Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

I'll be watching on Wednesday. I've watched every Season since the beginning of time. I think I heard that 'Boston Rob' and Russell will be joining the cast of redemption island. I am hoping and keeping my finger and toes crossed that Russell went to the Dentist and had his missing tooth replaced.

Should be interesting, Does anyone know where it is this season? I hope it's at the beach again, I love the photography of the beaches, sunsets, waves, the sky at night all the little (and big) critters.
-
YAY!!!! Survivor I can't wait !!!!
-
I also watched the show from the beginning.
21 hours 35 minutes and counting..............
-
I will be there too! I love Survivor and especially find the interaction of the people most interesting.

On the beach, Nicaragua. Check out the 'making tribal council' video on cbs.com.
-
I can't wait!! It's the one show that my whole family watches together! Thanks for the reminder- I thought it was on tomorrow night. I would NOT have been happy if I missed it!
-
As I understand it, two folks end up on Redemption Island and they compete to come back. What I don't know is if both tribes go to Tribal Council each time or if the person first voted out stays on Redemption Island for three days. I was thinking that the season would be very long if they only have one tribal council each week - 6 days - 2 off, one back - that will last forever.
As far as Rob and Russell, my understanding is that each one leads a tribe and they cannot be voted out until the merger.
We'll find out if I am right or wrong tonight!!!

mollynminnie: same with my family this is the one show we watch together I am so excited!!!!
-
Pretty soon ladies!!
-
I will be watching... thanks for the reminder!!!
-
14 minutes and counting..........
-
ahh man, no fair, we have another hour to go!
-
5 minutes!!!! yeah!!! I'm soooo excited.
-
Bizarre Tribal Council. Ah, the power of truth......
-
Wow! I have never seen a tribal like that one! Phillip is just too crazy, I would be scared to be around him.
-
Agreed. No one will trust Philip anymore, he talks way too much. Not sure about the redemption island though, puts a whole new spin on the game. Good show though.
-
But now that everyone knows what a blabbermouth Philip is, he is going to be so used, especially by Rob.
-
That was one of the best tribal councils....EVER! What a moron Philip is. And Rob was right on with his prediction. I loved the way he put the plan back on path with his final statement to the group that he was going to do what he had planned to do with them. What an awesome start.
-
Great start... Philip HAS to go... what an idiot.
-
Philip seems to have forgotten the first rule - don't give people a reason to put a target on your back, especially at first! No one knows the others enough to know who they want out, so they're looking for excuses to vote for someone. And it seems that every season, someone obligingly sticks their neck out.
He lucked out that Kristina and Francesca were bumblers. Even with Kristina having an idol already, he still ended up not wanting anything to do with her. I love that he just blabbed out that Kristina has an idol, they're voting for Rob, etc. And those dingbats caved in and admitted to it pretty quickly. I laughed and laughed when Rob demanded to see the idol and Kristina showed him! She even let him hold it. I thought it was smart of him to ask her to give it to him if she truly wasn't gunning for him. He made them both look bad, so I don't think Kristina will be here at the merge, idol or not. And Philip might be useful to anyone who wants to know what is being secretly planned and said. That may buy him a few more weeks, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
-
Did anyone else see Russell tip the immunity idol towards Rob. Russell was counting coupe* and Rob did not appreciate being beat in a challenge that he always wins.
*Counting coupe is a term that describes a way of Native American warfare where no blood was shed, but rather hitting your opponent with a stick or such on the head was the way win by basically embarrassing him.

I fess up when I am wrong - Rob & Russell can be voted off - I am sure they will do everything they can to keep that from happening.
-
....really enjoyed tonight's first episode--expecially since last show was just not one of the best......this looks to be fun and entertaining. I did laugh out loud at the tribal council. And, I'm still a bit confused, too--thought that Rob and Russell could neither one be voted out until the merge. Tonight's episode was kind of silent on that issue. Anyways-----can't wait 'til next Wed!!!!!!
-
I didn't think the episode was vague concerning whether Rob and Russell are safe until the merge. After all, some in Rob's tribe were trying to get him voted off at their first TC, so they must be as vulnerable as anyone else.
-
Ahhhh I love Boston Rob, that tribal was classic, I sure wish they would post the entire tribal on the web it would sure give us a better insight.
-
Boston Rob remains a favorite for me. He may be tricky but he is pleasant about it.
I will need to be careful and not look here until after the show or I might see the results. I am on Pacific time.

I think this is going to be a very interesting season..
I was completely floored when Phillip started to run his mouth at TC..( I was still trying to get over his pink underwear
)
Looking forward to see who gets sent to redemtion island..
I will add though I was getting pretty tired of the "what if moments" I hope they don't continue that all season..
-
Oh, the underwear - why don't these folks wear a bathing suit under their clothes when they know where they are going? For crying out loud, I really don't get it. You didn't see either Boston Rob or Russell running around in their box shorts. And what was with the suit & tie???
-
Okay - I just googled Philip - he is an information technology sales person/CEO of his own company. According to his bio on Linkedin - he was a special agent from 86 to 89, but it was in the technology area - not actually out there in the field.
I totally agree on the "what if" moments" - waste of time.
