Coonie, you ain't the only one who ate like a little piggy.
-
Shiny!!! How was your day?
-
LOL.....now I've gotta go walk off the lbs.
Yeah Sharon's right. Shiny--- how did things work out with the kiddos?
-
That is the cutest little piggy!
-
Coonie.. bunnies!
Hope you all had a great Christmas or other celebration, which ever you follow.
Pains are ticking me off tonight..in bed before 9 pm, with cat snoozing on me, what a comfort they are.
Pretty lemonette but, since you asked: Let's just say mrs Santa did well, and the kiddywinks where absolutely thrilled. Santa,at my daughter's request in her wishes letter to him, wrote to her; She had a lovely long letter from the man himself in her stocking, full or wisdom and praise. Lovely. The Majic is still very very strong in our house! DS was thrilled with his mini "household appliances" and his mini "tent/house" to put them in. He moved right in put his washing machine and dishwasher in it, then the mini Christmas tree, then he popped his mini dvd player in there with a few cushions, cosy!! Shame the 2 cats where equally taken by the tent/house, especially the roof bit! Lots of crackers were pulled apart by DD and DS. Today I did some cooking and baking whilst the rest of them went to local dry ski slope to do some donuting, and they had the slope to themselves!
I must get back downstairs to start preping for trip to inlaws tomorrow, but will rest here a weeee while longer. Hope you are feeling better Coonie.
wishing you all a brilliant week. I will be thinking of you all!
xx Shiny
-
How the heck do you donut on a dry slope???
-
Barbe,(Hope you are doing well and enjoyed your Christmas) in answer to your question: It's some kind of dry meshy knitt synthetic web thingy hill. There is one for donuting and 2 for people to learn how to ski before going on a ski holiday. Fun, and today there actually was some snow and ice on top too, so that made it extra fast apparently. But too cold for me today. I was happy baking and sorting out the house.
Hoping for some good zzzzzzzz, then it's off the the middle of England, and more snow coming in over there, which I like!
take care, stay warm bunnies. nighty night.

We had our family xmas dinner last night. My daughter bought a 20lb turkey. She could barely lift it into the roasting pan.Really quite funny but boy did it come out of the oven cooked to perfection.Sent lots of leftovers to everyones home.We had such a lovely evening sort of left the cleanup for me this morning.Kitchen cleanup is the first order of bussiness for me today. This afternoon we will venture out for some bargin shopping. Hope all the dustbinnies have a great day.
-
I am anal enough that I have to do the cleanup that night. No matter what! I used to do it for my parents the morning after they had dinner parties because I couldn't stand seeing it in the morning myself! Can you imagine how greatful they must have been? I wish I knew......
-
I guess I'm anal too........LOL. Can't make myself go to bed unless the kitchen is clean. When I was growing up, I HATED cleaning the kitchen. My my my how things change when we grow up.
Shinygirl!!!!!!! I bet your little girl was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tickled to get her very own letter from Santa!!!!! That will be in her memory forever. I hope she keeps it and maybe Santa will write HER little girl a personal letter. And your dear boy with his own little bachelor's pad....LOLOL. I can just see the kitties on top...hehe. Have you crawled in yet for some hot coco? Or maybe a massage for your aches and pains. My friend mentioned to me that a massage might help with my aches and pains. I'm seriously thinking about it. It doesn't seem like the meds are helping all that much and I'm just getting sick and tired of being sick and tired
ohhhhhh welllll........hope all you bunnies have a wondermously brillllll Wednesday.
-
Massage WILL help tremendously!!!! My rheumatologist is even sending me a prescription for massage therapy so that insurance and the government will pay for it! Woo hoo!!!
-
What fun! Not the aches and pains thing but the rest of the celebrating. Letters from Santa, bachelor pads with the fixin's (hold off on the chicky for now!), snow, full tummies ummm
. This is the first year in many that I have really enjoyed the holiday... not sure if its because I am not working (but haven't been in several yrs) or I figured out how to pace things OR the idiot husband was not about and had time w kids another day hmmmm In any case it was great. Hoping the same for all.
I believe its naptime for me, or perhaps a hot soak w a good book while the house is quiet. Scans for me tomorrow morning 8:00 AM yikes.
-
Elaine, glad you had a good Christmas! I don't really "do" Christmas until New Year's Day as I have been in retail for 30 years and with Boxing Day being open and all....sigh.
Good luck with your scans tomorrow, you may find that the lesser stress in your life may have benefited you all inside and out!
-
Barbe you are going to love the Message therapy. But you need to find a good therapist that knows what they are doing.
I showed up today for my Rad follow up appt only to be told that the onc was away and my aapt was changed to Jan.Aked why I wasn't notified? She said a message had been left.Kind of difficult when you don't have voicemail or an answering machine. The nurse felt so bad about it she gave me a free parking Pass for my next appt.
-
Mum, I LOVE your typo!! hhheeheheh I have enjoyed the message boards for over 2 years here....
I got a massage every week for 5 1/2 YEARS before I just couldn't afford it anymore. When I stopped, within a month, I was on a cane and deteriorated to a scooter! I KNOW the value of massage. I don't go for the foo foo ones, my tech sweats!!!
-
I really need a spel chek programe
-
Well Ladies I need help. This house of mine is a mess.Lots of people believe that you must ring in the new year in a clean organized enviorment.I guess I have to fire up the old vacumn.
where do I start?
-
Bathrooms next.Where are my rubber gloves? Yuck
-
My DH and I have a deal. I NEVER clean his bathroom. I want to keep loving him! I have 2 others to clean, thank you very much!
-
EWB----you SOOOOOO deserved to have a wonderful holiday this year!!!! Maybe all the future ones will be just as nice.........get better and better. I'm happy for you!
Mum----the first thing I do before cleaning is go through the house with a garbage bag. It seems like there's always old magazines, mail, etc laying around that just needs to be trashed. I've even found myself throwing things away that probably shouldn't have been. I hate clutter though. I go through our closets and get all empty hangers too, so that makes our closets look less cluttered. It sounds like you're well on your way to a clean house. I've been doing the same thing this week. When I started taking down Christmas Decorations, I found it was a good time to get rid of a few more things too.
Happy Housecleaning!!!! But after this one---------I declare no more until at least next year
Arnieeeeeeee!!!! Where are you???? I miss seeing you here!!!! Please pop in and let us know how you're doing and how the kiddos enjoyed their Christmas!
Jayne!!! We haven't seen you in ages either. Hope you're doing ok!!!!!
((((((((((((big hugs))))))))))) to all you bunnies who are MIA.
