Well, SV is out of hospital. WooHoo!
-
Whoa...how can I keep up? Had a good b'day dinner and cake at my daughter's and sil last night. All 4 grandbabies were there and DB and his lady friend. I think the best part of the w/e was that I didn't have to cook!!
Ginger...beautiful baby, looks as though she may be a bit ornery at times...that is a good quality in my estimation.
Darla...so glad you found us!
Yippppeeee....SV is out of the hospital!
gentle hugs.........

Yes Suzie 14, she does have a mind of her own. It is so much fin to play with her. She had this sweet baby voice until about two weeks ago when she started making throat noises rather like a loud donald duck or alternately a space alien. She has also discovered her LOUD voice. It is all really funny actually.
SV welcome back here, come see us here.
Love Ginger
PS I have NO Medical appointments this week. Ahhhh
-
So glad you're home, SV! Please post when you feel up to it.
Amyjo, big congrats on finishing rads!!! And, happy happy birthday, too!
Great news about no medical appts this week, Ginger. Relax and breathe now. I saw onco. last Thurs. and regular dr today. Today's appt was at 2:15 and I didn't get out almost 4:30, what with exam, lab work, pap, and shingles shot. Shingles shots are really expensive--$515 if insurance doesn't cover it, so we'll see if it does. It didn't cover DH's last year, but we have different insurance companies so I hope mine will be covered!
Love to all, Kathy

So glad you are home SV. Take care of yourself, please. We do care bout you.
-
Yikes! I have a mammo on Wed. Last one was great, but I always feel a little antsy about them.
-
susq...will be thinking and praying for good results on your mammo on Wed...I know what you mean about getting antsy.
Kathy....that was a lengthy appt, glad you got the shingles shot. let us know if the ins covers.
Ginger....glad no medical appts for you this week, I only have one to see the gyn about that ovarian thing.
hugs

Hey Everybody! Glad to see every one here. Although it's hard to keep up. What a Great Party!! Actually, I think I'm still recovering from the biggest party all year, here. St. Patrick's Day in Savannah. It's a biggie. and this year was classic, high temp of 74, clear blue skies and we started at the Top of the Mornin'. 6 am to be exact. My sister and I went downtown to reserve our space in a city square (park) at 6 and rather than mark it off and return home, we just stayed. Got some coffee and before we knew it there were thousands of people. Great event for a people watcher. And a partier, I think I started about 8:30 with my fav. Miller Lite and a blueberry muffin!! This is a city that loves to party. The parade was great. I yelled at so many irishmen I practically lost my voice. There's nothing like dancing in the streets.
Welcome home, SV, hope you take it easy and allow yourself to recover. Please don't over do it. yeah, I know it's hard, with the sun shining and all, but just take it easy, OK? Sorry I didn't call you.
The week before the big St. Pat's was DGD 2nd birthday party at my house. The week after my closest neice was subjected to a surprise 25th party. that was fun too. I'm bout partied out. Til next Monday it's MY birthday! I'll be happy if I get to go to the beach with my cousins in May. Can't wait to hear the gypsy wedding details.
PARTY ON ~Connie

Thanks for all the well wishes and happy birthdays, but where are the presents!
Actually my birthday is in December. Don't know how the little bird got confused, maybe it was this crazy NC weather. Yesterday was beautiful and today was yucky with sleet and freezing rain. At least I am done with rads and DH and I partied tonight. He took me to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner then movies and a fire in the fireplace.
Here's wishing everyone good news from all the tests and let's keep the party rock'n'rollin.
-
Happy unbirthday, we just need excuses to party.
-
Well AmyJo it was your 1/4 birthday then wasn't it?
-
-
My little bird was Chrissy but who needs a reason to PARTY??
Kathy, the shingles vacine is so worth it because you do NOT want to get shingles.
Susgul, prayers going up for you for a clean mammo. (I have my one year anniversary one coming up on April 26..anxiety will commence about a week before. I can compartmentalize it until then).
Connie - I just LOVE Savannah! What a cool town. We BCO gals should do a road trip there.
3jays, sorry you were feeling under the weather but good to see you back!
Hope everyone has a good day!
-
3jays....love the cake and your little friend, thank you!!
-
So what is our next party? (I do have one on the calendar for next week
)
-
I can't get the shingles shot because it is a live virus and my liver problem precludes it.
-
Lisa, I can't get it either. And I've had shingles twice, which I didn't know was possible.
I read that a dead vaccine is currently in clinical trials.

that is good news Riverrat..hope it comes to the market sooner rather than later
thanks for the info
-
Saw these succulents today
-
Lisa, I always like your pics, but that is stunning!
-
Lisa, how do you manage to find all these beautiful things? I walk around and see things, but nothing like what you see. You have such a gift and I'm so grateful to you for sharing it with us.
Kathy
-
Wow, hugs to Lisa and R-R, Some stuff just stinks.
-
I love all the shades and tones of color.
-
Lisa - always love your pictures. I am in the same boat about the shingles vaccine, my liver is already compromised plus they told me it is developed in egg shells and I am allergic to eggs so I get a double whammy.
Hey Barb that would always be a reason for a party - A Some Stuff Just Stinks Party
Todays party is SV is out of the hospital and my onco visit about the bone scan resulted in me staying on the current course of treatment so I am back to my "normal" schedule! That is if anybody need a reason to party.
-
Did someone say party?
-
So happy for good news, Amyjo! We've celebrated your last rad treatment, your un-birthday, and here's yet another reason---YAY!!! Cheers,
Kathy
-
good to hear that Amy
-
Hey I can abound in reasons for a party.
-
-
Did someone say party? Sure beats what I had planned for today!
