My list is tongue-in-cheek. I think when we cross over to that heavenly place, we would be speechless, and filled with an eternal peace that would satisfy any questions. I don't think it will be a celestial Coffee Talk, with the Big Boss. Still, I think that God made this creation on Earth so abundant, complex, and filled with mystery as to occupy us mere mortals with endless discovery and questions.

I am not criticizing anyone.  I have often wondered what I wrote, and finally got the nerve to see if others thought the same thing.  It has just come to my mind more often now that my children's father is gone, and I wonder if I would get upset at seeing him there (Knowing what he did to us), and want to know "why?"

Oh, you have those thoughts, too! Like, what if by some incredible miracle, so and so, through the unexplainable mercy of God, made it into the pearly gates? Do I really have to see him/her again? I hope that we are so transformed and freed from our worldly cares that we simply didn't care. Or maybe God would spare us. Scriptures quote Jesus as saying, "There are many rooms in my Father's mansion". Maybe your ex would occupy the east wing, and you would be far away, never to see him, in the west wing!

I don't think we'll have the "human" interaction with each other, but perhaps on a spritual level. I think God loves our curiosity and has a great sense of humour! He probably gets asked the same stuff over and over though, so perhaps there is a FAQ site in Heaven! ehehehehehehehhehee

Miss B, that is one way to look at it.  I just don't want to get evicted for not wanting to see someone because of who they were to me on earth.  I knew you ladies would understand what I was trying to say. (And not hold it against me.)

Isn't it nice that one of the promises of God is that believers have an inheritance in heaven? No evictions, revocable deeds, foreclosures, or property auctions. We are free and clear, not because of what we have earned or deserve, but because of God's mighty love. You will be safe in your Father's mansion. (maybe the mansion is medieval and has a dungeon for ex? oh, wait, I think the dungeon has another name....hmm) Undecided

Everyone at his funeral said he was such a wonderful Christian.  I can't judge that he didn't make it in because of what he did to us.  I just worry about bad thoughts keeping me out.  I do know that I am His heir and not by works, but by faith I have been saved.  Thank God for His mercy.

I think Hitler claimed alliance with the church, too. There are wolves in sheep's clothing, and nothing but devils in disguise. Only God can be the ultimate judge, and he is a judge of hearts. Hitler was heartless. Of course, this is an extreme example.

I think abusers that you have described your ex to be are also heartless, and I do believe he has had to stand in judgment before his maker and stand accountable for a lifetime of wicked actions. Some people are very good at creating exterior facades of being upright citizens and believers, but only their intimate inner circle really know the truth about them. Maybe he had true repentance before his death, and God's forgiveness, and so you will never know until you are in an eternal heavenly place.

Oh, well, enough about him. He is no one to dwell on. How is your wonderful DH today?

That's right, no need to dwell.

DH is busy, busy, busy.  He has called a couple times to see if I've heard anything from the interview.  I have not.  I spent the morning cleaning my horrible pantry so I can take stock of what I have, and don't have.  Once things get organized it is amazing how little space they take. Wink

Meece, good luck with that interview! You sound so organized. I wish my mind was like that. I have to really try to do better.

Looks like we need to plant fresh vegies this year, since they expect the price to increase because of the cold weather.

Miss B, they are regular Hyacinths and grape hyacinths.  My poor water Hyacinths are very, very dormant.

I feel the same here.  Rainy day today.  Hope our basement dosn't flood.  Just sitting here thinking about all God has for us in our time of trouble.  He answers our prayers in his way not ours.  He is able to do it now but sometimes has other plans.  Trust and obey that is the only way.

I probably do them the hard way, that is, I find them, save them to my pictures folder, put them in Flickr private setting, select share, select size, copy the image info (right click), then go to the little green tree in the bar and paste (right click)  into first space on popup window. i don't get those red x's, but I'm sure there's an easier way. Photobucket acct. works, too.

I have read other people doing it with facebook, copying the picture (right click) then pasting here (right click). When the window pops up "allow access" click yes, and the paste a few times. I just am not active with facebook.

Ladies, if you find them on Google,

    1.  go to the "full sized image"

    2.  right click

    3.  click on "copy image location"

    4.  come back to BCO and on tool bar for "post a reply", click on the tree icon just to the left of  the smiley.

    5.  put the cursor in the  Image URL box and hit control V

    6.  Tab past that box until dimentions auto fill

    7.  Click on the "Insert" button

    8.  Your picture should appear in your post box ready for you to submit.

If you are using your own photos, they should be posted in your own website, facebook or in Flikr or Photobucket.

I knew there had to be an easier way! I am just leery of those red x's. Not sure how to avoid them straight from Google.

Red x's usually mean that the image posted there has been moved or deleted from its original location.  They aren't evil, really.

Lol! I see many times posters not realizing that the post they just posted from a website has showed up as a red x to other viewers. I see this consistently on Awww that's cute thread for example. it has to do with shared content, not necessarily removal from site.

Some ladies might not realize that if you are using Photo bucket or Flik'r, that if you delete the image from your account, it deletes the image whereever you posted it from.
