    I am in shock that someone on these boards would attack me for posting  positive results from my LD flap surgery.  Also stated that if someone had such a good result then why would they still be posting on the boards.  I have been very nice and I thought helpful to this person in the past. She is having a bad experience since having LD surgery and I guess she thinks that no way is it possible for anyone to have a positive recovery from this surgery.  She does not think I should be painting a "rosy" picture of the LD...lol...rosy!!!  The surgery and expansions were a "breeze" (her word, not mine) for me but you all know (and it is not a secret) that I have the tight bra feeling and have suffered with depression over taking the good girl and not from the surgery.

    I just had to get this off my chest (no pun intended)....thanks for listening.

    Linda - sorry you are dealing with this.  So many times our words get taken the wrong way and it does hurt our feelings.  You were supportive about your surgery and yet it sounds like she just wanted responses that were negative about the surgery - sort of let me have a pity party and everyone needs to agree with me - if you don't then I don't want to hear from you.

    Oh Linda, I'm so sorry. You have been very helpful to so many on this site and on the picture forum, too. All we can do is offer support and I'm sorry that this person can't appreciate your good intentions and realize that we have all had our own trials in getting through this bc stuff. Keep your chin up!

    Linda -- I am so sorry that someone is harrassing you on this site.  I really hate it when people do that here and I don't understand it, quite frankly.  This is a site for all of us to share our feelings/experiences or whatever -- and it's a given that we all feel and experience things differently for a thousand different reasons.  Sending you hugs and thanks for being the wonderful person that you are.

    Guess I'm low maintenance...lol  Carry on....don't drink coffee ( Seriously ME on coffee??  REALLY?? LOL )....take half hour to get ready.....okok NOW I KNOW WHY I'M NOT AS HOT AS YOU-ALL!!!  LIKE IT EVEN MATTERS!!!  I JUST CAN HARDLY WAIT TO ALL BE TOGETHER...I WISH WE HAD 1 BIG ROOM TO EAT SLEEP AND PLAY IN!!!  I must be dreaming in TATA LAND!!

    Calgon PLEASE take me away!!!.....I had jury duty today and only 6 jurors were called out of 21...I was 1 of the 6.  It was a VERY long day and VERY draining!!!  I got there at 8am and didn't get home until 9pm!  PLUS we had to give a guilty virdict...this was sooo hard since all of us could totally sympathize....I KNOW I will learn from this...but it's a sucky way to learn as with anything else...urgh HATES THESE SPEED BUMPS IN THE STORY OF LIFE!!!!

    Linda - I am so sorry...It is a real shame that someone has warped your good intentions.  As someone who has not had a successful implant story I have learned that all of our bodies are indeed different and take to alterations differently.  So, like now as I am looking into alternatives and hear all the positive outcomes I also look for the negative and tend to lean towards that side of the equation for myself.  Not that I am a negative person, just have learned over the past 2 years that if there is a 1% chance - hey, I get to be that 1%!  I did notice that she has not posted much and is mostly responding -so just let it slide.  Maybe she's just having a bad day and trying to pull you into that rabbit hole.  Stay here and play with us!!

    I am a hot tea drinker so guess I'll be at Starbucks unless someone wants to hit the breakfast buffet early with me!  Glad to know there are several East coast ladies!  You west coasters are gonna have to keep us rolling!

    If I let my hair do it's natural thing then I'm pretty much wash and dry - throw on some makeup and go.  Looks like no heels in my near future either as I am STILL nursing a hurt ankle.  All my pretty shoes are making sad heelie faces at me in my closet.Cry

    Laura -- I am so glad that Taylor is going to be OK.   What a relief!  I have not booked my travel yet.  I will do so when I retrun form the Islands!  I am currently in Torola.

    Oh I wish I could join you gals.I  am arriving in LV on Oct 4th about 4pm...u will all be gone by then...maybe next year. I cannot get out there any  earlier....have fun...I am sure you will!!!

    Remember I have PERMANENT MAKEUP!!  So I am never without --Everything--brows, eyeshadow, liner lips..I get up already done every norning!!  So eat your hearts out!!  LOL..lol...JUDY

    Judy...that is why I love my brows...they are ready when I get up.  Earleen is going to touch them up on Aug 30th. 

    Thanks everyone for supporting me on that ugly post.  I did go and edit my opening statement about panties being in a wad.  That is just not me. I was upset and typed the first thing that came to my mind..LOL

    All I wanted to do was defend myself and really I shouldn't feel like I have to do that because I know all of the dear sisters know that I am here to help and not to hurt anyone.

    Gretchen...there comes the good and the bad with all types of recon and what would it be like if all we read were terrible results..I don't think any of us would have recon done.  If fact, when I was doing research I was told not to get on the internet...that it would scare me to the point of not having surgery at all.

    Linda - You didn't hog this thread.......goodness gracious, we're here to listen and support each other, wherever that may be!  I'm just sorry that you have had to deal with that poor woman.....obviously she's unhappy and can't bear the thought that someone could actually find joy through this all....

    So, just how hot are we talking?  I'm thinking anything's better than this 105 or so we've had here for the past 14 days straight.......

    and Laura.....I'm not much of a light traveller either....Smile.....must be prepared for all occasions!

    Linda, Don't let one person, who clearly isn't in a very good place herself, make you change your way of sharing and helping out everyone in this community.  I've been posting with you for a couple of years now and never known you to sugar coat anything!  It's just life that some have good results and others don't.  Anyone reading the threads should be intelligent enough to know that.  Shame on her for bullying you!

    No coffee pot!!!???  Horrors!  Thankfully I will have a full kitchen where I'm staying!  I even pack my own coffee, filters, etc!  LOL

    Coffee at my place is fine with me!  Although you'll have to deal with DH in his boxers ;)

    I'm an Eastcoaster too.  Coming from NH.  I'll try to avoid faceplanting in my margarita!

    East/ north coaster here too....but arriving the day before so I should be wide awake for Friday!

    Linda: Sorry to hear someone is taking your words the wrong way. It's hard sometimes to find joy in what others are saying when things aren't going right in your own life. Hopefully that person will come to terms with her situation and move forward.

    Jazzy: Jury duty is never easy..been there myself. There's a lesson to be learned for sure...

    Ok.. I am going to go check out that thread LInda... I am beyond protective of my girls here.... just saying! You are a great asset to the LD threads as you ARE on who had a good outcome and others who are looking into this NEED your outcome too!!!!!!!!!!

    on the coffee: Peg brought her pot last year ... and I was ALWYS the first one in her room...LOL... 7am usually. I have to have my coffee... besides wine.... it is my only liquid pleasure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
