I just have to keep some sort of momentum to get past this 161.8 thing.  We will be heading out of town again tomorrow and it makes it so difficult to watch my weight when I am trying to eat where DH wants to.

This morning, when I stepped on the scale I seriously laughed-out-loud.

It read: 138.4 on a Friday.

My all time low, repeated..... and on a Friday!!!

I'm thrilled to be there (again) and would be happy if that's what the scale would say on Jan the 3rd....... so I need to get down a squeech more so that's a possibility.

Once I get to Jan I will have both time & opportunity on my side. FL home that has a workout center and a gazillion classes at no extra cost available a block away.

Meece, I see that you've got that same been there/done that feeling.

Gals. I can now claim 15 pounds since keeping track last Jan. I owe it all to my fellow lab buddies. Accountability.

    Ever onward.

Faithie how wonderful!! I wish I could say that, but I did get down to 155 lbs.  Woo Hoo!! I am not staying bloated and having the plumbing problems like I did back in the summer.  But I have been on this ice cream kick lately and have been eating a bowl sporadicaly.  Got to quit that!!! I am still wearing my 10's and some 12's.  but I would like to get into an  8 sooo bad!!!  Need motivating, Salad bag and tuna here I come this weekend when I go to the grocery store.

Nicole so nice to see your pearly whites as well.  You were very missed this summer.  Glad you found time to take a break.

Hi Renee! Nice to see you still on this site! I had an incredible weekend but with that comes food and beverage. We had my parents, sis and some close friends over yesterday, went wine tasting, came back to the house and played cards through the wee hours of the night! They stayed through this morning and now relaxing with hubby on the couch.

I have to say, I feel guilty splurging but then I had the most amazing time with family and friends.. so, I am happy to take my good memory even if it means I didn't lose a pound over the weekend.

Also, I soooooooooooo believe tamoxifen plays a huge part in all of this!

Have a good rest of your weekend ladies!

    Nicole

Im sure Insurance will be happy too. $442.00 for 30 day supply. Surprised (no generic yet)

Than I can answer  questions about my own experience.

I was going to bed now i cant sleep. I wanted to finish my big chocolate bar before midnight.

I think it made me all hyper. But has calcium in it I didnt know that until tonight.  hahaha

I always look at Mondays as a clean start......

I look at Monday as a clean start, too!!

Here's to a great week of choices.

I, for one, believe that if we are 'happy' about our choices, as Nicole experienced then we truly need to have no regrets. When we're celebrating and with family & friends then we are delighted in all things: comraderie, yummies et. al.

Then it's a matter of balance and making some additional good choices that mean "less" of things going into da mouth and movin' da behind more.

    You got that right, Faithie!

I tried to eat well this weekend, but am trying to find something I am craving, which causes me to graze.  I will focus on the good things I chose this weekend.  A salad instead of a burger.  Special K and an apple at breakfast.  A junior sized burger for dinner.  Child sized soft drink.

I came across this ticker I put on one of my posts last year, and luckily, my ticker was still ticking, so I brought it over here so I could watch it.  I will have to update it to the magic 8 years soon!  But I am putting it in my header  to see if it works,

Yea Sheila for losing a lb!! I am in still at 155 lbs.  Hmm!  Oh well better that than gaining...

Meece I love the ticker too.  Congrats on almost 7 yrs!!! I can't wait till I get there.

I am feeling some anxiety about my upcoming mammo next Tues.  Really didn't think I would be so anxious but I am.  I mean I've had a mammo on the bad ta ta and all was well a few months ago, but this is the first one in over a year on the other one.  Will the anxiety ever pass?!!!

    NO.

I think it will always remain in my mind somewhere since I know what it is like to have someone come into the room and say what we all dread.  Until then, you just feel like you are invincible and that you are just doing the mammo thing because it's what you are supposed to do.

I can only hope for a good reading on the scal in the morning.

Meece Whats happening. Are you on meds for it?

Could it be that your blood pressure got higher because all the anxiety you went through with Matt?

Most likely that is the reason.

He put me back on my heart meds every day.  I had weaned myself to only when I needed them.  I am just bummed that I let stuff get to me like this.
