Lilah - meet you at the nickle slots again!!
BUT........I am starting to like the penny slots also.
-
See you there Jancie!!!!
-
Man Lilah..... you can be such a pain in the booty....... geeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzz.... work with us would ya......
BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Kidding .... just my warped humor coming out... ( as I am FEELING SO SO SO SO much better these past two weeks due to my Bio-Identical Hormones...YAY ME !...lol....
Anyway.... Ladies... you are the kindest group of woman I have even known... to put out there... that I have to be in Vegas...:)... and the text messages I have gotten.. I feel beyond honored... because I have had this HONOR to know you. Thank you.
I seem to be the entire issue actually the entire problem...EEEKKK.. sorry.... The only weekend I cannot go is Spet 23-26... I will be there any other weekend no matter when.
TERRI and anyone one else needed to save money for the trip.. START NOW ! YOU HAVE TO COME....... hey... here is an idea... since we are all BURIED IN SNOW.... go out and shovel drives for money... I mean... you can pull in 1200 bucks in two months.. just doing a driveway a day... and THINK HOW MUCH EXERCISES you are getting !!! GO GETTEM GIRLS!
Hey..... for Tracey... our Hotel and Date leader ( I do not want her job)... What do you think about this... and ALL GIRLS too...
IN my family... HUGE family... we have a reunion for about 125 of us..... we have done this for 40 yrs. The REASON all of us make it each time is one simple reason:
It is the same date.. EVERY YEAR.
It is ALWAYS the Third week of June. NO MATTER what. Date never changes. We all know this.. and we all plan for this... and we all save our money for this....
Tracey.. and all ladies... this REALLY works for us.... and there are 125 of us...UGGGGG...
So... maybe... to save Tracey from people like me....... ( LOL) we would make the choice this year... say.... THE LAST WEEKEND IN SEPT. .... and this will be the " Traditional Date" for the TATA Sisterhood. in Las Vegas. EVERYONE will know this... and poor Tracey will NEVER have to pick a date again... or any of us for that matter.
WHO LIKES THIS IDEA? Tracey... how do YOU feel about this... a PERMANENT Date....
Last week of Sept.?? Or whatever you pick. This date also works for our Canadian sisters... and moms who need to get those kids in school in early Sept.... etc...
OK.... I have put my 02. and I love you all..
AND........ Words escape me ( amazing) for all the kind words you have sent me... about me needing to be there.... You actually made me cry ladies... You humble me beyond what I know.
-
Sounds good to me Laura... if it's the last weekend Sept/first weekend Oct... as it was last year (i.e. the Sept 30 - Oct 3 weekend)? As that seems to work best for most of us.
Tracey -- Mwah!
-
LAURA I WAS ACTUALLY THINKING ABOUT THAT VERY THING TODAY. THE LAST WEEKEND OF SEP SHOULD BE OUR SOLID DATE! NO MATTER WHAT!
OK LADIES THE DATE HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN CHANGED TO SEP30-OCT3RD!! FINAL OFFER! LOL I HOPE THE CHANGE DOESNT INCONVENIENCE ANYONE!!
AND PLEASE.........NO MORE DRAMA. I WONT LAST VERY LONG WITH DRAMA! LOL
LUV YA LADIES!

Hi Ladies just wanted to share some positive news. As some of you know we got 12 - 24 inches of snow here last night so I wasn't going anywhere today. For the 1st time in history of where I have worked over 20+ years they called work off. Actually got a automated call at 5:10 am telling me work was canceled and not to come in. They have never shared this system was even available. So for the good news I have an awesome landlord that dug me out and went over and above and even did my steps which isn't part of the deal. So to thank him I took food over and had a really nice chat shared my connections with you ladies and this was the 1st he knew I was a cancer survivor and he also shared he is one. We had a really great chat. Than about 6:00 tonight my sister gave me a call to see what I was up too and invited me for supper and even fresh apple crisp and ice cream. Ok and now for the whooo hooooo news: YESTERDAY WAS MY MOM'S LAST CHEMO TREATMENT WHOOO HOOO ( she had colon cancer for the gals that might not know). As some of you might have been aware at the end of our Vegas trip my mom was put in the hospital due to side effects. But I am happy to say that was the only time during these last 6 month that she had gotten more than just tired. Whoooo Hoooo I'm so happy to be alive and well

