Thinking Out Loud.....

Meecie ~ How are you doing? Are things easing up a bit?
-
I guess so. Things are good between DS1 and I. I missed a call for a job interview today. That is frustrating. They asked me to find pictures of our whole family for the slideshow at the memorial. Easier said than done because DS 2 &3 took the scissors to many pics when we left.
-
The hurt they feel runs deep, doesn't it? I'm glad things are good bet. DS1 & you. Even when one is in the middle of a ..... situation I'll call it ..... it might be hard to see the other side.
Sending strength & sunny days ahead.
Oh, maybe the job interview will come back around??
-
Thank you, valjean. I certainly hope something will come around. I am so frustrated.
-
Meece- I hope you have another opportunity for that interview. After all you have been and are going through, you deserve to find the perfect job at the perfect time. ((((((((HUGS)))))))))
Linda - hoping you're not buried in snow! We got at least a foot DH says. I haven't been out yet, but did take pics. Need to update my avatar with a new pic of our picnic table The snow is pretty much up to the top of it now. More snow for Tuesday, maybe?!!!
Hope the snow isn't overwhelming anyone!
-
I called when I saw the message, and they said they had already had the intervies and a decision had been made.
We are just dealing with Tule Fog, don't leave home between 4 pm and 11 am if you don't have to. Between 11am and 4pm it is safer.
-
Good Morning
Sorry about the job interview Meece.♥
I only see white chris.
I hope you are not lost in the snow Linda.
Deb...Are you home today or peeping
-
Sheila, Put on a bright red scarf and think cheery thoughts! Don't let the white creep in on you.
-
Meece - Maybe this job didn't work out because there is a better one coming in the future.
Tule fog. Will have to google that. Learn something new everyday...
Hi Sheila - enough with the snow already! It is so deep out there.
-

1/12/11 Snowstorm
1/27/11 Snowstorm
-
WOW Chris, your backyard looks like mine!
-
The last time it snowed like this - the record snow winters in the 90's- I was pregnant with my kids. Maybe I need to do a pregnancy test? jk lol
-
HAHAHAHA!!! Better you than me. I have pics of my son on an LLBean baby sled in the winter of 95-96 and the snow what unbeliveable!!!
-
Did you ladies hear today on the news that we should hope for hot flashes and serious menopause symptoms because those with symptoms are less likely to get breast cancer? Damn, I did breeze through so it seems to be true!
-
well never got to the menopause part the chemo did it for me. SO SICK OF THE SNOW!!! omg I really need to beach, income tax is gong to be filed soon where i can do.
-
No I didn't hear it.
I'm doing DDs emergency wash and the timer is on so I don't forget all about it.
Its not very cold today.
After everything is done I will take a walk. I committed too much sin last night and even ate the GF. Today I started with oatmeal. No more excuses until Saturday.
I'm so fortunate to have this place to come and write just like I'm talking to someone
HUGS
-
I walked 8 miles today! Felt so good to be out! Snow stinks!!!
I got BC well before menopause so that was not true for me!
-
And I sang 8 minutes. I'm jealous. There is no place to walk.
What am I suppose to do run up and don 2 floors maybe I should
If the buses are on schedule tomorrow I should go to BBB.
-
Have fun with the BBB guy. Walking 8 miles is very boring when theres this much snow. Luckily I live in the sticks. We have no sidewalks. I can make a one miles loop through my neighborhood and an adjoining one. We just keep walking the same roads over and over again!
-
4 miles is comfortable for me.
8 is little too much I think.
I just want to get out
-
Me too! I just wanted to get out without kids!
-
Do you walk fast?
How long does it take to walk 8 miles?
-
About 2 hours.
-
You walk much faster than I.
It takes me about 20 minutes to walk 1 mile.
Well for my elderly age i guess its not that bad.
Roasting a chicken and a yuma (sp) potato and AG.
Talk to you later.
-
Enjoy your dinner!
-
I can see I am going to need to increase my walking to keep up with the young ones. Today was my last full breast radiation, tomorrow I begin the boosts. I am on the home stretch and am starting to think of it as the path to the man pills. Ugh.
It is a very pretty day here, not bragging or anything but......:)
-
I have been going into the exercise room just down the hall at work. I do about 45 mins M-F. I can't wait to walk outside. Maybe tomorrow since it is casual Friday and I can wear my jeans and don't care if they get a little wet.
-
Congrats Diane!! The light at the end of the tunnel!! YAY!!
Your so lucky you can exercise at work Deb!
-
Congrats Diane, you are almost there!!
