Thinking Out Loud.....

Dinner went very well! First time we have had dinner with the BF's parents, had a great time. We had coffee and cocoa crusted tenderloin........yummmmmmmy.
Sheila - I didn't know you had a valentine, except for maybe BBB. How wonderful!
-
I love when the deer to come my yard. They are sooo hungry this winter due to all the snow!
Glad your dinenr went well.
Package stores are open on Sundays and till about 10-11 here. We like our booze. LOL!
Good COLD morning!
-
Good late morning.
I can feel your happiness in your post about the dears.
RPOC was a dear hunter
He hunted more than dears if you know what I mean....
Diane....Was this the first time you meet them/
And My Valentine is 33 years old and i love her very much like my other Valentine in Hawaii.
Linda...Package STORES??????
-
Oh, you got me again Sheila
A package store, or a packie, is the liquor store....
I am so tired today....a full day really still does me in. Please tell me I will find a new normal of energy that is better than this!
-
Diane....It takes time after the radiation and every other thing you went through to be your normal.
I don't know what normal means anymore.
But I'm grateful every morning when i wake up.
Hugs from NY without the cold temps.
-
I'm going to post office to send a care package to my Valentine.
See you all later..............................
-
omg - FIL going back to hospital today. Ugh. Why do they keep sending him home?!
On a positive note- the pipe is fixed.
-
Wishing the best for your FIL. ((Chris))
Yay for the pipe.
A Native New Englander knows a packie!
About a month after I finished rads I was EXHAUSTED! I wasn't when I finished but a month later.....kind of strange. It doesn't last long. Get out and make yourself do things and it helps.
-
Seven pages since I was here. I will try to catch up, but think maybe just diving back in, oblivious to everything that went on might serve me just as well.
-
When I was in college, kids would drive to MA to get booze if it was after 8pm (when our packies closed.)
-
Welcome back Meece. DOn't read back. I will tell you we spoke about booze, food, missing you and the BBB guy. Hope you are tanned and relaxed and your son is doing well.
-
It rained a lot, so not too tanned, but I did get some color which I was happy with. One day we will vacation by ourselves and not have family issues to deal with. DH and I won't know what to do then!
We've had a weekend here and there, but no real vacations.
-
Sorry to hear it rained so much. Hope you get back there for a vacation soon!

Matt brought me more Kit-Kats. Green tea, Grean Tea and Cherry Blossom, and Dark Chocolate.
-
Welcome back and YUM.
-
I haven't opened them yet. Once I open them, it will be a free for all.
-
We had the family visit at the nursing/rehab place, Dad is doing good needs alittle more PT and OT he is also getting Speech therapy mostly for strengthening the swallowing muscles cause he inhales his food when he eats instead of taking small mouth fulls and chewing properly. They are concerned he may choke and exasperate. He was refusing to cooperate with them so I started lecturing him. He calls me the BOSS. I did complain about the care and questioned why he was wearing dirty clothes, they will look into that. But I did find out from them that he refused a shower but he deny's that.
-
Deb sorry about all the issues with Dad's rehab place.
((((♥My Friends♥))))
-
Meece, the weather you had in Hawaii was a warmer version of what we have here so much of the time. We call that color you got over there "rust".
-
Rust....lol!! Love it!
Good night my friends!
-
Yep, I got a bit of rust. I slatehred on the sunscreen so I wouldn't burn. Rather have no tan than a burn that would peel.
-
Linda - I am walking every day, just not back to any real workouts yet. Should I say it again? I am TIRED!! Walking does help, I admit it.
Chabba - Rust? I am not rusty looking, I am pasty white dough....
Shela - I hope you can find a good airfare soon....
Hello Chris, Meece, Deb.....time for my nap.
-
Welcome back, Meecie!
-
rcg, I sometimes the rust actually comes at a cost. They have to pay to use those beds. My skin kinda looks more white and wrinkled---like waterlogged.
-
Good morning everyone!
-
I am super careful about sun exposure having grown up in Sunny CA. After dealing with BC I don't want to take on any other type of the big C.
-
You should live in WA Meece, no problem with sun then
.
-
Boston would work too!
-
Its a sunny day in NY.
Good Morning.
-
Good morning, good morning! A sunny day here as well but not for long - forecast is for lots of rain followed by rain/snow mix.....
