I Come to the Garden...

Hey, you leave them in there long enough and they'll cull themselves! You just might not end up with the one you want.
-
That happens That is one reason we have to cull. We are down to about 450 this afternoon.
The water in the tank they are in is about 24 inches deep.
-

Shelia if that is your garden it is beautiful. My problem is I keep growing cutting flowers and keep on cutting and bringing them indoors to enjoy. As a result there is not much colour left in the outside garden.

Love all the pictures! In the middle of moving and a typhoon, so I pop in and catch up and then pop out! A hymn in honor of the impending typhoon!!:
Showers Of Blessings
There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.- Refrain:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord;
Grant to us now a refreshing,
Come, and now honor Thy Word.There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we're confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way. - Refrain:
-
What a perfect hymn, Grace.
I have been thinking a lot about you these past few days. I pray the move goes smoothly and you slip into your treatment in Ohio without a single hitch. Matt tried to call yesterday, but I was at work, and could not answer. If he had only called 30 minutes later, I would have been on break.
The nice thing about this venue is that no matter where you live, or travel, you can continue to post and communicate whereever you are.

When we first moved down south, Georgia. I was thrilled to find out you could grow Gardenia. I miss my Lilacs and Lily of the Valley but Gardenias have always been my favorite. So I've got a pretty good size one growing outside my window near this computer. When I found out about my current situation I was really upset. That same week my Gardenia bush did something it has never done before. It bloomed for a second time in one year! I am looking for signs and this one was impossible to miss. Still I go through pangs of trepidation
but sometimes the signs are so vivid I know that you would have to be blind to miss them. -
PM, that is such a good story. i always had a lilc bush wherever i went, had one in my backyardas a girl. they dont grow in fla. i think i've over compensated by having so many other flowers. i love i think, its salvia in that pic..the long, purple stalks. i have some that look like that in the back of my patio garden, and it yum.. of course. MEESE a koi and garden club duhh..lol loved all your posts. hope cb flora makes the decisions that r right for her. i blindly did what was recommendded this tim. if t reoccurs, i'll see.. hope i dont have to face it. my dr. told me you can only do ac/dc? once in your lifetime. i would lnly do it the 1st time. but, i am alive; was at the hospital for the birth of my 1st grandaughter, and was at Fischer 3rd birthday last week. i would not have missed those events for ANYTHING11 they def. WERE the reason i did it all. and i have no regrets. that was imp. to me, that if it does return, i can honestly say i tried everything. Handled gettin divorced the same way. no regrets.. that's a mench you found, meece. they ALL have clay feet from time to time, it comes with their anatomy.but, as women, certain things come with our ovaries, too.(wether they've been removed, or not) lol kight and love, 3jaysmom

Pangs for me today too, Paulding. I PM'd you.
Grace, Matt must have sensed my message, and at 10:01 today he called. He is trying to be allowed time off to go to your dinner. He was so excited that he did his 7th lesson on Sunday. What a wonderful change in my boy. THIS Garden has a way of making things bloom!!!
-
Meece..I will be thinking of you tomorrow.
It is tomorrow yes?

Hugs to my friend
♥
-
Paulding....Im thinking about you especially tomorrow.

For tomorrow, For each of us
-
I was laying on the table this morning, and prayed for PM. This song came to mind. I think I will be humming it all day.
I Surrender All
1. All to Jesus I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
* Refrain:
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
2. All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
3. All to Jesus I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
4. All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
5. All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name! -
And Grace, you have probably lifted off of Okinwa already I know you have left a void there, but I am so happy that you have to oppprtunity to come home and get the healthcare and support you need. You are in my prayers as well.
-
Prayers for everyone on this Friday. Blessed is He who has overcome the world.
-
When I hear this song while driving in my car it is like I fall to me knees (if it's possible to fall to your knees while driving!)
God, my God, I cry out
Your beloved needs You now
God, be near calm my fear and take my doubt
Your kindness is what pulls me up
Your love is all that draws me in
I will lift my eyes to the Maker
of the mountains I can't climb
I will lift my eyes to the Calmer
of the oceans raging wild
I will lift my eyes to the Healer
of the hurt I hold inside
I will lift my eyes, lift my eyes to You
God, my God, let mercy sing
her melody over me
and God, right here all I bring
is all of me
Your kindness is what pulls me up
Your love is all that draws me in
I will lift my eyes to the Maker -
That is lovely koshka!
I may be spoiling PM's surprise but I am excited! She got the results and they are B9!!!! Celebration time!
God is Good!!!
-
Koshka, That is absolutely one of my favorite songs. Bebo Norman came to our town and did an acoustic concert & he did not do this song! I was so bummed!
Paulding's B9 is a great way to start the day!

Dear Sisters,
Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures and uplifting words. It is such a joy to see and to hear all the beauty that God put on the earth and in our spirits. I am recently back home after reconstruction surgery. Before going in I was crazy with trying to get the house ready. I am so grateful that I was inspired to put a few flowers and plants into pots in a few rooms and just out the doors. The butter daisies (all yellow, petite blooms) are particularly appealing and they are all a sweet reminder of the healing garden.
Take care,
Sharkey