Well Praise God! We have a date.......A little drama just keeps us on our toes...hehe..... Tracey.. I am not sure I can come that date though................. KIDDING!
LAST WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER .... for the rest of our lives..... I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet we would have thought of this three years ago Tracey sister... if we had envisioned that the TATA SISTERHOOD would never end...... only grow....
..... but... now we know we are SURVIVORS and friends forever.... so now... this third year in... WE ALL KNOW how much we love eachother... and Drama comes with LOVE! So.... we have set a DATE FOR LIFE !
YAY TRACEY and ALL THE TATA"S.... now we can get busy seeing who is coming again for sure.... YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sandy.... -
Hi to all you lovely ladies,
I have been away for far too long. Work and life has just been crazy busy and has kept me away from you all. I will be attending this year and am glad the date has been set.
I will check in soon. Take care.
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

I am so glad we kept the first date of choice. I will be coming along with my friend Tracy. Yay! Keep us posted.
-
The date works for me! I love it that we are going to be in Vegas for the first couple of days of October and Laura (Estepp) - great idea to just plan the last weekend in September each year.
-
Karen in AZ: they usually have "craps classes" at the casinos on a schedule (usually during morning hours when things are quiet). Once we know where we are staying I'll check for ya and figure out how you can get a class.
Tracey -- yay for no more drama and a solid date!
Sandy -- Wahoooooooooooooooo that is great news about your mom! I well remember how good it felt to be done (mentally)... physically it took a good 2 months to start feeling normal again (just so you know)... but at least it was a steady rise!
-
Lilah, thank you...also want to learn to play blackjack....i have plenty of time to stash away some cash to play with!!! so excited and happy to have this to look forward to.....it has been a rough couple of weeks....i found out i have heart damage from chemo....damn red devil....out of the blue...i was quite shocked to hear the cardiologist tell me the damage can be delayed 10-15 yrs...before it shows up.....i hate cancer,,,,,but i love you all!
hugs, karen

I know last year several of you ladies extended your trip either before or after our weekend. I went on Vegas .com and noticed the prices were a lot cheaper to continue to stay after our gathering verses having your hubby's come early and spend some time with you. This is what I found for the Flamingo: well Friday and Saturday would be $145 a night. Sunday through Thur would only be $55. If you choose to stay Monday - thur before our trip it would be $145 every night so $55 is looking way better : )
-
((( Jancie )))
Vegas...... here we come again....:) after the settled date.... I don't care what is on the agenda.... It will all be great from here on out...... YAY!
-
oh yeah....wanted to say thank you tracy and who ever else is working on this...it IS greatly appreciated, i will be happy to help in any way.......and i think it is a great idea to have it the same week end every year
-
Karen
-
I'm thinking of attending the reunion. I've found the women on this site to be so helpful and supportive - I'd love to meet some of you in person! Just out of curiosity, how many sisters attended last year?
-
I think we had like 50 last year!
Karen -- ugh re: the heart damage and that 10 - 15 year number (in fact, double ugh for that)... as a fellow red devil recipient, I am not thrilled to hear that stat. I hope the damage is reversible!
-
I am all for no drama. The only thing I wanted to add is that Tracey has taken this on for 3 years with help from a handful of people. The first year, she chose a date....of course there were unhappy people that couldn't make it. The second year she let everyone choose....of course there were unhappy people that couldn't make it. The girl can't win! I for one just want to say thank you for all of those who have done any of the planning for any of the trips. I consider it a privilege to be able to go and always will. Whether the date works for me each year or not, I am still grateful for those who are doing the planning.
I love you all and wish every single one of us could be there every year, but its just not realistic that it is going to work out every year for this many people. I'm honored to be a part of it no matter what.
-
Well said Tracy and thank you for bringing up that point. I cannot wait to see you guys.
Thank you Tracey for putting up with all of it. This reunion would not be happening if it wasn't for your initiative....
Hugs G.
-
Thank You Tracy for all your hard work and putting up with all the indecision on the dates. We are humbled and honored that you tackle this project of planning for us. So looking forward to seeing everyone in Vegas
-
