    Bunnies-on-Parade!!!!!!!

We're watching the Rose Bowl parade, so it's appropriate to now be bunnies-on-parade.

(We just need to adorn them in flower petals!!!!)

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

May this year bring us closer together in friendship & support. Wishing everyone an amazingly healthy New Year in which the mysteries are sorted and solved.

Praying that this year is one of MONUMENTAL progress toward a CURE -- with answers and pieces of the puzzle being supplied month by month!! Week by week!!! Day by day!!!! Hour by Hour!!!!! Minute by minute!!!!!!!

May 2011 be a huge, quantem leap forward in advances against BC!!!!

Love to each and every one of our bunnies-in-the-hutch!!!!!

******Shiny, sending you extra gentle hugs as you continue the journey toward getting sorted. I long for the post(s) that downgrades your lemonette status -- further & further -- till you're running circles around the rest of us. Sure hope that my passport is making progress toward completion. I'm hoping and wishing and dreaming of Europe in my future.

ohhh dear Coonie, I didn't know! I did however have savoy cabbage by pure coincidence and "other healthy stuff"..along with a treat of good old "tom and jerry's".

My hands are like sand paper from having a good go at scrubbing the house, and my abdominal pain is screaming again after a bit of a break..Still,  I do like to have a good cleaning session when pain is at bay, and I feel energetic. I put on some music and scrub away.

Unfortunately I don't manage for long enough to really have that "all done! feeling", still, I happilly settle for that " good start !feeling" he he. The is NO SENSE in "having a go" at one's self for not getting all done.. Once a mum, is it ever "all done" anyway?? Good enough and happy with it, is where it is at, don't you think bunnies?? There is just tooo much living and loving to do, and too few "can do" (able) hours in one day..says there girl who has done plenty today, and just finished sorting out the new "family planner" for 2011, so my DS can see what is happening when for the whole year,(it's hard for him to ask questions, so this system really helps him prepare for new things) along with his daily schedule for each day..It is worth it though.

Well daaalings, I have a DH, who is having a go at DIY (do it yourself- fixing things). one happy DS chilling out with his new home appliences, and one poor little DD, full of flue and chivering on the couch (don't worry she is getting loads of tlc) listening to a harp music CD.

Time to pop some pills and sort out a really simple dinner.

Love and bestest peachy vibes loveys!

Awwhhh Shiny!!!! Poor "A" down with the flu bugCry Bless her heart. I'm sure she feels just terrible. Hope you and your boys (big and little) are able to keep from getting those germs. GermX as much as you can!!! I'm so sorry you're having such lemonette status day after day. I pray this year (2011) brings you some much needed answers and especially some RELIEF!!!!

Ohhhhhh I just LOVE harp music. It's so relaxing and soothing me to. I bet the kiddos love it too.

DD is teaching "whole brain" stuff in her classroom this year. She's shown me some videos and it looks like total chaos. They're learning vocabular through flocabulary.....rap music with words.....and they are learning............really LEARNING!!!!! It makes DD feeeeeelllll soooooooooooo proud of them. And it makes the kids so proud of themselves too.....gives them confidence....and they like going to school now.

Hope all you other dusty buns had a wondermous New Year's weekend. It's 20100 and I hope and praying it brings each of you nothing but GREAT times......health, happiness, peace, love and longevity.

P.S. I just had to keep the parade going.........LOLOL.....I love a parade too!!Wink

Oh Coonie, sounds like your DD is making lots of little miracles happen and changing lots of litte lives for the better! bless her. I can't wait to hear more, I shall try to "catch you in" this month for a proper catch up.

     Sharron! Hello lovey!

To all bunnies, a very happy healthy pain free 2011, please God.

In bed..sure hoping the flippin ct shows something fixable up, so it can be sorted. Still. So many of you are dealing with loads of pain, we a quite a bunch; and I KNOW, I have it lightly compared to some of you.

I feel very happy and blessed, hurty, whooped, but very happy and blessed. Thank you God for this New Year and for all the fabulous people I encounter each day..and for those peachy bunny friends of mine.

Two of my friends have informed me they are coming to help me with my house on Sunday for a couple of hours. I am OCD on cleaning and I know how bad my house looks right now. It's tidy and if you dont dig too deep it looks ok. Once they start cleaning they will know how bad it really is!

