Thinking Out Loud.....

Still trying to figure FB out. Grilling my DD. My DD is looking though our pics for a profile pic for me and she just complained that I let her wear shirts that were too small. Sigh.
-
We have an old one that is my fathers, it's a clunker and is hard for DH to maneuver and kills his elbows, he has bone spurs. Soon we are going to buy a new one from Sears.
-
You probably don't want to read this, but it is 60° in the shade on my patio and I had to open up my green house to vent because it was 101.8° in there. I went out to do yard work in a long sleeved tee and was butring up. This is crazy!
-
It's 68 degrees in my house - with a lot of hot air coming from my DD... LOL Ok - I'm not funny.
-
Not funny Meece!
-
The weather swing here is rough. 32° in the morning 75° in the afternoon. I need to be happy with whatever. Seems like when I complain I get a big dose of the opposite temps.
-
Is it time for dessert yet?
I can only pour one.
-
DD is tagging me in photos.
-
Meece...green house is fine with me.
I stay there.
-
I thought about it for awhile. I could do some work in there, but needed to be doing more pruning so the branches could be hauled away Friday.
-
3 more months and I will be taking pictures of spring flowers. You can see them from last year on FB.
-
Meece - does your husband know you have the pruning shears again?
I remember what you wrote last time.
I was unsuccessful with happy pills. I don't need them. It is normal to feel like shit during BC.
POUR ME A DOUBLE THEN PLEASE....
-
I am having a Baileys martini. I just googled Baileys drink and it says to mix with vodka.....so I did. I will mix one up for you too Diane. Sorry you feel like shit. What are the happy pills you were looking for? When you go to rads tomorrow, demand some. Tell them Linda said so!
-
Thanks Linda - not as bad as total shit, but just shit
I didn't know what pills to look for but ideally, the happy pill, would make me happy, energetic, thin, lacking facial hair, and horny. So what kind do I want?
-
I want those pills too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are really feeling depressed, which is normal for all you're going through, talk to your doctor. I tried effexor but had an allergic reaction to it. Now I just take the lorazepam whenever I feel anxious or sad about this how cancer 'journey'. I hate that word. lol!
-
Sorry guys haven't been around, Sheila...your father.....Linda, love the pool omg SNOW!!!! I have those pills....and as I said on FB I want to go to Friendly's across the street like I always do for a sundae but there is like 6 inches on the top of the my car as is seen in the pix on FB...
Sandy
-
I just saw that pic Sandy. Start the car now, let it run for an hour and then the snow willl met. Drive to friendlys and get a sundea for all of us. How is PA? Are you having fun?
-
Well Sandy what are those pills
?
I did go to doc today, onc says I am normal and I can work through this. I said I don't want to work through it anymore, I want to feel relieved and relaxed. I think I didn't act depressed enough and I guess I am not that bad...I am seeing naturopath tomorrow regarding supplements and nutrition so maybe she will have some ideas.
OMG - I can't believe you mention the freaking journey word. That was used in the conversation where they told me I had cancer and they would be with me throughout this journey. Haven't heard from them since. Each step someone has said journey. EWWW, it's like all the pink stuff, I am starting to hate the word.
I am making a team to do the komen walk for the cure in seattle on june 5 and sent out an email to friends looking for name ideas. the one who knows the most about my experience said we need to make journey into an acronym with a ludicrous meaning....she is working on it.. so if anyone is tempted to fly out here and be on my team, it would be so fun and I will take such good care of you
-
What about the pink freakin' journey. LOL!
-
She was thinking something like J.O.U.R.N.E.Y. with each letter having some meaning. But PINK FREAKIN" JOURNEY couuld be funny! Also got cowgirls which you can figure out...
-
Diane....You dont have to be depressed to take anxiety pills. Just saying.
Chris...i cant see anything on FB. Even the profile is blank just your name and nothing else is showing.
HEEEEEEEELP
HEEEEEEELP again for to have the mental strength to deal with my father who I spoke little while ago.
I need another piece of dessert or something
-
Ummm, I think I had too much dessert. I cannot figure out cowgirls.......
My name is LInda and I have a problem.....
-
Be good, Sheila. You can get through this.
And No, DH doesn't know I got the pruners out. He will if he tries to fit anything into the garbage bin that was empty this morning. I also added three items from outside of the house. He will never miss them, and they were my son's anyway. Trying to declutter and make my "toss out 50 items" goal for January.
-
Linda, look at my last name....
-
We must be sisters!!
-
You will have to FB me your last name.....is that what you are referring to?
-
Whaaaaaat????????
-
I am lost, too, Sheila.
-
Linda did say she had too much dessert...
