(((susie))) so sorry you are having to deal with this.
-
Hello Ladies, Sandy I am so sorry about your mom, I will keep her and the entire family in my prayers. Susie, I am so sorry your infections are not doing better. When I was going through my recon, I got a couple of nasty infections. After the 2nd one my plastic surgeon sent me to An ID Doctor. He did wonders for me. Every time I have had surgery since then I would go to the ID Dr. and gave me in preventive medication. Hopefully your ID Dr. will do wonder for you too.
Jennifer I am so sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine. It is great that you and your sisters are best friends and each others support system.
I cannot wait to meet all of you in Vegas.
Hugs
Gisella
-
Susie, UGH! how frustrating. I hope the ID doc can straighten things out for you.
Deborah, I just saw the pics of our gift to you for your birthday. No one deserves those more than you do and I'm so thrilled to have been a part of it. I hope your birthday was fantastic!
-
Suzie you are so right. I keep a picture of my parents whom are also now my guardian angel on my visor. I have an hour commute each way to work. I talk to them more often now then ever.
So sorry to hear about the horrible accident. That is so sad. I do believe both of my parents passed quite peacefully
I have become a strong Ta Ta and I am so proud and glad just to be alive! I think having gone through this who ordeal was a real wake up call. You live each day like there is no tomorrow. I am so glad to have found this site. You are all the most amazing woman and I am so glad to have you in my life. A woman can never have enough sisters. Hugs to all the Ta Ta's..
-
Callin all my TATA's!! Thanx for all the wonderful support & comments!! (((HUGS))) I'm gonna be out of the picture for awhile...just got back from surgeon's office....I'm checking into hospital tomorrow morning-he wanted me in there today, but letting me get all my ducks in a row figured out-daughter/hubby. This is not life threating, but not good either. He had to make a bigger cut on my thigh today & the MRSA has gotten bigger since yesterday. Need to do surgery to cut deeper & put me on Vaco-the only thing that cures MRSA.!!
I love all of you & will return with the countdown till VEGAS-just taking a unwanted break at Hospital resort!! ARGGGGGG!!!!
My thoughts & Power Prayers are with all of you & the thoughts of VEGAS will be something fun to look forward to & help get me thru this!! (((HUGS)))
Take care Chow for now XOXO Susie
-
SUSIE!!!!! (((((HUGS))))) Prayers for this thing to be cured and NOW!!! Be strong and know we are all here pulling for you and praying.
-
((((((((((((((((SUSIE)))))))))))))))), hope everything goes well and you're out of that hospital soon! WOW, you're one strong lady to go through all that you've been through and still thinking positively! Will say prayers to help you through this and get you back home healthy and soon!
Terri

Susis my thoughts and prayer are with you.. Hope all goes well.. Keep your head held high and your hands folded. Your prayers will be answered.
-
SUSIE: Go get em girl!! You can do it--beat this thing!!!!!!!!!!
Sandy: Welcome back, albeit with this awful news. Prayers to you..
Jennifer: The definition of a bad year, it is so hard to lose one's parents. I too, am an orphan, an older one, but an orphan nonetheless. I too, believe they are always watching out for us, and sometimes I talk to them too...We are strong Ta Ta Sisters, and have been through a lot...but...
Bring it on!!! I can, and you can handle it!! JUDY
-
((((((Susie))))))

Oh Susie so sorry to hear you have to go back to the hospital. Having all the support with our tata sisterhood we will be just fine.
Today is 2 weeks since mom's surgery. They removed 2 feet of her colon but good news was able to hook it back up so no bag for her. I stopped again last night and she seemed to be doing good.

Ahhh, I love Sunday mornings. I'm sitting here in my quiet house with a cuppa coffee. So peaceful.
Sandy, It sounds like your mom is doing really well. I'm so glad she didn't have to have a colostomy, and I bet she is too. Have they done any scans to check for mets? What is her course of tx?
Gretchen, I've been meaning to tell you I LOVE your new avatar photo. Beautiful!
Laura, any news on Taylor's bloodwork? Have they made a Dx yet?
Susie, I hope you're doing well in the hospital and responding to the drugs. Can you have a laptop in there? I'd be in withdrawal without it, especially just sitting around all day! I'm sending you healing energy (are you familiar with Reiki?). You need to heal and be ready for Vegas!
-
Traceyz - I love the way you worded the ta tas squad - we are a strong group and continue to fight no matter what seems to be thrown at us.
Susie, hope those sores are healing, I can't wait to meet you and all the rest of the ta ta sisers in Vegas

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! The power of Prayers does miracles!! 0:) I can't begin to Thank you all enough for all the Love/Prayers/Support/Cheering me on (((((((BIG HUGS))))))!!
I was able to come home yesterday-Everything went better than expected. Got the IV in 1st try, a infussion nurse came up & did it. Got me started right away on Vacomision-after the 1st bag, things started to turn around & Dr. David said we wouldn't have to do surgery to cut into the hip any deeper-the 2nd incision he made on Thursday was deep & wide enough. Changed packing twice a day. I got 2 more bags of "Vaco" & started on 2 different types of antibiotic's. Rifampin & Bactrim-I now pee red & sick to stomack, side effects, but no worries considering what it couldv'e turned into!!! Follow up this Thursday...Had 2 other Dr.'s aboard & decided I'm to see a specialist in Portland, not at OHSU, but a Dr. who wrote the book on infections-so....will keep you all posted!!
It's a Hap Hap Hap HAPPY DAY!!!!! 52 days till Vegas WAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanx so much TA TA'S-I've said this before & will say it again,if it wasn't for all the support & love I couldn't do this alone!! Love ya!!!
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
