life possible. {{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}} and love to you.
-
I love those windmill shots, Lisa! The reflection in the water is so cool!
Makes me want to put on my traveling shoes!
OMG, I took a break from my genealogy research to take my car in to have the clutch fixed - $1690.00!!!! I said, you gotta be kidding me - I was expecting maybe $600. He said, well they have to take out the transmission to get to the clutch, and I said what kind of engineers are they?? It's a Saab. Oh my gosh, I don't know what to do...with everything else that needs to be done it comes to about $2500, but the blue book value of the car is about $6400 soooooo.....I don't know.
-
for Those who light candles, try this site:
http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/enter.cfm?l=eng
if the link does not work, google Gratefulness.org and then the Light a Candle link.
-
Sending prayers, 3jays, & I'll light my Hot Buttered Rum candle for ya, too!
Teklya, welcome to a great group of sisters!
-
HnS, I had a Saab also back in the 80's and every time I took it in it was $600 or more. I got a Subaru Outback and in ten years, spent around 1K. Have a Lexus RX350 now and it is way cheaper than my Saab. Just sayin'. (Dirty secret - LOVED my red Saab.)
AmyJo, that is so sweet of you! Bry will LOVE it!
3jays, prayers going up that this guy will be 'the one' who can really help. I have everything crossed! Let us know how it goes.
-
Barbara, I am loving those pictures at the top
