I'm local Vegas girl also (hello Lorraine).  I just found out Onco score last Friday and don't need chemo, wooohoo! but that also means that I will start RAD in September.  I'd like to meet all of you but please post the schedules and RSVPs etc...

Paula and Lorraine -- send a PM to Jazzygem and let her know which events you want to be counted in for.  Scroll back or do a search for posts from Jazzygem (she posted the schedule recently on this site) to see what is being planned when.  At this point it's just times and days and proposed plans (in some cases) -- final locations/venues will be official once the final head count is done and reservations are made (as I understand it).

I am making my plane reservations this week!!!  I gave dh the heads up that he needs to book me on some flights - I want to arrive by around 2 pm on Friday and I don't want to leave until 3 pm on Monday as getting up early to go to the airport on Monday after partying all weekend is NOT GOING TO WORK!!!

We just got back from the Doobie Brother's concert here - I took dh to the venue for the very first time and he actually stood up and danced with me most of the night.  It was so romantic.  We just got home - I need to brush my teeth and go attack him!  Can you tell we drank a couple of bottles of wine?

I'm one of the local girls that will be meeting up with everyone on Friday night.  I met a bunch of the Ta Ta's last year at the Paint the Square Pink event.  I can't believe Komen cancelled that event.  Oh well, I'm glad it's not that weekend because my sister's wedding is that weekend.  I'll see you all on Friday night!  Woo Hoo!!!

Had a very nice visit with our beautiful, sweet Linda(54) yesterday!  It was great seeing her again and getting caught up in person.  I so look forward to meeting all you wonderful Ta Ta Sisters in just a few short weeks!

Hi ladies - Giselle asked me to let you all know that we've confirmed the location for the Friday night gathering - it will be at La Scena at the Venetian.  We need to be there by 9:30pm (following our meet & greet/dinner) or they will give our tables away and we forfeit a deposit.  They will be holding 12 tables for us close to the stage (4 chairs to a table).  The band scheduled to perform that night is called the Peter Monroy Band (you can google it and see some youtube videos if you are interested).  The band plays 70's, 80's and 90's music. 

Jazzy - you can update your list to reflect this location for the Friday night 'fun'.

Laura: A LIMO???!!! Wow I am speechless. I just have to say this: on Jan 11 this year,  I had my BMX, and I thought this would be the worst year of my life. Fast forward 9 months and Im (like a movie star) takin a limo to my hotel in VEGAS, baby, where Im meeting up with the best women on the planet! I am so excited about meeting all of you special ladies. It will be a very nice trip with my breast cancer group that I coordinate. 3 of them are coming. We are all driving up together. Yahoo!! It is amazing the size of this group that is all coming. I think it is wonderful that the ladies that are putting this together are well organized. It takes a certain skill to be able to pull this off.

Just to let you ladies know my dil was dx with ovarian cancer. She is only 21. They removed all her female organs. She just got let out from the hospital. She starts chemo in 3 weeks. It just breaks my heart to see someone at such a young age having to deal with cancer and take away the ability to have children. Especially when that is a desire.
