I spoke with saint for a very short conversation, late this morning.... Right now, the biggest issue is gettineg her pain pump regulated. It seems to either give her tooo much or too little meds. She will be working w her onc to sort out the issues.
She's.grateful for the continued support.

I posted this on the other thread about 6 hours ago, right after I'd spoken with Saint. I was posting from my phone and couldn't cut and paste...... but I wanted everyone on this thread to have the same news.
Saint just called. She has given me permission to report her current situation, in reality... Without the pollyanna glasses. She feels LOUSY, totally LOUSY and she feels lousy feeling lousy.
She is on pain patches (not a pain pump. I misunderstood.)Anyhow they are having various issues getting them sorted out.
She said that occasionally she can think in terms of day to day and then she deteriorates to hour to hour orientation.
I have begged her to consider taking anti-depressants, but she doesn't think they will "fix" anything and doesn't want to add another chemical to her concoction.
She needs an avalanche of your continued prayers. I am planning to see her a month from now and she indicated we'd have to wait and see about that.
I can't really bring myself to consider any of this...but I felt all of you deserved to know. -
thanks faith .. I know that was hard to post. will do my oz'ish to call this weekend. if somehow that doesn't happen, love you dorothy

-
Gentle hugs Saint.

Dear Saint,
I hope tomorrow is the day you start to feel a tangible releif from all the symptoms that are causing you so much grief.
We really feel for you and pray for you as you continue to brave all the demanding non negotiables in your life.
May you soon be rewarded with a wave of unexpected releif from your symptoms.
You've amazed many many of your doctors before, not to mention all of us. Anything is possible.
I pray for your strenght as you go forth, and for peace in your heart.
Sending my best to you, your loving family and caring supporters at home.
Big gentle hug,
Shiny
