Glad to see people checking in.
Glad no ones doing any housework. LOL.
We've had a glorious weekend up here in paradise.

It was exactly one year ago that Saint's family came up here to spend the week with us. I miss her like crazy. Had a rough morning of missing our daily phone converations. She seriously 'lives' with me up here. I know you bunnies understand.
-
Hi Bunnies......not sure if I've posted this before.
Just wonder what your smart and gifted bunnies see in this picture??
-
Hi bunnies! It's been awhile. I actually came here the other night and typed out a long post and then accidentally erased it before I posted it. I was too tired to do it again, so I gave up.
It's so good to come here and read how everyone is doing. You are all always in my thoughts and prayers. I just had to leave here for awhile. I am trying to learn to live as a survivor. Sometimes I do okay and other times...I am clueless. It's been tough. In some ways harder than treatment was. I know you understand.
I have my first mammo since diagnosis this week on Wednesday morning. I am scared. I'm a coward. My husband is going with me. I'm not too worried about it. I'm more afraid of mets than I am of cancer in my right breast. There was nothing unusual there on my last mammo. I hope and expect this one will be the same, but we all know how it doesn't always work that way. So I am scared.
Anyway, I think of you every day. I hope all the bunnies are doing well. I keep up with some of you on Facebook. Anybody on Facebook who isn't a friend of mine, please add me! I'm Mary Snyder Jackson there.
Hugs to all of you!
-
Mary,
I about 4 weeks ago I had my first mammo since dx. I know how you are feeling.
I did great until they call me back for a second look , it felt Iike deja vu and promptly bursted into tears. It turned out the shadow they saw was dense tissue. Thank God.I will be with you in thoughts on Wednesday.
Big Hugs to all
Viv

Mary! So good to hear from, but I think of you all the time. I am STILL playing Farkle! hehehheeh
I have played almost 6,000 games as a PRO...
Vivy I would have had a heart-attack if they had called me back! That must have been very hard to do.
-
Mary (((hugs))) We have all gone through this and are there with you.
-
Viv- I would just fall apart if they called me back. I know I would. So glad to hear that your's was okay. Sorry you had to suffer through a callback though! I also feel better seeing your stats. You were diagnosed the month before me and just had one too. I was beginning to wonder why nobody was scheduling one for me. My onc didn't schedule this one. My primary did when I went for my yearly. She was shocked I hadn't had one and promptly scheduled it.
Barbe- sorry about the farkle. LOL It's addicting!!!!!
Thanks mumayan!! I so appreciate it!
-
Coonie - hehe at first I could only see a bunny, it took a while for me to be able to see a duck. I must have bunnies on the brain.
Viv - I know I would have lost it completely if they had called me back. So glad that yours turned out to be OK.
Mary - you are not a coward at all! The first mammo after diagnosis is very scary. I had mine in late May, scheduled by my surgeon. Luckily for me it was totally uneventful, no call back, they didn't try to mammo my TE, just a short wait and I was told I was free to go. We were going on holiday the next day so I went home and started packing :-) I hope yours is uneventful too. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
I am due to have my reconstruction on 26th July. I will be having my TE replaced by a permanent implant. My surgeon would have done it in June but I asked to put it off until the College summer holiday so I won't have to lose any more time from work.
Hugs to all.
-
