Birthday greetings for Cindarella, prayers for Saint
-
It's 19:40 here in England, DH is putting kiddies to bed and I am seriously thinking of going to bed very soon. Sometimes I joke with my 6 year old that it is "her turn" to put ME to bed and read me a story.. tonight that sounds good.. oh dear DD is having a woobly, best get to her.
Hope your day is going well, thinking of you.

Just now off the phone with Saint.
I think she wouldn't mind too much if I shared that she's having a very rough time today.
It turns out that tonight is "parent night" for the musical Cinderella and she is just overwhelmed with pain and a variety of side effects from this and that.
After several conversations, I think she is going to give it her best shot to be in attendance tonight. If anyone comes on & finds this...... NOW is the time for prayers. It feels very much like when I started these threads for her. Then it was Luke's graduation event, now it's Molly's starring role. NOW is the time for prayers.
She was digging down deep to find some additional resolve -- in the effort to attend tonight.
xx00xx00xx00xx
And it's not too late to send a birthday card.
PM me for her address.
Edited to add a picture for a new page. (On Stage IV thread)
Now I'm just being goofy
and
superstitious.
Here's our Cinderella
Last summer.
I took the picture.
She's sitting in Green Bay.
-
Hey Saint, I'm sending as much strength as I can for you. I hope that combined with all the other prayers sent your way it will be enough to get you there tonight. Gentlest of hugs Sistah.
-
Cinderella is one little cutie patootie!!!!
-
what an awesome picture of Cinderella!!! oh Saint, I hope you were able to somehow channel our prayers and thoughts and got through tonight better than expected. I know your own wishes this past year or so have been simple ... simple celebrations at home where otherwise it would have been a major event, and I know that hasn't been easy for you. so tonight we're praying for the simple act of being able to watch a show at the time and in the place where it means the most to you.
-
Amen to that Marlegal,
Wether you made it to the live performance or not, I am sure you were there, in Cinderella's heart and that you inspired her to give a brilliant performance. Of course, I dearly hope you were able to attend last night, especially as you so deserve that joy.
However, in terms of what you bring to your child as a mother;
Remember and know in your heart of hearts that the fact that your "Cindy" knows with every fibre of her body and in every corner of her heart that her mother beleives in her 1000%, cherishes her 10000% and is proud of her 1000000% for ever, that is a constant and a strenght for her that no one or nothing can ever take away.
Many children don't have that from their parent, and when you give that unreservedly to your child no matter what burden's you have to shoulder yourself, it is a never ending resourse and pool of inspiration that keeps on giving, even if your current pains did indeed keep you from this one performance.
Now, hope you can rest up, and get some releif from the docs to focus on attending and enjoying a further performance once you are feeling stronger.
Thinking of you.

Hallelujahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Oh happy day.
Oh happy, happy day.
Oh happy, happy, happy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got off the phone with Saint.
She made it.
She got to go.
She got to sit with all the parents of all the kids and see her daughter in the title role of Cinderella.
Did you hear me just exhale for the first time all day???
I am soooooo happy.
The show was a huge success and our starring princess was fantastic, according to her mother's best, non-biased, judgement.
Send up the fireworks!!!!
p.s. Saint spent all of today in the hospital's out-patient clinic. I'll ask her how many of those details she wants on the world-wide-web.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
Be well & stay strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**** And send her a birthday card!!! You still have plenty of time.

shiny, I don't when I've ever read something so moving about a mother's love to her child as what you wrote a few posts ago to Saint. It was so incredibly on point. Faith - make sure if you're skimming which posts to read to Saint that shiny's makes it in!!! (You can leave out mine, I'll take the bullet for that one!!!) Love and hugs to you all my friends.
-
Thanks Faith for the news. That is soooooooooooo awesome that Saint got up the strength to go - we serve and awesome God.
Saint, sorry you spend the day in the ER but so glad you got to enjoy 'Parents Night' as I'm sure your Cinderella performed extra well (if tha't possible) because you were there for the first night. God has orchestrated it so that you bless your family as much as they bless you. Neat.
Many, many HUGS!
-
Gentle hugs Saint. Praying for a peaceful day for you and your family.
-
I spent the day with my parents today.
Just heard today's update from Saint.
She spent today at the hospital-clinic getting a blood transfusion.
Have I ever told you that every time she starts a phone conversation or leaves me a message, that she first asks about how I am doing? And then she wishes me well.
She is really amazing. Flat out amazing.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

I say we all have cake on March 9th and have a cyber-birthday party for Saint.

Faith typing, Saint speaking............
"I made it to parent's night!!! While the leads were very good, there were a lot of 'bugs' to still work out of the play. Then got to spend the next two days in out-patient. I'm feeling better and hoping that we are coming to a balance. My youngest sister arrives tomorrow and it would be great to feel good while she's here.
There are four more productions of Cinderella. I'm sure to make at least a couple more. For those of you who want to support the Scotland fundraiser, there's a pancake breakfast next Saturday before the matinee, you can eat unlimited pancakes, and pose with Cinderella to get your picture taken -- and I think that's hysterical!!!
As my husband would say, a little bird has been chirping apparently because we have a mailbox full of cards. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, since this has been one of the worst week's I've had, it's certainly been nice, that when everything turned around I have all of your cards."
Be well and stay strong.
-
Thanks you two for the update.
Saint, we'll be praying for the emerging "balance" to take hold and keep you stronger and all round better, and make sure you have a good visit with your sister.
Faith, thinking of you.((hug hug))
Take good care you two.
