Seyla...I am glad you made your decision but I worry about you canceling things, are you sure you are ok, not isolating or wanting to stay close to home for other reasons?  I find that when I am out I really want get back to my safe, secure home and just sit and talk to people on the puter, in my bedroom, my safe place...that is all I am saying...

    Congrats to DD

Linda, how is the snow up there, we are getting flurries later on tonight and more next week...

For me when anticipating the testing causes stress, so here is to a stressful time of waitng....

Sandy.....I believe you pinpointed my issues...

But I didn't get anxious or worry when I travelled 11 hours straight to Hawaii and was very content there. I even wanted to stay longer. Even though I was far away i was very comfortable because was still in United States.

Yes I love my home and my privacy. I'm just terrified to go back where everything is different since I left. Am I making any sense/

    Thanks for understanding.

    GOOD MORNINGSmile

You are talking about going back to an entirely different culture.  I don't blame you for being concerned.

I'm 100% sure about my decision now.

I want to t take a walk on a trailCool

I want to be on a beach....

Well at least its not cold i will walk in the middle of the snow trails.

Its so high I was walking yesterday I couldn't see the streets it was like a snow path. Sidewalks are fine but you cant cross the streets except in the corners.

You all have a good day my friends.Wink

    Maybe I go to Costco.......

    Sheila - no cashews :)

I am going for a long walk too, but first, I am so excited about what we will do after the walk.  We heard there is a great place to get a real cheesesteak.  Haven't had one since last time i was on the east coast.  We will share one, DH and I, but still I will get some authentic cheesesteak.

Then we will go to two of my favorite specialty grocery stores in the city - one is Italian and one is Japanese. Will balance that cheesesteak with some miso black cod and steamed bok choy.  And some dessert of course.

If I have enough energy, we hope to see The King's Speech tonight.  If not, then tomorrow.

Rain, I haven't been to Ywajamia (sp?) for 30 years but love that store.  For Italian I used to go to a little place in Pike's place market that an Italian friend introduced me too.  Before I retired a Chinese friend shopped for me in Chinatown at a shop where no English is spoken and most labels had no English.  If the packaging was not self explanatory he attached descriptions of the contents.  I miss that shopping.

The streets are so narrow too!  It's so hard to see if cars are coming when you come to an intersection.

Glad to hear you family is doing well.  3rd grade.....I used to teach that!  Seems like a lifetime ago.  Theya re at such a great age then!  Still inncocent!
