Renee ~ Congrats on the loss! You have come far, you should be very proud of yourself.
Carollynn ~ Good to see you & that you have not gained; we all know how hard that is to do.
Sheila ~ I think what I wrote to you I was telling myself also, sometimes I just really need to focus on what is in front of me.
Good night all!

No gain, no loss for me. We were out of town Friday and helped some friends most of the day yesterday and I jsut forgot to post.
I am having such difficulties with "digestion" I have been eating lots of fruit, prunes, drinking lots of water and NOTHING. Last night I even resorted to a small dose of M.O.M. and still nothing. I know if I could ever get regular I could start losing. I heard flax seed is not good forTNs. Does anyone know anything about this?
-
I don't know the answer to your question Meece but I am having lots of difficulties with "digestion" too. I am taking flax seed (I double checked with my onc) but it's not doing anything for me. Wish I could be more help, just wanted you to know you have a partner in "misery".

I was happy to find out today (doctor office weigh-in) that my World Cup snacking has not done any damage. I was a pound less than my weight four mos. ago. Probably just lighter clothing, but I have been walking every day now to burn the snacks off. I have also been better with my choice of snack (sometimes) going for peaches or cherries or grapes.
It has been a challenge for me to maintain my weight, being on two drugs that can put weight on some people, but so far so good.
One of those drugs is constipating too, so I hear you gals with the slow digestion. It has not caused me that much trouble though because I have always supplemented with magnesium and that keeps things moving along.
-
Whoooohoooooo for Elimar keeping it moving!! We need all of the cheerleaders we can get.
We got home safely from whirlwind trip to Alabama. Last night I slept for 10 hours and 55 minutes. I think that it's safe to say that I was worn out. Completely worn out. The good news is that my hubby coached me on our bicycles late this morning and I made it 12.4 miles and took my first 'incline' of the season. This week is the gradual incline up past our fire department and then another incline on up to the softball field.
This week it's taking the inclines daily & next week I'm gonna try my first hill.
Tomorrow is my first private yoga session. Will give a full report.

I know that yesterday morning, Tues, was not the Friday weigh-in day, but I was 145.2 #.
I will be gone for 11 days beginning this Thursday & back on the 12th day, which is July 12. I will be at my DD's - DH is building them a bathroom in the basement & the guys are hoping to get a lot done, plus some fishing.
Anyway, I will miss two Friday weigh-ins & I was just so excited this morning (yesterday really) I had to post! I will see if this holds for my Wednesday weigh-in as well.
elimar ~ Congrats on no gain!
faith ~ Followed your pics on your blog, so glad you had a great time!
-
Good going, Valjean. What do you get to do while the guys work on the bathroom?
-
Valerie.. you have a safe and fun trip. Vacation time eating is not a sin. Make sure you take your walks. You are doing fine. I'm happy and relief this morning early weigh in 158. I'm not eating junk food and I'm on the wagon with seat belts so i don't fall again. 5 days normal eating made me loose 2.5 pounds. lalalalalalallaaaa
-
When the guys are working on the bathroom, I get to go SHOPPING and PLAY with the grandbabies. Yippee Ki Yay!!!
Sheila ~ Congrats on your loss! You must keep your seat belt really tight. LOL That's what I hope to do as well. Love that ~ "on the wagon with seat belts." :P)
I was 145.2# again this morning so I am using that as my inspiration to really watch what I put into my mouth.
Happy early 4th of July everyone. I love this country!!!!
-
Sheila I guess I need to tighten my belt some too! I have had to cheat some this week. I usually eat my lunch meals at work and they have not had enough food cooked lately and we have had to eat whatever is left. Yesterday that was only peach cobbler and ice cream and asparagus I'm sorry to say. Not a very filling lunch, but you do what you have to. I also went to a baby shower on Sunday and had some cake and other goodies. LOL! I have been bad this week. I think I may skip weigh in... heeheehee!!! I am sure there is no loss.
Val Jean I hope you have great fun with your grandbabies!

