Don't really have anything to say about that....
-
Still no more loss for me this week, but plumbing has slowed again. I get so frustrated!
I had been considering some toning shoes, not sketchers though. I had spoken to my chiro about them, and he said there are better brands out there. I also spoke with two women that have different types, and both of them really like the way they feel. One said that her muscles were sore the first few days she used them.
-
Jenn, So happy that you have found something that can put your knowledge to use. That sounds really nice!
-
Val Jean don't feel bad since I've stopped going to Medical Wt loss center I've gained some weight. I weighed the other day and I'm up to 155 lbs. I guess thats where I'm destined to be. Been kinda down and not eating right either, snacking some which I usually don't do. I wish I could get my mind wrapped around weight loss again. I've just been depressed about it. I guess since I didn't lose all that I wanted to and spent all that money then the issues at home with my daughter getting married and I work all the time. Combine it all and there is not time to do anything but work, eat, and sleep. I can only occassionally get on the computer. Thanks for all of you, ya'll are great.

I keep thinking that I would need to give up some coputer time and excercise instead, but as it is it takes a lot of time to catch up with everything online.
-
I usually only exercise first thing in the morning so that does not interfer with 'puter time. I am slowing getting into the grove again. Hanging around that 149 mark, & I so do not want to be there.... As you say, Renee, I need to get my mind wrapped around it again. Help!!
-
Okay, let's brainstorm. What would get all of us back on track and feeling encouraged about it? Is there something that we can all try and check out the results? Some sort of excercise? Some aspect of a diet? Let's get this going becaus eif we can beat BC we certainly can do this!
-
Hi ladies,
I've got nothing to offer to help us. However, I did decide that I am going to exercise everyday after work no matter what! And, I'm going to try to increase my water intake and decrease the sugar intake. Maybe we should be accountable to each other about what exercise we do and our good habits during the day??? I don't know.
I've had plumbing issues galore and water retention. I almost fainted when I got on the scale last Friday. I'm working on the plumbing and got rid of the extra water weight yesterday so I'm back to where I was a few weeks ago.
And on a final note, I've obviously been away for a bit. I was honored to be able to be present and assist with my new granddaughter's birth last Wednesday. It's been a hectic time. She's beautiful and healthy and my daughter and her husband did a great job!
-
Congratulations, Suz!!!! What's her name, how big was she??? Details please.
-
CONGRATULATIONS, SUZ
I'm lost with this weight issue. I'm gaining almost daily basis.
For me I need to go to Macy's fitting room and scare myself the way I did last year.
Its not that I don't have the desire to keep this body in shape and healthy but its a daily battle and I'm really getting frustrated.
Suz, Meece I feel the same way something has to be changed otherwise I see myself at 173 where I started my Macy's diet last December
PEACE

What do you think about just trying to get fit, and if weight loss comes with it, that would be a bonus?
Maybe get daring and do the measurement thing?
-
Okay gang ~ I was thinking along the lines of Meecie, just work on trying to get fit & let the LB's 'fall where they may'.
-
I feel fit. But will be better with less weight.
My middle part is too big.
I'm also waiting my results for my lipid levels. If they are as good as they were I guess I shouldn't be aggravating myself.
I have to get a tape measure (DD borrowed it and I don't have one)
I'm curious about that 13" whatever you call it Val.
-
Sheila ~ That 13" is my upper arm, they have gotten heavier, they need to be totally toned !
My wing!
more to come, just want you to know I'm here. Have been following you from one thread to another!
-
What part do you actually measure it?
Closer to arm pit?
-
I have gotten more of a 'pot-belly' this past year & I'm sure it's from the Aromasin. The estrogen is going to my middle. Argh!
I think maybe I'm concentrating too much on food & not enough on the exercise portion. Just need to move more. What do you think?
I think maybe I will do some measuring, but I don't want to do something that I might concentrate too much on & be back in the same place as I am now.
How do we do it but not OVER do it??
-
Yeah, a couple of inches down from the armpit. I actually measure the what I determined to be the widest part.

-
My only exercise is plenty of walking.
I dont do heavy duty Aerobics or anything.
I just made OR 100 calories mini bag pop corn.
I think if I went to bed early I woulbe eating less.
I do well during the day its night time that gets very difficult.
-
Maybe we are just plain being too hard on ourselves.
-
I should probably go to bed earlier myself, but I don't usually eat later than 8:00.
The toughest part of the day for me is lunch. What to eat??
I try to do my NordiTrack Pro Skier (when I'm in the mood to sweat!) or just walk/jog around the basement while listening to the morning news. Yeah, I know I need to sweat more often!
-
Maybe you are right Val.
I want to live in that island I dont remember the name now where the women have to be nice and heavy. I have to google that.
-
I'm just so tired of counting calories & reading labels for calories & sugar content.
-
Let me know where that is & I'll join you!!
-
Stress is not good either.
We continue this conversation after I measure my wing hahahahaha
-
And I still don't understand how I can have one dish of ice cream or two pieces of dessert & gain two frigging #'s.
-
I cant do organize diet like WW. I cant measure and weigh everything Im eating.
I did good until June than it stopped.
-
Well Val it was nice we connected tonight.
I will find out by Friday about my blood work if things started to climb then I have to be good.
157 and remaining there is my goal. I dont have high expectations like loosing 25 pounds, even if I could I wouldnt loose it.
You have a Good Night My friend.
Sheila♥♥
-
I agree, I've never done WW or NutriSystem or whatever that is either. That way is not for me.
Well, let's get back to June. It's summer, it's warm, (HOT), & we're walking more, we're eating lighter: More salads, fruit, fresh veggies. Summer is just beginning & we're living life easy.
Light sandwiches maybe, no heavy rolls, light desserts like sherbert or Edy's Pops. For me, less dessert period! Stick with the 100 calorie thingies, makes it easier.
What do you think??
-
Good night to you sister-friend
I'm glad we were able to connect tonight, also.
