    ...this sounds like fun...i just got back from there and I got to meet Cher! But that was only one part of what proved to be the best medicine...relaxing and playing. Can you put me down as maybe?

    OK TA TA'S      this might sound like alot of days...but it does go by faster than we ever imagine

    were looking at  237 days till   "THE 3rd TA TA'S REUNION IN VEGAS"  BABY

    Oh I thought it was 23-26 Sept, which was the only weekend in the entire Autumn season I had a slight chance of coming. Frown

    Happy Friday everyone...I hope the weekend ahead is a wonderful one.....Fumi, I would have love to met you and see you there.  You were and are such an important part in my recon process that I will never be able to thank you enough....Anytime you want to come to USA to visit, you have a house in North Carolina that you can stay at.

    Hey Cheryl, please tell Mom I say hello and I send you both hugs and kisses, I have not forgotten about the possibility of coming to spend some days by the lake and drive the golf cart since I do not golf,heck, she may be able to give me some lessons..... I think that would be a blast.....

    Well ladies, the planning is starting now......Calls are already being made to hotels but that is a long process.  If you are interested in helping in the planning process or have some fun ideas of things we could do, please send me a PM.....I may take a little while to answer but eventually I will answer.

    Thank you all for the emails and words of support, I cannot wait to see you in Vegas....

    Hi all!  As of today I am officially FINISHED with everything--infections gone, wounds closed, tits up high and all's well with the world.  I would love to teach you to play craps and blackjack..BUT..I wont be able to make it this year.  BooooooHooooo. 

     But, now that I know the dates for next year--I'm there.  And every year thereafter.  I'll mark it on my calendar...Sept 28- Oct 1, 2012...  JUDY.

    Hey Hey TA TA'S...been a ruff road for the past 3 1/2 months. I'm getting better after trying something new, not only has it helped with the pain I was going thru it has also helped with this terrible crud. Acupuncture :) It has worked wonders for me YEAH!!!  Going on a program to continue & help me along. Saw my surgeon today & also found out what the reason was for the horrible pain, it was one of the stitches that is holding the mesh in place. If it continues, we would have to go in & remove it, but at this time that isn't a good idea due to the MRSA, if I can handle th epain, better to let it go...that's why the acupuncture is so great after only 5 treatments the pain that I had been going thru since October has gone almost completely away.

       I'm in need of 2 surgeries & the 1st one is schedule for March 14th, should be a in & out, possible over nite. It's to close up the crater I have on the left side due to many infections & I will not ever be able to have reconstruction due to the MRSA-so happy to get this one outta the way. Sadly, the 2nd one is scheduled for early fall...September & recover time is at least 6-8 weeks. I will not be able to attend the 3rd reunion. Have to lose some more poundage to be ready & Dr./surgeon wants me to be able to enjoy my summer. As some of you know, I wasn't feeling quite myself  in Vegas & this surgery is needed as well to take care of the infections I get due to it. I'm in need of what we are calling a medical tummy tuck-due to all the hernia's I've had & what it has done to my tummy/gut..I have major scar tissue & get many infections underneath the overhang-so we need to take care of this as soon as possible, plus it has caused alot of discomfort in doing every day things.  I got sick in Vegas when we were there & can't afford to get sick again..need to be healthy for this surgery & for myself, plus my family. Not saying I would get sick again, but there was alot of cigeratte smoke & it just didn't help me. I will be there for the 2012 reunion!!

    I'll still do the count down.....231 days gals till the 3rd reunion  WAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!  I'll be there in spirit with all of you!!!!

    Susie I am so glad you are on the road to recovery and have scheduled your surgeries....On the other hand I am so sad you will not be there.  It is not going to be the same without the dancing queen.   You are very important to the Tata sisterhood and you know there will be cellphone calls in the middle of the night.

    Susie I am so sorry you will not be a part of the 2011 reunion.  I am glad you will have the surgeries you need to heal you.  Then next year we will not be able to keep you grounded.  I pray you will be well soon.

    Estepp:  I found you!!!  So, there isn't any way I will know anything as soon as March 1st, as I might be out of the country when you are all planning to be in Vegas, however, if it turns out that I am going to be here, you can count me in.  It would be so amazing to meet all of you in person and I am honored that you have asked me to join the Ta Ta Sisterhood in Vegas!

    Most of you know, but my words of encouragement were printed in the Breast Cancer Wellness magazine.  WELL....A gal emailed me, she is the founder of Wings for Injured Athletes Inc. They are putting together a 365 daily calendar for 2012 called "Caring For Cancer one day At a time" with  inspiring quotes from cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

    I told her about our TaTa Sisterhood and she is so dang excited!!  Obviously since they are looking ofr 365 people with quotes. She emailed me saying;

    I would love to have your sisterhood submit quotes that would be great
    We are trying to reach our goal of 365 quotes

    Ya know what might be fun is if when they submit a quote they also say Ta Ta Sisterhood and if you alll want
    we can reference that as well after their name, city and state and diagnosis

    Thats amazing that you have all banded together. You all are so strong
    We really appreciate you wanting to participate and for reaching out to the others
    We are so excited about the calendar we just know it will be successful and honestly its because of  emails like yours thank you so much
