Thinking Out Loud.....

I hope he stats using it.
Thinking of you Meece.
-
Needs the walker, but trying to get him to use it will be a chore I think, we all want to be independent!! My heart go out to him!!
-
Back from a long day.
We ate out again.
Father is the same but he is not eating anymore.
I'm really having good time with his family. I always liked them and they loved me back.
MEEEEEEECE..................................
Sandy....Sometimes you have to do whats right for you. sorry.
Deb....Why they don't listen and use the walker??????? At least he didn't break anything.
Linda,,,so we all gonna get sick after all you were sneezing in that pocket
Hi chris
-
No, you wont get sick since I'm not contagious.
Oldest just went to bed feeling sick. Thinks he will throw up. Ugh. No rest for the weary.
Meece ♥ hope you are resting
Sheila, I'm glad you have enjoying his family. ♥♥
-
Definitely no rest for the weary. If he does get sick, hope it's once and done. DD stayed home today feeling icky - but it could be female-related.
Sorry, Sandy. (((((((HUGS)))))))
I'm glad too that you are enjoying your father's family, Sheila.
I hear you on the walker business, Deb. My FIL went upstairs without his walker the other day- which he is not allowed to do. (not that you can use a walker on the stairs - but there wasn't one upstairs for him to use when he got up there so he wasn't supposed to go.) Glad to hear your dad is okay after his fall.
Hope you are doing okay, Meece.

Oh - I forgot - Happy Anniversary, Sheila! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Well the saga continues and I am frustrated.
- This bx was not like the stereotactic like last time. It was MRI guided so no mammo squishing as last time. Whew!
- They did the first diagnostic MRI and decided NOT to do the bx. It seems that the area in question has reverted to how it looked in Sept 09 when they performed the last bx. Whew!
- The nurse who started my IV was able to make it in one stick, smoothly getting it in with absolutely not pain or discomfort. Double WHew!
- So now I have to have another diagnostic MRI in July. Not-Whew!
- There is a new spot of interest in the 4:00 position. Not-Whew!
- They will/can not biopsy that site because it is too close to the implant. Not-Whew!
- Although I am not menopausal, I had a medical procedure to stop my periods five years ago so I do not know where in my hormonal cycle I am and the MRI should be 10 days post period, so it is not going to be easy to compare the MRIs for the same "time of the month". Not Whew!
- The radiation damage to the other breast makes comparing breast changes in the other one impossible. Not-Whew!
So although the news is tenatively good (The abnomality is not as bad as it was) it is still in the abnormal range as it was 18 months ago, I am facing a third MRI in a six month period, and more waiting!I also get to be concerned about another area showing up.
I feel like the boy who cried wolf. Thank you all for your love and concern and for being with me during the whole thing. I thought of as many of you as my spinning mind could as I was in the machine, it really helped take my mind off things. You are special women!!!
-
(((((EVERYONE)))))
Off to go outside and work in the yard. Beautiful day today so far.
-
Meece - Whew! Sounds like a lot to digest but generally good news. I like having the MRI's done because it makes me feel like if theres going to be a recurrence, I will catch it early. Hate mammos, never caught anything. Hang in there!
Son was up ALL night, throwing up from 11:30 to 6:15 this morning. I am never going to get better because I can never sleep. Feel bad for him, he's still in bed now. I powercleaned the bathroom and everything he touched. I'm tired.DH is at baseball with DS. I don't think I could have dealt with that today. He's a good man.
-
GET WELL Linda's son♥
Boy did I have a work out working in the yard, more tomorrow. I have a Butterfly Bush that was damaged by the snow, I hope it comes back ok. I did some trimming on it. It has pretty purple clusters of flowers.
-
Wheres Sheila today??
-
Meece, glad to hear you didn't need the bx today and that they are back to watching. Can they do blood tests to see where you might be in your cycle for your MRI? I know you don't like needles, so maybe that isn't a good idea. But if they can tell from your hormone levels in your blood - maybe testing to see if the levels are going up or down - maybe they can do the MRI at the time in your cycle they want to? Hopefully that other area of concern will go change back like the other one did.
Linda- sorry your DS was so sick. Hope he is feeling better soon. Hope you get some catch-up sleep tonight and are feeling better yourself tomorrow.
Deb - I love butterfly bushes. We used to have one with purple flowers and another with white. One of them blew over in tropical storm Floyd I think. We tried to fix it, but it still wanted to flop over so we propped it up with a rock at its base. That worked for a while. Eventually both plants died - I don't remember why. I think one wasn't getting enough light because the surrounding trees got too big. We'll have to get another one. I like it when the butterflies are flying around. I hope yours is okay.

