*^%&*^ Boiler broke again maybe it was never fixed completely.
I need layers of clothing and sleeping on the couch. It will be 12 degree tonight.
I hate the cold
I hate the cold
I decided to have some dessert.
-
That's a moustache Sheila! And she;s not the only one who has one! LOL!
-
Oh yeah thats what I meant.
-
How many desserts have you had?
-
NONE yet.
Im starting in a minute.
-
I'm going to bed early tonight. We have a baseball clinic in the morning. It's always something!!
-
I guess no more desserts for you.
Mine is delicous.
Good Night Linda.
-
Good night SHeila! I hope you find a chocolate coverd BBB man!
-
Argh! I am sick damn it. I have this really, really dry throat, airway and cough. Just talked to the rad onc (such a great group) and he says not to worry, it is not pneumonitis but it may be the result of some sort of inflammation but is more than likely a COLD.
What sucks is that I met with a maturopath this afternoon and felt FINE. Anyway, he wants me on a med that has guanifiacin (sp?) in it to ad moisture in my tissues - it is so, so dry and no amount of relief is had form water. I even tried dessert but that didn't take my mind off of it either.
Linda - baseball clinic? Aren't you glad you have boys. I have one of each so it wasn't quite the same amount of sports business.
Edited to state that all poor spelling above is recognized and blamed on chemo brain, fatigue, radiation, my cold, not enough dessert and lack of sex.
Sheila - where is your dad,how is he? Are you cold dearie? If so, drink up.
Deb - congrats on such good b9 news
I need to go to bed!
Edited to state that all spelling errors above are noted and are exclusively as a result of one of the following: chemo brain remnants, cold, radiation, not enough dessert, or lack of sex.
-
Diane..I hope tomorrow will be a better day for you. (((HUGS)))♥
Linda...Im fine with my dessert. Maybe next week I go to BB&B.
Love you all.
Good Night.
-
XOXO - I thiink you should have dessert before you go see guy at BB&B.
-
Are you still up?
-
hate the cold also, love that pix didn't remember it being taken but I didn't know it would be posted, i look good don't I....yep at home, and of course they are annoying and boys have baseball practice tomorrow morning at 9....
hope all is well, Deb {{{HUGS}}} IS IT SPRING YET!!
Sandy

yes i am still up - coughing but fine
-
Baseball?! Isn't it early for baseball? I guess all sports are year-round these days. Like the kids aren't busy enough.
Good luck with the sports!
Hope you feel better, Diane.
Hope the heat gets fixed for good, Sheila. Sending you some heat.
-
Can someone send sun and dry skies too?
Thanks Chris - night Sheila - be warm.
-
I think Im complaining too much today.
Yes Diane my father came home today and he is just impossible.
Another family member called and he was so upset after talking to him....
I did all his prescriptions, fixed them, wrote notes. He is calling me names he is calling everybody names.
We have to be ready to run there the minute he calls.
Now Im not answering the phone.
I did everything in my power still miserable.
Well
-
Wish I could send you some of the sunshine we had yesterday when the kids were home for a snow day! Not sure why they canceled school yesterday. I'm not sure how much sun we'll have tomorrow, but I think it will be dry - I can send some of that. Snow showers aren't supposed to come 'til later.
-
Oh - Sheila. I'm so sad he's making you feel so bad. I don't have any words of wisdom - just some (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) ♥ ♥
-
(((((Sheila)))))
Hold yourself together, breathe deeply, this too shall pass.
♥
-
Sorry about your dad, Seyla!
-
Feel better Diane, funny posts!!
Sheila, hang in there, it's tough when they make fun of you. I'm sure he doesn't mean it, he's just angry.
Yes baseball has begun. We go on Saturday mornings. DH is taking son today. They play indoors. We have a cool place called Xtra innings and it's all indoor baseball. Soocer season 1 just ended that week and season 2 starts next week. Thank God my oldest hates sports and olnly plays outdoor coed soccer. Can you guess why he plays?? COED!
Today is DH's bday. I hope to get to take him out to dinner tonight. We'll see what happens with the kids.
It was -2 here last night!!!
-
Good Morning
I really need BB&B or Macy" guy. I need warmth.
Still no heat must be a major problem with the boiler.
15 outside.
I'm walking and jumping to get warm.
LALALALALaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
oooh and singing....Do you like my voice???
-
Maybe you need to head to BB&B and pick out an electric blanket, Seyla.
-
I agree with Meece
Meece, you are up early too! I have to confess that I won't be working out today and will be eating comfort food. I will keep my water intake up though
Your voice sounds a little raspy actually, maybe it needs some warming up
I guess it is just one darn awful cold that I have. Called the rad onc last night who assured me that this was not a radiation issue, other than possibly as a result of low cell counts post-chemo and now rads. I took the cough medicine he recommended and actually did get some sleep.
Sheila - do you have heat yet? Being cold and without heat is not a memory that I miss at all. Are they bringing someone in to "help" deal with your dad?
-
We get plenty of heat which is too much for many. Its never under 75 indoors.
But couple of times a year we get boiler problems and always happens on the coldest day.
They have been working since yesterday. We got 2 hours of heat then BOOM nothing.
Yes a girl will come 5 days a week 4 hours each.
I made sure of that.
Diane what a good idea to have a comfort day. Sit down and be a couch potato.
Meece buying an electric blanket is a waste because its always hot in here.
-
You wouldn't need to turn it on unless you have one of those no heat days. It would be nice to have on hand. I used to have an electric throw. It had three temps and was like a heating pad controller. Just fit over me as I curled up on the couch or recliner.
-
Can you make me some nice soup Sheila?
-
I made chicken soup its in the freezer.
Sorry we are so far away and the pilot is off today.
