THE 2ND TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!

Tracey - are you going to bring those T-shirts again this year? The long sleeve white one had to be cut off in the emergency room so now I only have a short sleeve blue one left.
-
I've always wanted to go to Coyote Ugly, but DH and I can always go later in the week too. I think a live band would be fun, but also loud. Although, having a reserved table sounds great. I can go either way. Let me know what the majority decides and if I need to pony up any money.
-
Jazzy.... 4 lbs of breast tissue.....wow..she is gonna feel like a ton has been removed from her body. I hope she is doing well.
OK girlies I do like the idea of having tables.
-
Being a musician's wife - I'm a sucker for a live band. And a table is a real bonus.
-
I am up for anything.... I like live bands but a it really doenst matter to me.

As for me-I'm a Happy Lady with any Music!! I've always had a secret desire to get up on the bar & Dance away with the Gals or at least Kick them off & take over with a few of you I know would join in the fun-But....anywhere we go we can create our own dance floor!!!
A wee bit up date-saw Dr./surgeon today & things aren't looking good on the healing porcess-MRSA gone like I mentioned but Celliulitics took over-been 2 weeks & it still is not letting up-next stage...... Hospital,but....he wants to wait till I see the Infection disease Specialist next Wednesday. They faxed that Dr. all my cultures from the last 3 1/2 years. Hoping he can determine what the heck is going on. I then see Dr./surgon on Thursday. My biggest fear is I need all this taken care of with a couple of weeks to be ready for our trip & not wondering if I won't be able to go. Keeping fingers crossed & Major Power Prayers!!! 0:)
41 days Ladies till Vegas WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Take care Chow XOXO (((BIG HUGS))) Susie

Geez Susie you have been through the ringer. I am so sorry you are STILL dealing with this. I hope the new specialist can finally solve this for you. It would be nice for you to be able to come to LV without it
Ladies -- I just remembered that there is a really fun lounge/bar on top of the Rio (I think it is called the Voodoo Lounge). It's a rooftop bar with indoor and outdoor seating and, at least the time I went, a live band that played great music (oldies mostly like from the 70s and 80s). I don't remember if there's a cover but I do remember it had a fantastic view of the LV strip. Since the whole question of where to go on Friday night is still being debated, I thought I'd suggest this as another option...? It might have a cover charge and I don't know if you can reserve tables -- but I'm thinking if we tell them we are bringing 40 people we might be able to make a deal....
-
So sorry Susie...I am still praying for you dear sister...
Lilah....that really sounds great..I love older music...especially the oldies
-
Jazzy...hope your sister is doing well and on the mend.
Susie: Crap, hope you can get this resolved before your trip and that the new specialist has some answers for you...new perspective.
Lilah: That sounds great. Would be nice to be able to go outside and enjoy the view as well as dance the night away!
Laura: WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Just wanted to pop in here and let all you who use the picture site to please go to it and vote for or against the new site. If I understood it correctly if she does not get 50 votes by the 28th she is taking the site down. The new site is pretty cool : )
-
Jazzy - Hugs to your sister. I am glad you are with her too!
Laura - HAVE FUN!!!

Voted!

Jazzy -- my red blood count dropped a LOT after my last surgery (from 11 to 8) and I was very tired for weeks after. Your sister may need to get a blood test and see where hers is at -- did she have a lot of bruising from the surgery? (That is what apparently made me RBC go down).
Ladies -- I thought of the Voodoo Lounge because of what someone said about wanting to be able to talk. With this place you can sit inside and drink and dance or sit outside and talk and drink (and still hear the music but not so loud as inside). Not to mention the view
-
OK a little more about the Voodoo Lounge. Looks like if we get there before 8 PM it's free to get in (and no line). Though I still think we should call and make sure we can all get in with no issues (of course).
Hours at the VooDoo Lounge at the Rio:: Cafe is open daily, 5 to 11 p.m. Lounge is open daily, 5 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Cover at the VooDoo Lounge at the Rio:: $10 Tues. & Wed. $20 Thurs.- Mon. Get there before 8 P.M.and it's free.
Music at the VooDoo Lounge at the Rio:: Top 40, hip-hop, dance music, Live bands
Dress Code: Business casual
What it's like at the VooDoo Lounge at the Rio:
Located high up on the Rio suites tower, it offers a great view and occasionally good live entertainment. There is no dance floor but a nice outdoor patio where you can look out on to the city. The crowd is less pretentious than you will find at some of the other outdoor lounges. The line can get wicked on a weekend night but the views are great and you will have a good time.
(I copied this description from, I believe, govegas.com)
-
Jazzy: Just PM'd you. Peg and I will be at the Meet and Greet Friday, Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner...hosting a get-together in our room for anyone who is not going out to the club on Friday or Saturday night....
-
Lilah,
That does sound like a fun night out! I been to Vegas only two times. That last time I was there I got married. So it was a very nice time but this time I think I will just have a blast with all you girls. Both me and my friend Melissa are really looking forward to it. I need a real vacation
.
-
Lilah, sounds good to me. I'm a vegas newbie, so I will just follow you all.
Susie, I am sending healing wishes your way!
-
Susie - sending healing wishes your way and hoping they get to the root of the problem and that you are able to join all of us in Vegas.
We are along for the ride no matter which venue you gals decide on.
Wahoooooooooooooo!!!!!! Just over a month and counting down.
-
Lilah - I like your idea. I have a hearing disability so it is hard for me to hear when there is a bunch of background noise so I tend to prefer the quiet areas - EXCEPT THE PIANO BAR!!! Of course there we sing and dance and laugh at everyone so there isn't a bunch of chatter going on.
Robin - what time are you flying in? Our room is under your name so I figured I would fly in after you get there.
-
I would like to know when all my roomies are arriving.
I already have Joyce (Hood) arrival time
Judy (facecrafter) and Diane (nvdiane) please PM me with your arrival times. I will do the same for you. Also cell numbers would be great
-
HI TA TAS!! HOPE EVERYONE IS GOOD! OK I HAVE A QUESTION THIS IS OFF THE SUBJECT OF VEGAS. TODAY I WENT IN FOR MY 3 MONTH CHECK UP WITH MY ONC. SHE TOLD ME THAT MY BLOOD WORK FROM 3 MONTHS AGO LOOKED GOOD. SHE WENT ON TO SAY MY TUMOR MARKER WAS GOOD AT 32. YIKES!!! THE LAST READINGS HAVE BEEN 27,29,28,29 NOW ITS 32!! MY ONC SAYS NOT TO WORRY AND ITS NORMAL BECAUSE ITS BELOW 38. I ON THE OTHER HAND AM FREAKING OUT!! I DID MORE BLOOD TESTS TODAY AND WILL NOT GET THE RESULTS TIL MONDAY! SHOULD I BE WORRIED?? SHE SAYS NO BUT WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK??
LUVA YA LADIES!
-
Hello ladies, just a thought. I have been to the Voodoo lounge, not my favorite place because the night I went the crowd was not the kind of crowd I would party with (drunk half naked girl fell off the outside dancing poll stage head first and skirt wrapped around her head) the view is phenomenal. Also all the outside seating was reserved so you could not seat outside (table service is around $400.00 per table). Annie has tried calling to see if we can get a deal and they are giving her the run around (last I heard). Lilah do you want to try making some phone calls and see if you have better luck. It seemed the Venetian was a good option also, at this point I think we need to make a decision and go with it if we are going to pay to reserve tables. I am hoping to have some answers on the other venues sometime next week.
Hope you guys are having a great week, I am dealing with 1st day of middle school. So I should have some free time end of the week.
Hugs to all
Gisella
