Thinking Out Loud.....

Thank you for keeping me going - I love this thread and the people on it.
Sheila - did you decide?
-
yes, she did, she wants to BBB guy.
-
RCG, after my boosts I could actually see the pattern of the template on my tata. After I was done, withing a week, all my pinkish red went away.
-
March 23rd will be 4 yrs since my dx. I have to have my TM test done along with some liver function tests at the end of February and see my onco March 4th. Keep your fingers crossed that the CA 27-29 is Normal.
-
Deb...My appointment is on the 21 of February.
I get the same test again. Wait 2 days and the nurse calls me. They do the blood work in the office.
Yeaah Diane
I think I decided spoke to my girl cousin today. She lives in France. had a very productive talk with her.
Hi Sandy
-
Sheila - well that is vague. I think Linda is right, you have only decided about BBB guy
Are you having dessert tonight? I am having 2 glasses of red dessert tonight.
-
My MRI is scheduled for Wednesday. Have you noticed that all our snowstorms are on Wednesdays? I am having a lot of anxiety about the MRI and also about driving to Boston. Hope I dont have to throw a snow storm into the mix!
-
Im having pink desserts.
linda...You are right Wednesday is the D day for snow.
-
I finished 1. Having the second dessert now
-
MRI is just natural course of checkup?
-
Oh, hold on, let me get some red dessert...
-
Diane ~ Just the boosts to go, right? YAY, you are almost finished!! How is the skin holding up?
Linda ~ I'm on FB, also. Can I friend you?
deborye ~ Still holding good thoughts for a normal TM result in March.
Sheila ~ I know in my bones you will have a good Onc visit as well. ♥
I feel bad for you gals on the east coast getting sooooo much snow. We here in MI are way below our average. I fear the Great Lakes water level will suffer for it. I will be heading north to the U.P. next month & will cross the Mackinaw Bridge so I will be able to see the amount of snow cover across the straits ~ I hope for a lot but heard tonight on the news St. Ignace (city just north of the bridge) has 1/2 the amt of snow they should have at this time of the year.
-
Hi Val - yay! yay! Skin is doing great, some slight burning under arm but otherwise just the attractive discoloration. I don't know if boosts (I have 9) will cause much more burning or not. Maybe I don't want to know
-
DD passed her driving test! Yay! Written part next...
-
-
Congrats Chris!!!
-
Congratulations and good luck chris
-
I got my VD results it went up little bit from 38 to 43.6.
I noticed one thing last year the normal range was between 20-100
This year is between 32-100. And its the same Lab.
Well I'm okay with the new number. I don't take any VD3 supplements.
-
Good for you Sheila! I take megadoses and finally got up to the mid 40's! Everyone is different. You must do a lot more sunbathing in NYC than I do!
How's the BBB?
-
Now the big Decision about the trip to Turkey.
Just thinking about it made my anxiety level go so high and started to feel depressed.......
I don't know why. The same thing happened 18 months ago when I was planning to see my Aunt and it was a vacation she wasn't even sick. And I cancelled it.
Is something wrong with me?
So after careful consideration and talking with my cousins overseas.... I decided it will be the best if I didn't go.
I still feel guilty about it but i need to take care of my health first.
I love you all. Thanks for listening.
Hugs♥
-
That sounds like a reasonable decision Seyla.
-
Thanks Meece.
-
((((((((((Sheila))))))))))))
-
Linda...Is it possible last years trip to Hawaii actually changed the VD levels.
I dont know how it works, Once it gets high does it stay high or it falls back again.
I guess I will need a rooftop with BBB this summer to raise my levels. hahahahahaha
Maybe the store has a rooftop I have to go and ask..........
-
Sheila - it actually can fall fairly quickly. When I took prescription Vit D at 50,000 iu/week, it went up quickly, 6 weeks after stopping, I had dropped considerably even though I was taking over the counter.....
I know this was a hard decision - the good news is you will be more likely to see your daughter...
-
-
You had me worried at first, Seyla, I didn't see the strap on your top!
-
Meece...I made sure it was a PG rated. LOL
-
LOL!! I love that pic! Yes, your levels can go up quickly from sunshine or supplements and they can fall fast too.
I'm glad you made your decision Sheila. I know your family understands completely. Just the fact that you were willing to travel there says alot.
-
Thanks Linda. I really started to believe I did what I had to do.
I will always love my aunt. She is funny, pleasant. I enjoy her company if she was on these boards you would hear her SOH. We used to laugh together a lot.
