Meece I'm totally stuck for the last 3 weeks at 148 lbs! you can put me down for that. I can't lose one lb no matter what I do. Hmmm! I take Tamoxifen and I've read a lot of women have probs with wt. loss because of that. I haven't so far, but I'm stuck now so I wonder??? Give me some ideas ladies, the diet isn't doing it anymore. I've always had probs with my weight plateauing. I want to weigh about 135 at least 138. Help me get there!

My seriously best laugh-of-the-day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only at e-l-a-b!!!
I've been MIA.
Humiliating.
How can I gain weight while riding 15 miles a day on a bicycle?
Feel free to say something about muscle weighing more than fat.
But now that I've had a week in Vegas, I dare not even look in that direction.
I asked Sheila to find the perfect visual for me.
And she sure did!!!
LOLOLOLOLOL
-
Faith.... Another visual that makes sense at least for me.
-
Renee ~ I'm on Aromasin & I know darn well that is what is holding this dang weight on me. I just hate it - hate, hate, hate it!!!! I so know what you are talking about.
Thanks for the visual, Sheila. I'm hungry! LOL

Seriously. The two plates: TERRIFIC reminder.
I had to look extra hard to find 'smaller' plates to purchase, but it has been a good reminder.
DRUMROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
I forced myself to get out the scales this morning & was not looking forward to stepping on them and low & behold, while not a new low for me I was over-the-moon-thrilled to see 142.8 staring back at me.
So all this talk of seatbelts has been helpful.
I need a couple more 'sensible' days and I think I can continue to make progress toward further wellness.
Mimi. The last time I checked you were our GOLD standard for ELAB. I have sat here for weeks wondering how on earth you've made such amazing progress..... I think you are to be congratulated in triplicate for your efforts, choices and amazing results. Focus on the progress you have made.
Let's all get off of our duffs & get moving!!!
While in Vegas this week, we had a serendipitous moment.... anyhow, it ended up on YouTube and I thought you might get a kick outta seeing what I was up to with my ABC Girls (Arkansas, Bahamas, Columbus: LOL.) It was 111 degrees, I'm wearing my compression gear: cami, sleeve & gauntlet and have not yet been cleared for any kind of foobies -- but I think you can see that we were indeed having fun.
-
Thank goodness I was status quo when I weighed in yesterday. Glad I don't have to weigh in tomorrow, had cake, pasta, marinara sauce and garlic bread for dinner. I'll probably gain 5# of water weight from all of that!
Seyla, hope everything has come out alright by now!
Val, drove by your road today on the way to Merrill for a party.
Faith, the youtube was very cute and looks like you were having lots of fun.
Mimi, you can do it! I know you can.
-
suzwes.....Thank god. The big moment was this afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. LOL
-
Thanks Faith and Suzette!! It's like my body has become possessed and doesn't want to give up these last ugly pounds! LOL!!!! I as so stuck... gotta get over this hump. I had a nice dinner tonight, the only bad thing I had was a very small piece of corn bread. I'm from the south and I have been so good and haven't had any in like.... well, Forever! We had a yummy grilled butterfly pork chop, turnip greens, pintos, fresh tomatoes from the garden and an onion. It was soooo good! (Yep, I can cook)
Sheila! But my DH did do the grilling. It does make me feel good that I only ate a spoon of each thing and 1/2 of the chop. So I was good...
Guess I'm gonna start walking on that dreaded treadmill. Maybe that will help get this darned weight off.

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!
Jennifer. What a gift. You're welcome here with us at any time.
I know our fearless leader is gonna do cart-wheels at the good news.
Expect my PM.
I'm headin' to bed, but I'm thrilled to have some encouragement that is personalized to my story. Have you had much experience with LE (Lymphodema)? That is my newest layer of woe. It has impacted my efforts at being active.
Oh happy day!!!!

Yummy salad!
That is another "to-do" for me, to post a real life picture. I have instructions, just haven't tried it yet.
Suzette, if you drove up M-52 to go to Merrill, you were only 2 miles from me. If the party was outside, it was a HOT day for it.
I agree with Faith, Renee, you are our GOLD standard for this project of ours, you so inspire me. I have really slacked off on the 'get moving' part, & I vow to begin on Monday my walking again.
We CAN do this! We ARE doing this!!
-
Hi Val....Do you know how long I've trying to post real pictures. Finally my brain understood.
yes we can do this. For me not being able take my walks on the top of falling from the wagon is not helping me.
95 degree is too hot to take nice long walks.
-
Faithandfifty.... I personally have not had LE but my mother has a terrible case of it... she can barely move her arm at all. I have been working with her long distance as she is in West Virginia and I am in Arizona. Include information on this when you PM me

Here's a picture of my DD's and DH
As you can tell it is a couple of years old. They still pretty much look the same.
This is DH and grand son Kane - oldest DD's son
Hope ya'll don't mind me sharing... I don't really understand how to resize I never can figure that out.
-
Lovely family. Mimi.
I weighed in around 164ish this week. I was hoping i would do well this weekend, but I made ceviche which in itself wouldn't be bad. It was all of the tortilla chips I used to scarf it down.
Welcome, Jenn1975, and thank you for your offer.
-
Renee ~ OMG, your DD's are beautiful, such a nice pic with their Dad. And, your grandson, what a cutie-pie!
I will post a pic of my DD's when I get some pics over to PhotoBucket (?) & figure out how to post them here.
Hi Meecie-sister. I hope everything has been okay. Really nice to see you.

You know I have just been in a funk this week. Work is taking it's toll, and I come by and read, just don't feel like I have anything to input.

Love the pictures, keep them coming. Mimi, Val, Paulding, and Seyla, love the pictures of your families! Keep the pictures coming. I'll have to see if I can find one (it's hard to find one that includes all 11 of us - hubby, me, 4 kids, 2 in law kids and 3 grandkids!)
I've been doing fairly well this week although I just pigged out on 15 pringles! Geeze! My DD#1 and DIL and I are going to Columbus tomorrow through Sunday (I'll wave at you Faith). I'll probably eat more junk but we'll be walking a lot, probably a few miles every day so hopefully my weigh in won't be so bad. Guess I'll have to weigh in next Monday instead of Friday!
Have a great day.
-
This is the last time the four of us were together, and it was a little over 3 years ago.
I had been sick that week, so looked a bit pale.
-
Wow! What great pics! It's so neat to put a face with a name. Seyla Your ladies are gorgeous!
Meece, I had no idea you were the mother of hoodlums! Very handsome and you are so stinkin skinny in that pic!