Nora, what great friends.  They won't mind coming across things that might need attention.  I'm sure it's not as bad as you might think.  Hugs to you and your two friends.

    Welcome Nora!!!

You'll find our little bunny hutch is quite supportive of "that's the way it is" when it comes to housecleaning (and other details.) Glad you found us -- we're sweeties.

Shiny just reading your posts makes me smile. Thanks for using some of your lemonette minutes to keep us in the loop. So reassuring. Peaches and hugs and lovey back at ya!!

    On a whole different note:

There is a lovely little thread under 'fitness' called ELAB -- which stands for "Eat Like a Bird" and has been active for nearly a year. To make a long story short, we are currently 'recruiting' new birdies who wanna be held accountable for their own fitness goals: weight loss, veggie intake, exercise increase -- whatever the goal might be.

We have divided into 4 teams and are going to have a contest between now and Mar 8 (the thread's first anniversary.)

If there's anyone from the bunny hutch world looking for a second supportive thread -- now's the time!!!!

Today the moderators came on the thread at least 3 times, congratulating us on our little support system & talking about the direction BCO wants to turn with integration of health/proactive/wellness/weigh loss/smoking cessation etc etc. We all flipped out to have the mods asking us if we were willing to be interviewed.

They were also asking us what we wanted from BCO when it comes to the above.

Please feel free to jump in as an ELAB full member -- or read along there for supportive ideas. We have 'birdies' in every weight category. We do tell the world what we weigh and tomorrow is the first weigh in of the contest.

Nora. You'll love us, but I must be honest........ of the 389 pages of this thread, probably a total of 1.17% of those pages are devoted to anything having to do with housework or tips or hints.

Our biggest hint is: when you must, hire someone to clean for you.

The rest of the pages are people being kind to one another and supportive thru the tough times.

I made a pact with another dusty bun to exercise for at least half an hour three times a week.  She hurt her leg and I hurt my knee by week two.  That was months ago and neither one of us has walked without pain since.  I'm on the same diet as Mum.

Sharon I understand about joint pain that is how I decide how long to stay on an excersise machine.I also exercise on alternate days to give my sore joints a rest. But weight loss that is a different ballgame. My onc told me to stop worrying about it because the tamox I am taking is woking against that.He says if I maintain and do not gain I should be happy.Oh well Life is too short to worry, especially since I think we are off to cuba this weekend.Cool

Mum, enjoy!!!!!  I live vicariously through your travels since I don't.  I could stand to lose about 15 lbs.  Thanks arimidex.  For some reason I've become very food oriented.  Too bad one of the side effects wasn't an uncontrollable urge to clean my house.Undecided

    Hi All,

Hi Nora. If you are craving a housework tip, I will give you one (which you might already know), but I thought we should give you one, as you did come onto this thread in good faith based on the original tittle, bless you: Anyhooo, without giving it much thought, I would say that probably having less "stuff" is one of the best ways to keep on top of your household chores.. If you don't need it, get rid of it, if you have 2 of them, keep your favorite one and donate the other. Easier said then done, I do know, but if you try it, you have less stuff to maintain and tidy. Welcome.

Faith, My chest, abdominal and pelvic ct with contrast is on Tuesday afternoon, my top up ultrasound is same morning, my eyes are getting checked out on Monday, my thoracic follow up is the following week.Ahh it would be nice to have some of the issues sorted. Still. One step, or test at a time. Giving me jip right now so in bed. Re diet thread, got so much pain it makes it hard to contemplate the challenge, but It sounds good, so it may be that I need to wait a wee while, but sound like what I need.

DD did her class assembly to parents today after being ill for over a week. She learned her lines last night and did great. She's been better and I let her choose if she wanted to go or not, and she wanted to go, as it is a once a year event, bless. She was a little roman speaking about those "not very civilized British Celts". Got to say, am learning along with her.

Ohh, and feel for my DS, as this week, both the washing machine (favorite machine for him) and the refrigerator have had parts broken or have needed repair, bless him. He is so kind, but as he would find it soooo exciting to go shop with daddy for new ones, he was somewhat dissapointed when daddy reasured him he could fix them and order new parts. Bless him. .what every little boy wants right? new white goods!?

    hugs bunnies.

ps:you DO know that I refain from listing you all and sending many specific messages unless they relate to a post just above as I do fear leaving someone out or getting things wrong with all your own stories..not too sharp you see of late!