I had about a 350 calorie lunch today. Not bad except it was all Peanut M&Ms. I had to do some shopping and ran oujt of time, I went through the check out and that was what I grabbed. Stupid girl!
-
What a good idea
tomorrow for lunch I will eat half of the goldfish. I just checked the package has 423 calories
Maybe i should wait until Saturday.
-
I think I should eat lettuce and drink water tomorrow.
-
These food choices are sounding very good. I think peanut m and ms has plants (chocolate) and protein (peanuts). I think the goldfish have grains.
I got in trouble with my trainer (I only see him twice a month and then get in trouble for everything) - not enough healthy foods, not enough snacks in the day, too much eating at a single meal, yada, yada, yada. He's right so I'll try and mend my ways!
-
I do fairly well at work...then I come home!
-
Good Morning E-LAB Sisters.
My wagon and the seat belt did wonders for me this past week. And yes I had my goldfish.
My weight this morning shows 157.2 which makes me feel better.
-
Just got back from a very nice vacation and thank goodness I didn't gain any weight. 161! Returned home after 9 days and as we pulled in the drive way my 19 yr. old DD called and said she was in the hospital with a broken nose due to an accident. So dealing with that this week. Had surgery today. Trying not to eat due to stress. Ugh! Miss you girls and I will try to catch up this weekend.
-
Hey everyone... Hope all of you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend!! To all of you that may have served in the military or have family or loved ones that have served or are still serving... I give them my many thanks for what all have done to give us the freedom we have. I realize more everyday that it doesn't come without a price tag and we certainly too often take it for granted. Bless you all !!!!
I am not weighing in this week as I have been very bad. Today I had bar-b-que at work (no bun),mac and cheese, fries, and jello salad. Boy it was good! I ate way to much. Yesterday I kinda did the same thing at lunch and i have had a couple of banana nut muffins today as well and yesterday I had 3 small strawberry cheesecake muffins. Like I said baaaddd!!!! I don't think I gained any but certainly no loss for me. I have been very STRESSED at work. When I get stressed I tend to eat junk food. So that is what I have been doing the last 2 days. I am so behind in my work and can't seem to get caught up. "oh my" I don't need to complain!. This to shall pass.
I am going to get back on the wagon and get this last 15 lbs off by Aug. 25th. I've got to destress. Wish I was getting my vacation before Aug. 9th and it would help me but not as far as getting my work caught up. I would just be worried about it not being done and then being behind more when I got back. Haha... that's the way my mind works. Won't I ever learn.

I am at 162.2 for another week. And I weighed in after dinner tonight. I guess I should have weighed in first thing this morning. I might have registered a loss.
-
I'm not going to even get into all the junk we ate on the cruise. I was very very naughty! Even ate my DH's little chocolates on the bed at night. But we kept very active and I didn't put on any weight. I tried to make healthy choices but desserts were impossible to pass up. am making my sugar free cheesecake this 4th of July weekend. I picked up some Vanilla in Cozumel and want to make bread pudding very badly.
Wishing you all the best this weekend!
-
Paulding...Im so sorry about your daughter broken nose. It must be very painful.
Now question time!!!!
You were naughty ate the little chocolates but kept very active.
Was it after you ate the chocolate that you kept very active????????????????
-
oooo, good question Seyla! Hope your daughter feels better soon Paulding.
I had no change this week (thank goodness). Haven't been exercising much and still eating the same so i was surprised. Must get back on the exercise bandwagon!
-
I weighed in Saturday Morning and saw 161.4 for the first time in a couple of years. Then we went for our weekend getaway. I need to move more if I am going to see that number again soon.
-
SEYLA!!!! now your the naughty one!
Speaking of naughty, tell me what you see in this picture of one of the towel animals we found on our bed. Granted I had one Bloody Mary during the show before we came back to our room. You should have seen what my DH did with the little chocolates.
FYI it's a walrus, what a walrus has to do with the western Caribbeans I can't figure.
-
Oh yeah Lisa for sure that looks like a Walrus... NOT!! hahaha!!! I would have never guessed that in a million years.
And for sure isn't Sheila naughty!!! heeheehee!!!! But glad you had a good time anyway. The funny animal and Sheila made me smile.
Renee
-
Paulding...I'm trying not to be naughty but you are asking for it.
So what did DH do with the little chocolates?
-
Hi Renee...How are you today?
Is it hot where you are?
-
Sheila it is absolutely hot here! Whew, I was on fire a little bit earlier today!!!
I am doing much better today! LOL!!
