Hi Dusty Buns! I hope you are all having a good weekend.
Faith thank you for the birthday wishes. That's a funny story about your hubby thinking he was born on Aug 8th until he was 16. LOL at the thought of his mom getting confused after four boys! It's a good reason to celebrate on 8th and 9th though so many happy returns to your hubby.
We will also be celebrating next weekend with a short break in Wales. We left it till then to allow me more time to get over my exchange surgery and just be able to relax and enjoy it. I am feeling good and getting impatient to be back to normal. My surgeon has said no swimming, cycling or running for 6 weeks, so I am walking and doing some gentle stretches and yoga and that will have to do for now.
Coonie good for you having someone come to clean your house. What a lovely treat.
Mum yes that would be hard having to find new oncs in a new province, not something to rush into for sure.
Hope all you bunnies are doing well. Hugs to all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!! Jayne!!
Oh....it's probably tomorrow already! Dang! I missed it. Oh well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FAITHS DH!!!!
-
Jayne, it's after midnight, so yup, I am sending late but bestest wishes to you. Hope it was just peachy! xxx
Girls, just want you to know you are still in my heart and my thaughts despite my brief appearences here since the spring. Hopefully I will be able to pop in more regularely when the kiddos are back in school in September.
Barbe! THank you for the info you posted re my health questions. I am trying to hang in there on all of that until after my visit to the oncs in September. Still, broken lemonette still here! just bit broken, as per usual.
Kids wowing me as usual, if my one good eye wasn't giving me "jip" I'd post their latest morsels of lovelyness and quirkiness right noe but my eye is ticked off. (I had a mega eye infection a few moths ago and it seems not not really have got back to perfect- shame as it's the only one that is any good).
I think of you often. Just today, I was thinking of FAITH as I listenned to her ditties, and tidying the shelves and came across her book, then when reading to my daughter, thinking of what special british book I could send to COONIE's daughter for her year 3 class..still thinking.
Thinking of ALL of you, one by one, whilst cooking the dinner and sending you mind bestest vibes.
Now got to go to bed ladies.
xx Shiny be gooooood to yourselves ya hear!

We are off to Corfu in 2 week's time, tryig to stay on top of things within reason..ordered the children's uniforms today, ouch! they grow toooo fast! ahh and all those labels to iron in, the joy. I always end up with crinckled little wee peices of blobby pastic, grrr.

Shiny was it Corfu you went to earlier this year, when the volcanic ash was causing problems for aircraft?
I always enjoy Greece but have never been to Corfu, is there a particular resort/area you would recommend?
-
Hi Jayne,
I have just pm'd you.

Sugar, HRF, PIP, Dreamwriter, Enjoyful, Lindasa, Lassie, Barbe, and Frankie
-
I KNOW it looks like we're holding up condoms, but we're not...honest. We're holding up chocolate in honour of Konakat....seriously. I mean the only one who hit a hotel that night was PIP. PIP? Where's your chocolate????
-
ROTFL I never even thought about the little packets.
-
Thanks Shiny, I'll go and check my PMs now.
Mum that's a great pic, so good to be able to put faces to names. I did wonder what everyone was holding lol!
-
LOLOL
I seriously did think condoms.
Where is my mind?
I thought that's what ya meant by characters.
Mum are you taking the photo?
Barbe your hair is sooooo cute. Looks so sassy & with attitude. Love it.
Dream, is that you in the green pants? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to go straight across or back to the back row. I need more help. Friends for dummies version of the caption. Guess I'm kinda loopy. We're headed back from Chicago. My workshops were a big hit. Loved the response.
xx00xx00xx
-
Faith, I was the same as you trying to figure out who's who, so guess am loopy too! (take the guess out for me).
Glad your workshops went brill, not surprised but glad.

Yes Charmaine and I were both taking the photographs so we are missing from the shot.Yes Dream is in the green pants.
I have a liver scan tomorrow then I am off to Muskoka for a week. But i will have a laptop now so I will still check on everyone here. I amnot going to worry about anything. I feel fine.
-
And that's what counts Mum!! Keep in touch and have a blast.
-
Mumma,
Have alovely break. BTW: I have had 2x ct before showing noddules in liver, not changing and then a hemagioma, previously not recorded, nothing exciting to date, and of course hoping that it keeps that way. You are right not to worry. Just to that "thang" and go and have a good and well earned break.
I read about your Montreal move thingy, bit one. I used to live around there many moons ago. Food's fantastic, but your have to speak to the Montreal BCO club on the Canadian thread to get ideas re the oncs. Take care and hope you and hubby will find a happy agreement re your home location.
Take care all. Hi Barbe, I am going to go to bed before midnight tonight, just baking for a bc charity then off to bed.
xx xx xx