Thanks Chris. I just took his temp and it was 102.8. Gave him motrin, ice cream and gatorade. He hasn't eaten anything today so I am bribing him with ice cream.
I love buttterfly bushes too. My mom has many to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
-
I've said it before and I will say it again♥
Dear God:
These are my friends, whom I love and this is my prayer for them
Help them live their life to the fullest.
Please promote them and cause them to excel
above their expectations.
Help them to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love.
Protect them at all times, lift them up when they need
you the most, and let them know when they walk with you,
They will always be safe.Love you Girls♥
-
Meece.....that is a good news not perfect but good. We love you♥
Poor Linda's son and Linda. Glad DH remained healthy so he can help.
Im not sure what butterfly bushes look like. I need to google.
I had a very busy day. We did more cleaning at my fathers apt. Then we went to the hospital. Not very good. Day 3 of not eating.
Family is going back to Canada tomorrow morning. We had a nice dinner in the house so we could talk about serious things. I will miss them and their support.
Tomorrow im taking a day off just for myself and go back to my healthy and normal eating again.
Monday will be in 80's and its MH day

Wow ladies, I am waiting for 5 butterfly bushes to be delivered to my house...........I love butterflies. I live in Pa. and I am putting them in my yard around my pool at my home down the Jersey shore......I have ground surrounding the deck of the pool, and I'm sure they will look great. Only thingis they will be here soon, and in Pa. they say not to plant anything till Mother's Day because we can get snow as late as April, and if not snow sometimes it rains, and it gets cold enough for it to freeze any plant life.....It also means a trip to the shore to put them in the ground, and right now it is only 45 in the afternoon. I bought white, orchid, yellow, magenta, and 1 other color......Well they are guaranteed, and if they kick the bucket I get my account credited. They came from QVC, and their nurseries are fantastic. One is Cottage Farms, and the other is Roberta's. Not sure which it was. Will keep you posted on what happens.
-
This is the color I have.
-
You might want to be sure you keep those bushes well controlled and try to keep the seeds from spreading if you in a mild climate. In some areas they are considered noxious weeds.
-
Not in Massachusetts, zone 5
-
DD is Heli Skiing in Banff Canaday, you wouldn't believe the mountains they are skiing. OMG!
She posted them on FB.
-
Woke up no heat no hot water and a broken scale. Its solar operated and not charging anymore. I wait and get a new one.
Have a good day wherever you are.
Here its chilly and wet.
Good Morning.
By the way the problem is fixed now.
-
Linda....please take care of yourself, I heard it is lasting days...
Meece hang in there and cry wolf anytime...
Deb thanks for the poem it does help and the bf bush is the same score...remember when George cut it down, well it is growing back, haha George....
ducky....we live about 20 minutes from each other and everybody what she said is the same for me...
Seyla...glad that you are doing things for yourself, am sure that your family being there was a pleasurable experience.
Well, the daughter told me at the party, which by the way was a complete success and she didn't know...is getting married on Wednesday at district court, told her no am not going, unfortunatelly I hold grudges and she has been horrible to me for the last year and 1/2 and and to others...my son and dil who the party was for are not invited, actually she didn't even speak to them at the party yesterday and whose party it was for.....I just can't....I really wish I was a different kind person that I could just go be fake and smile and say congrats but can't......her father and his gf are going and she treats them like crap also but they just allow her to continute to treat them that way, not me.....she doesn't need me to be there to be married and it won't make a difference in her life if I do, she is probably mad at me yet again, thank goodness I went to court to get visitation with Andrew cause she can't stop me now..
Want the drama to stop......thanks for letting me vent yet again!!1
-
(((Sandy))) Glad to hear the party was a success.
I've heard that about butterfly bushes too. Same with burning bushes, which I love.
Sheila, glad you are enjoying Dads family. 80 here tomorrow too.
Still not well, this is like 10 days! Son is getting better, fever is a lot lower. He scared me when it spiked last night.
My brain is fried so I forget what else I read. Have a good day all!
-
I hope the weary are getting some rest today.
Linda - hope your son is on the mend - hope you are getting some rest so you can shake this cold finally. (((((((Linda))))))))
Sandy- sorry so much drama. Glad the party was a success. ((((((((((Sandy))))))))))
Sheila - they have GOT to fix that heating system once and for all - hope you don't have any more problems with it. I don't know what to say about your father except to send hugs. (((((((Sheila))))))))
Deb- I'm glad your DD is having fun skiing. I can't imagine the mountains. My knees can't take it - I don't know how people do it. Hope you are enjoying the early spring weather outside today.
I'm doing laundry after an unsuccessful trip to a couple area stores to try to find dance shoes for DD for the musical next weekend. I guess I'm going to have to try to find area dance stores to try to find stuff for her tomorrow. I hope they run true to size so I don't have to go back. I hate doing things at the last minute, but they kept making so many changes to the show, I didn't dare buy anything or I'd probably end up having to go out and get another color. They are doing A Chorus Line - DD is in the ensemble. Only 3 songs, I think. She's having fun with it.
(((((((((Everyone))))))))))))
-
I did absolutely nothing today.
I even slept in the afternoon.
Dont you find my day very exciting?
♥
-
Sounds like a great day to me! I made myself sit outside and did a couple pick ups and drop offs. Son is better, he has a 1/2 day tomorrow so he and GF will be here. Gross!
-
lol-gross
Sheila - your day sounds like most of my days. I slept a little this afternoon too. So tired.
Freaking acid reflux is killing me. Guess I'll have to go to the doctor about it - neither Prilosec nor Pepcid AC have worked. I had a problem with this back in '09 and Prilosec helped. Nothing is working this time.
-
DH is on Omeprozole (sp?? which is RX prilosec) and they just had a great article in the boston Globe this week regarding why you should not take it. Google it and see what is says. I am trying to get DH to quit cold turkey. Hope you get some relief!
-
That is one thing I am glad I don't have. I am going to have a hot bath, I ache all over from raking, but got a lot done today. Ran some errands, grocery shopping and yard work. I'm pooped.
-
Enjoy your bath!
