Congratulations, Lynniea!!!

amazing photos Meecce. I'm still having trouble typing, writing and not allowed to drive. but with the 4 chemos a week It's probably better I stay put at home anyway. Hawaii looks lovely so glad you made it.
-
Hey you did it Lynniea, I just found your PM and gave you directions, Meece's sounds easier. I haven't been on the boards much, had the Norovirus, today I just started feeling myself.
-
Pauldingmom, so glad to see your post. Prayers are with you. I thank those of you who prayed for my Uncle David. He had a tripe bypass today and is expected to have a very good recovery.
Last year, I planted a firebush in my butterfly garden. Last weekend, I cleaned out the garden as most of it had died in the frosts. I cut my firebush down almost to the ground hoping it might have some life left in it. Today, I saw tiny little leaves coming out ot the bottom. I am reminded of God's wonderful love for us. Things can look very bad, but God still reigns.
Today, I spend another day with my step grandchilden and my son and his fiance. They are expecting a baby any day now. 5 years ago, I had given up I would ever have these kinds of experiences. Today, we went to the t-ball game, and tonight we brought dinner over to them with my other son. I'm glowing with the love of my family and how God restores everything back to us. I praise you God.

I pulled a lot of weeds today and found that my hyacinths, crocus, daffodils and muscaris are all beginning to bloom. I planted cucumber and tomatoes in my greenhouse today.
I left a yellow bellpepper in its pot after growing season, and DH made it difficult to reach so I left it be. Today we cleaned some of the yard and I went to it and it has little leave coming out from the stem. maybe it will bear fruit again this year.

Lisa, I am so glad to see you online and posting. Hope everything is going well. ((((((((((((((((Lisa)))))))))))))))))

This morning I heard from Matt. He is going to be medically discharged. How long it will ake is not known. He now needs to make sure that is considered a 30% disability so that he will be covered by insurance. The discharge is what he (we) wanted, now hopefully it will work for him so he won't become one of these "will work for food" Vets on the side of our roads.
I would like to pray for direction for him and also continued healing. That God's will is accepted in all things.
-
Will pray for Matt I know God will work everything out. I also need prayer I go see both my Doctors on Monday. I want a treatment plan so we can beat this cancer with God. Thanks for teaching me how to do pictures now I can put so thoughts up that will encourage us ladies.
-
Thank God!!!!

Out of touch for 8 days and it took me forever to catch up with all of you!!! So wonderful having this place to come to. Praying for the many needs!
Meece-they have been messing with Matt for so long, that I think this is a blessing that he can get some closure in this situation. Will pray for the Lord's perfect will for his future.
-
Thank you, Grace. It has been a long 5 1/5 years since he entered the service. God has plans for him now, he just needed to go through all this to be ready for them.
Lynniea, best wishes and support going out to you as you see your drs today. Hold your chin up and be strong. Listen and take notes, better yet, take another person to help you process the information. If you don't understand something, let them know. I will keep you in my prayers.

I want to thank you for praying for my friend. She did lose her children and is managing only as well as she can from hour to hour. She had been told not to bother going to court it was a predone verdict. I would agree with that. She had no attorney and the other party had extensive representation. I have been telling her that because it was said in court does not make it true. That I know it was not true. That her kids know it is not true. That she will be together wtih her kids again in a couple years and that she already taught them life lessons that will see them through this time apart. Again, I would like to add that this woman truely did nothing wrong. Her error (if you can call it that) was to report sexual abuse against one of her children that had been disclosed only to a therapist who informed her she must report and then he would. She did, and so it began, years of harassment by the family of her ex. Money talks. I worked for years with homeless families and thought I had seen it all but this miscarriage of justice beats it all.
Your prayers were heard. She did act as her own attorney for 13 hours in court. She kept a clear head during this fiasco. She did have the lion standing behind her giving her strength. Thank you.
Please continue to pray for my friend for her very sanity and ability to live with the horrible shame that comes with being accused and being unable to prove her own innocence. She has strong faith and I pray it be unshakeable. She is a good and kind person, as good a mom as I have ever seen.
Thank you Ginger

Is Justice deaf as well as blind????
-
Yes justice is always deaf and blind.
-
Ginger, I am so sorry this has happened. This world and its ways are heart breaking. I will keep your friend and her children in my prayers. No one, not the most powerful court, can cut the ties of love that will sustain them until they are united again. Their story is not over, and her ex does not have the final word. God does.
"A poor man's field may produce abundant food, but injustice sweeps it away."
-Proverbs 13:23
"A wicked man accepts a bribe in secret to pervert the course of justice."
-Proverbs 17:23
"Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, for the LORD will take up their case and will plunder those who plunder them."
-Proverbs 22:22-23
"O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure."
-Psalm 7:9

I sent those verses on to her. Thank you.
Any verses that feel right to any of you reading could be helpful. I don;t know if she has the energy to look at the back of her Bible just now to find verses she doesn't already know. Or if she even has the enrgy to remember the ones she does know. I first met my friend 22 years ago 12 years before I was a Christian, She was carrying her Bible. She told me two years ago, when I asked, that she and her children prayed for me. She has older kids too who were 6 and under at that time.
Thanks Ginger
-
ginger, i have been, and will continue to pray for your friend. its heartbreaking, but God has his Justice. we just need faith to hold on for it..
{{{{{{{PM}}}}}}}}}}}hope things get easier for you..MEECE, im secretly so relieved!! bt, i just kept praying for His will.. its always good, when He wants what You want!!! now, we'll pray for part two, for Matt. and with insurance!!!

I arrived home from the DR appts. My brother went with me. My surgeon is putting my port for chemo on march 9th and also doing a sentential node biopsy at the same time. Pet scan came back negative but is still concerned. Than I start chemo on the march 16th if I am healed up. Thank God for my brother because he asked many good questions. My Oncologist is going to give me dose dense AC-------> T. for 4 doses each that will take 16 weeks. A lot to digest I think I got a lot down. Let's pray for negative on that biopsy I believe that God Is going to keep it negative for better out come.
-
I had the AC-T, too. Mine were over a 21 week period. It sounds as if things are going well for you. Your program is laid out ahead of you and now you can start planning.
I am so glad everything was a whirlwind for me. I had the lumpectomy at the same time I had the sentinal node bx. They did the path while I was under and when I awoke I knew I had BC, but was node neg.
God is watching over you, Lynniea.
-
lynniea.....i had the same treatment. 4DD A/C & 4DD Taxol. Every 2 weeks.
Meece. My SNB also was done during lumpectomy. I already knew I had BC from the biopsy.
Well lynniea....I'm glad your treatment is in place.
Hugs
-
I aslo knew they "suspected" BC from the bx, but it was confirmed at the lumpectomy.
